“Thank you so much for taking care of everything over the past three days. He responded very promptly and kindly every time, and sent me videos several times, which made me feel very reassured. I truly appreciate his thoughtfulness and communication.”

“The level of care provided by Omar is unmatched. My pitty can be handful at times and I was super impressed by how Omar handled her and took care of her like she was his own dog. I will 100% be sending her back! Thank you so much Omar!!”

“This was my first time using this service, and I was very impressed. She sent me frequent updates with photos and messages about my dog’s condition throughout the day, which made me feel comfortable and reassured. It was a reliable and trustworthy experience, and I will definitely use her service again if I have the chance!”

“Noelle is such an amazing individual. My pup had anxiety the first night I dropped her off and Noelle was very good at communicating everything with me. After the first night Phoenix did a full 360 and was having the best time with Noelle. I will gladly use Noelle to sit for Phoenix.”

“Kiara was amazing with our golden retriever Kona. She sent videos and updates every day from their walks and playtime in her large fenced in yard. Kiara’s policy of dog sitting only one at a time ensured he had love and attention. He came back relaxed and happy, not stressed out at all. Kiara herself is warm and friendly, interested in hearing about all your dog’s foibles, and obviously a calming presence to dogs. We are absolutely going to use her again!”

“Rafaelina and her family were amazing with Chewie! He was so happy staying with them and having so many friends to run around with all day. They sent daily photos and messages to keep me updated on Chewie which I really appreciated. We will definitely use them again! Thank you so much for taking such good care of our baby!”

“Maria is the dog whisperer! She gave my dog A+ attention while we were away. He's an older dog and grumpy with people he doesn't know but Maria was patient and understanding and won him over right away. She communicated every day with pictures and updates so we felt confident he was safe and sound in her care over the holidays. I would definitely use her again!”

“I had the pleasure of meeting Sujaya at a meet and greet prior to booking a boarding reservation. I am glad I did. She was so lovely at the meet and greet and when I left my pup with her, it was a great decision. Sujaya was so attentive and accommodating to anything my pup needed and was extremely responsive to any questions I had. This particular boarding was because I had a family wedding to attend and I felt immediately at ease that my pup was in good hands. It was obvious that Sujaya is a natural caretaker and really went above and beyond to take care of my girl. I think my pup (Irene) did well for her first time with a new person and Sujaya was alert to her needs and wants during the stay. I will definitely book Sujaya again!! Thank you Sujaya!!”

“Dana provided the perfect care and environment for our dog Birdie - she felt at home right away and had the best time hanging out with Dana and running around outside with her dog Healo. She kept us in the loop with Birdie's activities with photos and videos which kept us at ease. Birdie made some new friends, and we made some new friends in the process as well. I highly recommend Dana and will most definitely be using her again in the future. Thanks again Dana!”
“Awesome experience for my first time using Rover. Needed an extended care of my dog while away for almost 2 weeks and Jorge stepped up when needed most. Pictures and communication kept me calm while away, I was extremely pleased. Will book again when needed!”

“Essence is the best! I know my dogs are in great hands with her. She is always flexible with us, she sends us updates without us having to ask, my dogs are always happy when they leave her place. She is the best and I am so grateful for her. Xoxo thank you Essence.”

“This was our first experience with leaving Scar with anyone other than family and need to say that it was a very good experience. Thank you for the video and pictures to keep up at ease. Will definitely use them again.”

“Giselle, was great! Highly recommend, and will for sure repeat booking in the future. Giselle was extremely prompt and responsive when coordinating a meet and greet/ pick up and drop off. She sent lots of photos, videos and text updates about our pup while we were away for several days. She has and amazing calm and positive energy...truly felt like our fur baby was in good hands.”

