Sit and Stay
Hey there, thanks for checking out my page! 🤗 I'm an avid dog lover. I've always had them a part of my family and have over 10+ years dog boarding and training. I'm excited to share that love with your beloved family member while you're away. Currently, I have 2 American Shepherds (3 & 6 years old) and plan on adding more to our pack soon. Our older guys is a reactive boi, who needs lots of TLC, therefore we're very particular about who we bring into the pack. We prefer to care for female dogs, as they tend to bring gentle/ non-competitive energy into the pack. We are extremely selective, but extremely communicative. As a pack, We go on long outdoor hikes 3-4x a week, regardless of weather. So your fur baby can expect the same. We are diligent trainers, and will go to great lengths to ensure our dogs are happy members of the pack. We believe that dogs are their happiest when they are positively challenged and positively rewarded for their hard work. We do this by providing them with "jobs" and "tasks" to complete. It has been our experience that for dogs who struggle with anxiety, the best to mitigate it is through the provision of daily expectations of work, exercise, and play. Therefore, (upon request) in addition to sitting we will provide basic obedience training for your loved one.

Dana is a super reliable dog mom! I was so happy that our dog got tons of love and activity, and I think he really enjoyed spending some time in a pack with other doggos. Will definitely rebook the next time we are away!
Second time having my dog with Dana. My dog always comes back so happy! I’m so glad we stopped taking her to daycare/boarding. Now she gets all the long walks and love that Dana provides! We also get progress videos and pics while away. Trust her with my fur baby. Looking forward to working with her again.
Dana and her family were wonderful. Poppy had a great time getting lots of walks, attention, cuddles and play time. Will definitely come back again!

Programa
In addition to working with dogs, I'm a full-time teacher. During the school year I am up early working out alongside the doggos, who need mental and physical training before a day of R&R. Your pup will love the morning routine with us. After work, (approx 4PM ) we'll usually go for a hike to get that afternoon stretch.

Every guest dog is treated like my own. We work hard to develop bonds with every new pup, so it feels like a second home for them. Our regular doggie clients are members of the pack. We love them and their presence in our home.

Typical day (sept-june) involes 5AM wake up/walk and exercise. Followed by breakfast and rest and relaxation until 4PM when we'll hike as a pack. Summer time is a tad different schedule with more flexible hours, but still have at least 2+ hours of mental and physical training.

- Please let me know if your furbaby has special needs. With the addition of new a pup and toddler, we have been extra selective of the pups we bring into the house. We prefer female dogs who are gentle and non-reactive to puppies, and toddlers. Please consider this when considering us. Everyone's comfort and security is top priority for us.
