For almost two years, my wife and I didn't take a single vacation. We used to travel six or seven times a year, but that all stopped after a tragedy changed our family forever. Our beloved 14-year-old Labrador Pit Bull mix, Cooper, stayed with a dog sitter we had trusted for nine years. Before we left, Cooper was happy, vibrant, and full of life. Aside from a little arthritis that comes with age, he was healthy. We had been playing with him before leaving for our five-day vacation, and there was absolutely nothing to suggest anything was wrong. When Cooper was dropped off at our home after we returned, we were told everything had gone great. The moment I took him out of the car, I knew something was terribly wrong. He could barely walk. We rushed Cooper to the veterinarian. Two days later, he deteriorated rapidly. We learned he had suffered a severe spinal injury, and on New Year's Eve we had to say goodbye to the glue of our family. Cooper wasn't just our dog. He was the heart of our home. Jesus took wonderful care of my dog Benji while I was away. I really appreciated the frequent updates with photos and videos throughout his stay. Benji can be a little cautious when he meets new people, but Jesus was very patient, caring and made him feel comfortable. It was clear that he received plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I wish that I could give 10 stars to Raymond and his family. My Yorkie,Fiyero became part of the family for the two days he was with the family. Raymond kept me updated and shared photos periodically which gave me peace of mind. I would highly recommend Raymond any day of the week. If you want your family pet to be well cared for in a loving environment,Raymond and his family are the ones to entrust them to. His youngest son and my Fiyero became best buddies right away and his little boy asked if I ever go on vacation again,would I please let Fiyero come stay with him. That was a definite yes!