“Best ever. She was very understanding about my delayed traveling and babysat my dog for an extra 12 hours free of charge! Shes very sweet, caring, and I could tell my dog was very happy after a 3 night stay. Highly recommend”

“My trip was very last minute. Had to fly out that day and Grace & Wu took my fur baby cat in. They updated me daily with pictures and texts! My kitty is a very shy one but he slowly adjusted. He was in good hands and I was at ease! Will definitely book again ! 💜”

“Emily was great with Evie! Very responsive and also made sure we were comfortable with everything. Even though our dog is very skittish around other dogs, she made sure her own dogs stayed at a family member's home during Evie's stay. We will likely use her again in the future if we have to go on any other away trips. Sent a lot of pictures each day to update us. Also, Evie's stay was during the forest fires in Canada so the air quality was bad outside. However, Emily made sure that her air filters were on so we never had to worry about her or Evie. 5/5 stars!”

Valentina was amazing with Bentley! She was so sweet, communicative, and clearly gave him so much love and attention. She sent me updates 1–2 times a day with lots of pictures, and Bentley always looked so happy and comfortable. She made him feel right at home, gave him plenty of outside and play time, and even sent him home with a little stuffed animal gift! 🥹 Her son Ezekiel was also such a sweet little helper. I’m so happy I found Valentina and would absolutely trust her with Bentley again. Highly recommend her!

William was great with our big puppy Diesel. During Diesel’s one week boarding William made sure to keep us updated and at ease with videos and messages. As a trainer, William also gave us feedback on the areas Diesel could use improvement in his training. We would definitely recommend William as a sitter for your four legged children.

Wilbur seemed happy during his visit with Nikki. Easy arrangement and communication with Nikki - would’ve loved more photos and updates each day - but just happy to see Wilbur was in good shape after the 6 days :) Their dog Scout was super happy to play with Wilbur so it was good companionship at Nikki’s house.

My dog, Roo, had a phenomenal stay with Leticia!! Leticia was very kind and friendly, and had a lovely and cozy home that I felt very comfortable with Roo staying at. Roo is a very finicky chihuahua with high anxiety and is an extreme velcro dog, and she bonded with Leticia without a problem! Roo also tends to go on hunger strikes while I’m away, but to my surprise and delight, she had no problems eating while at Leticia’s! Leticia sent lots of pictures and videos of Roo, which really helped my own anxiety with leaving Roo with a sitter from Rover for the first time. Overall, Roo was happy and healthy and I couldn’t have been more pleased! I would definitely recommend Leticia to anyone!!

Rhonda & her husband were gracious hosts to our dog for a couple of days. She was very communicative, checking in; getting clarification when necessary & sending great photos. My favorite was the one where she took her on a walk near the water - photo shows our dog with Rhonda, sitting on a bench with her head up - tongue out and laughing. Highly recommend!

Soshi absolutely adored her stay with Matthew! He is highly communicative and sent pictures throughout her stay. I completely forgot dog poop bags and he had them at home. He also let me know that another dog might come by (family) and his breed and temperament and if I think they would be ok or should be separated. My dog is pretty easygoing, but I appreciated the extra steps Matthew took to make me feel at ease. My dog did NOT want to leave the next morning! It feels great to know there is someone reliable nearby to watch my pup. He also put on Bluey for her in the evening! 10/10 experience and will be back for sure.

Kiara was amazing with our golden retriever Kona. We are absolutely going to use her again!

Jasmine is a fantastic dog-sitter! She’s super responsive and communicative, and takes such good care of our dog, Daisy, that Daisy gets excited when she realizes she’s going on a “vacation”. I would highly recommend Jasmine to any pet parents looking for a responsible and caring sitter for their pet.

