About: IMPORTANT NOTES: I screen all pets prior to care to ensure they are in good health and are up to date with their vaccines. Please note that Rover charges sitters a 20% fee to use the platform and my price reflects this. However, they charge owners an additional 11% fee that is calculated when you check out and is not included in my pricing. I run a small business from my home, which means I am able to give all my dog guests ample attention and time. It also allows me more flexibility to serve my customers’ schedules and any emergencies that come up. I live in a semi-suburban area of the Bronx in the first floor of a house with a small yard and a well-secured fenced. It is perfect for the dogs to play in, sniff about or even sunbathe. For safety’s sake, I monitor the dogs anytime they are in the yard. There is an external gate leading to the front door of my house, which I keep shut to prevent any dogs from running out unexpectedly. Finally, out an abundance of caution, I affix Apple airtags to the collars of all my guest dogs. In addition to two extra large crates, my home has The apartment is full of dog beds, including two “dens” in my closets. I also have multiple rooms and dog gates, which allows me to separate dogs if necessary. I ALWAYS feed dogs separately for safety. Pets are allowed on the couch but not on my bed. My shower is equipped for bathing dogs. I have two dog first aid kits (one in the house and a second in the car) and am familiar with dog first aid and CPR. I have extra pet seatbelts, harnesses if transportation is required, as well as extra collars and leashes for walks.

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and developed a sense of understanding a dogs behavior and body language. Friends and family have always rely on me because they know I am great at meeting a dogs needs and dependable when needed. I am home several days of the week and have time for walks, playtime, and belly rubs. I’m also available on the weekends where I can provide consistent check ins, and walks. About: My love of dogs led me to start a dog walking business when I was only 10 yrs old. Once I finally convinced my parents to get a dog, I was 15 and we ended up with two bichon-malteses who were the loves of my life. As an adult, my career has me traveling frequently so I haven’t become a pet owner, but I continue to dogsit for friends and neighbors because I love the companionship when I’m home. About: I’ve had welcomed my first pet ever when I was 10 years old , then in 2012 I’ve have welcome another fur baby to the family . Being around my own personal pets made me love doing dog sitting a lot more so starting in 2013 I’ve decided to volunteer and also become employed with the services of onboarding , dog walking , etc . I love doing my job when it comes to pets because I think of them as my own. I am currently working Monday - Friday but my schedule is also very flexible. I work in retail and the service industry so I would love to transition out of that soon as hour can be short or sparse this time of year and build my photography business. Taking care of pets and having pet models for my portfolio would be great as well as the time to be active and have fun as I focus on building these foundational skills. I’ve already done the hectic schedule of chasing shifts downtown for the last 2 years so if I could have slower days and have clients closer to me that would be great. To me a very successful play session involves observing the pet where they are,and how they interact because I am a guest in their space firstly, and giving them attention and love is my first priority. I don’t care that I may start out at a Lower rate or XYNZ is out of my pay grade. I’m not leaving a fecal mess or putting my headphones on, and turning Netflix and putting my feet up during a session because I can . The TV will always be there but the emotions and potential reactive response of a pet that might start biting plants or getting into stuff they shouldn’t —can lead to a permanent result. I want the pets I care to stay interested or at least rest and feel comfortable in their space and know that some one is there to feed them and respond to their needs or at least be willing to figure out what they need and not dismiss them. I have been trained by another company called Big City Wolf on proper dog handling and plan to get my animal CPR training this March and apply to work at the new ACS center in Coop city .
