Information Matthew M. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I appreciate knowing their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite toys and activities, and any commands they respond to. It's also helpful to know about any medical conditions, medications, allergies, behavioral quirks, fears (such as loud noises or other dogs), and whether they're comfortable around children, strangers, or other animals. I also like to know what helps your pet feel most at ease—whether that's a favorite blanket, treat, walking route, or bedtime routine. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide personalized care and keep your pet's routine as consistent and stress-free as possible while you're away.
A typical day
Every pet has a different personality, so I like to tailor activities to their energy level, age, and routine. For active dogs, I enjoy long walks through local parks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and incorporating basic training games that keep them mentally engaged. For lower-energy or senior pets, I focus on relaxed walks, gentle play, plenty of affection, and maintaining their normal routine.

Reviews

Soshi absolutely adored her stay with Matthew! He is highly communicative and sent pictures throughout her stay. I completely forgot dog poop bags and he had them at home. He also let me know that another dog might come by (family) and his breed and temperament and if I think they would be ok or should be separated. My dog is pretty easygoing, but I appreciated the extra steps Matthew took to make me feel at ease. My dog did NOT want to leave the next morning! It feels great to know there is someone reliable nearby to watch my pup. He also put on Bluey for her in the evening! 10/10 experience and will be back for sure.
