I work primarily in film and production, but those jobs never overlap with my pet care bookings. My schedule is very flexible, so I’m able to fully commit to the pets in my care — including long stays, early mornings, and pets with specific needs.

I provide care primarily in my clients’ homes, with a focus on overnight stays. I don’t offer boarding, but I do take on drop-ins and walks when my schedule allows. I follow each pet’s routine closely, whether that’s feeding schedules, playtime, medication, or quiet companionship. I keep pets engaged, energized, and comfortable — especially during longer stays.

I don’t expect pets to be perfect, so it’s helpful to know about any behavioral quirks up front — things like reactivity, separation anxiety, or even something as common as humping. I also need to know about any medications, routines, or how they interact with other animals. No quirk or “flaw” is ever embarrassing for me 😊 — I’ve seen it all, and I just want to make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and understood.
A typical day
It really depends on the pet’s personality and the owner’s preferences. Some pets just want a walk, a meal, and some quiet time — and that’s totally fine! If a dog park is nearby and part of their routine, I’m happy to take them there (as long as it’s within walking distance). I also love playing fetch in the yard or backyard if that’s something they enjoy. My goal is to keep them happy and comfortable in a way that works for them.

All my life I’ve lived with dogs. I’ve always felt having an animal in your life is so beneficial. Especially a dog. I mostly had pitbulls and at one point I owned a beagle. You are never to old or to young to benefit from having a dog. For so many children a dog is their first real responsibility growing up. They are more than just a pet they become part of the family. Besides my personal experience my professional experience includes dogsitting and assistant dog bather for a mobile dog grooming truck. I love playing with them and bonding with dogs as well as getting to know more about their personalities. Dogs are so unique in their own special way. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry loved one.

This is our second time rebooking Tenielle. Tenielle house sat for us for three weeks (we were getting married and going on honeymoon) and Tenielle was so responsive in taking our dog Sal out for walks, she sent pictures and kept us updated on her the whole time! We unexpectedly missed our flight and supposed to come home but had to stay an extra day and Tenielle was able to stay for one more day, which we were so grateful for. She tided up before she left and I highly recommend Tenielle as your dog sitter! Thank you Tenielle!!

Tenielle was fantastic! She was more than willing to come to my house a week or so ahead of time to familiarize herself with my dogs, their routine and my house. She wasn’t afraid to ask questions if something was unclear or if I forgot to bring something up. She sent us updates and pictures when we were away. When we returned, our house looked exactly as it did when we left. My dogs were extremely relaxed and happy when we got home. I would highly recommend Tenielle. We will definitely be calling her again!