Alyssa was absolutely amazing! From the moment we met, I could tell she genuinely loves animals, and she took care of Peanut and Sprout as if they were her own. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. When I picked them up, they were happy, well cared for, and clearly received so much love and attention. It’s such a relief to find someone I can completely trust with my babies. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Alyssa to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive pet sitter. Peanut and Sprout can’t wait to see her again, and neither can I! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rover Review for Leon ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're looking for someone to trust with your dogs, please read this. This isn't just another Rover review for us. For almost two years, my wife and I didn't take a single vacation. We used to travel six or seven times a year, but that all stopped after a tragedy changed our family forever. Our beloved 14-year-old Labrador Pit Bull mix, Cooper, stayed with a dog sitter we had trusted for nine years. Before we left, Cooper was happy, vibrant, and full of life. Aside from a little arthritis that comes with age, he was healthy. We had been playing with him before leaving for our five-day vacation, and there was absolutely nothing to suggest anything was wrong. When Cooper was dropped off at our home after we returned, we were told everything had gone great. The moment I took him out of the car, I knew something was terribly wrong. He could barely walk. We rushed Cooper to the veterinarian. Two days later, he deteriorated rapidly. We learned he had suffered a severe spinal injury, and on New Year's Eve we had to say goodbye to the glue of our family. Cooper wasn't just our dog. He was the heart of our home. He was the one who held everyone together. To this day, we'll never know exactly what happened because we were never given an explanation. That experience changed us forever. It left us with PTSD and a fear of ever leaving our dogs with anyone again. Anyone who truly loves a dog understands they aren't just pets. They're family. Losing Cooper devastated us, but it also devastated our chocolate Labrador, Chloe. She grieved his loss right alongside us. The house became quiet. The joy was gone. Almost a year later, after a lot of healing, we welcomed another chocolate Labrador into our family, Callie. Even then, we still couldn't bring ourselves to travel. The thought of leaving Chloe and Callie with anyone filled us with anxiety. Finding someone you can trust is one of the hardest things in the world. Everyone has great reviews. Everyone says the right things. But when your dogs are your family, reviews only go so far. Then we met Leon. From our very first meet and greet, something just felt different. I went by myself with Callie and Chloe so they could meet Leon. We spent a long time talking about dogs, life, and how he and his wife started Dog City. He shared stories about the dogs they've loved over the years, and you could immediately tell that caring for dogs wasn't simply a business to him. It was something he genuinely loved. Callie and Chloe immediately felt comfortable around him. Labs tend to love everyone, but I could tell they were relaxed, and that meant a lot to me. Even after that first meeting, I went home and thought about it for almost a month. That's how difficult this decision was. Finally, I told my wife, "I really want you to meet Leon. We have to get away. It's time." So we went back together for a second visit. She asked every question she wanted to ask, and Leon answered every one of them with patience, kindness, and understanding. We never told Leon what had happened to Cooper. We simply told him that our previous dog sitter had retired. He had no idea we were carrying almost two years of fear and heartbreak. Looking back now, I think that says even more about the kind of person he is. His compassion wasn't because he knew our story. It was simply who he is. A week later, we dropped Chloe and Callie off for a short four-day vacation—our first trip in almost two years. While we were away, Leon sent us pictures every single day. He stayed in touch throughout our trip, letting us know how our girls were doing and giving us something we hadn't felt in a very long time. Peace of mind. His home has a beautiful fenced backyard, but what impressed us the most wasn't the house. It was his heart. There is a huge difference between someone who watches dogs because it's a job and someone who genuinely loves them like family. Leon is that person. When we picked Chloe and Callie up, they were happy, healthy, relaxed, and obviously well cared for. Every toy, every dog bed, every leash, and every belonging we brought had been neatly packed and waiting for us. Leon greeted us with a huge smile and sincerely told us how happy he was that we had finally been able to get away and enjoy ourselves. That simple statement meant more than he'll probably ever know. Leon didn't just take care of our dogs. He gave us something we thought we had lost forever. He gave us back our trust. Leon may never realize it, but by simply being the caring, compassionate person he is, he helped us take the first step toward healing. Sometimes people change your life without ever knowing they did. If you're reading this because you're nervous about leaving your dog with someone, please know that I completely understand how you feel. I've lived through the nightmare every dog owner fears. That's why I can say this with complete confidence. I trust Leon with Callie and Chloe. For me, there is no greater compliment I could ever give another human being. Leon, thank you for treating our girls like they were your own. Thank you for your kindness, your patience, your communication, and, most importantly, your heart. Because of you, my wife and I were able to begin traveling again after almost two years. You didn't just take care of Callie and Chloe. You gave two people who had forgotten how to trust the confidence to start living again. We'll never forget that. Thank you, Leon. — Ralph & Vivian
