All creatures great and small!
Like many sitters on Rover, I am a lifelong animal lover and longtime animal owner! My family has never been without a cat in the house, each with their own unique personality. I was a regular volunteer in animal shelter/rescue settings with dogs, cats, and rodents throughout high school and college, where my undergraduate degree in Animal Biology placed a strong emphasis on animal welfare. Post-college I spent 3 years working professionally in a wildlife hospital, caring for orphaned and injured mammals, birds, and reptiles. Consequently, I am very comfortable interacting with domestic animals and exotics of many shapes, sizes, and personalities.

When providing care for your pet in your home, my goal is to maintain your pet's typical environment and routine - it can be stressful to have an unknown human in their home! I appreciate getting as much information as possible about your pet's personality, preferences, and habits, so that disruption to their routine is minimal and they feel comfortable and safe during their time with me.

Schedule
I work a full-time Monday-Friday job in education which allows me some flexibility/availability during the day, and my Rover radius is set to allow me to accommodate walks and drop-ins during or after my work day. Generally, I am available weekends, evenings, and holidays with consistency, and can do weekday morning or afternoon visits on a periodic or occasional basis. Please check my calendar and/or message me for specific availability!
