“Alexandra is wonderful! Our dog loves her, and is always excited to see her. Alexandra has been great at taking intros slow and working with us to get our dog used to her entering the house when we are not home. Her calm demeanor and patience are perfect for an anxious pup.”

About: I have extensive experience caring for a wide variety of pets—dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles, and more! From walking and feeding to bathing and overnight sitting, I’ve been the trusted go-to for family, friends, and neighbors. I truly believe animals bring a special kind of peace, and in return, I give them all the love, attention, and care they deserve. Your pet will be in safe, loving hands while you’re away, so you can relax knowing they’re well cared for. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting throughout the week, including weekends. I make sure each pet receives consistent care, playtime, exercise, and companionship while following their normal routine as closely as possible. I approach caring for pets with love, patience, and a deep understanding of their individual needs. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize creating a comfortable and stress-free environment. I make sure to stick to their usual routines—feeding, walking, and playtime—so they feel secure and at ease. If I’m in your home, I ensure everything remains as you left it, with added attention to your pet’s safety and well-being. In my home, I provide a cozy, safe space where your pet will get plenty of affection and care. My goal is for your pet to feel like they’re with family, wherever they are.
“Emmily is fantastic. She was on time, super friendly, and took great care of Jake. We received pictures and a full report on his time with her. Would highly recommend her!”

“Abhi did a great job taking care of our cats while we were away. He was reliable, communicative, and we came home to happy cats and appreciated the updates. Highly recommend him for anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter!”

About: I offer dog walking and pet sitting. I currently own a 90-pound Sheepadoodle and a 50-pound Labradoodle, so I am very comfortable handling large dogs. I raised both of mine from when they were puppies, so I am great with energetic dogs and training routines. I also have experience with elderly dogs, as my previous two dogs were Goldendoodles who both lived to be 16. I generally work Monday through Friday from around 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, so I am fully available for morning and evening care. I am also free on weekends, as well as for overnight sitting in your home. I focus entirely on routine and comfort for your dog when sitting in your home. I make sure to strictly follow your feeding and walking schedules. I also am diligent with the daily photo updates so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and doing great. Additionally, I always do a quick pre-screen chat first to talk about your routine, rules, and wishes for your pet.
“Maria took excellent care of our cat for a week, 2 visits a day. She was there like clockwork - and sent us photos, which we loved. I appreciated how communicative she was, especially with a snowstorm coming. Would 100 % use her again.”

“Your search is OVER !!!!! Karen is the person you need to take car of your cat. She was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and very very sweet. We received daily photos and a detailed description of how our cat was. We will definitely be asking for Karen’s help again in caring for our cat !!!!!”

“Belkys is absolutely wonderful! She provides thoughtful and considerate care for our two Siberian cats, and it’s great to know they’re in good hands while we are away.”

“Elisa was a wonderful sitter for our two kitties. I greatly appreciated the extra effort she took to work with us when our schedule changed due to bad weather. And I know Jack enjoyed getting a little play time!”

About: I use to work at a Doggie Hotel. I worked in the kennel area and use to manage the cleaning as well as the food distribution for every dog in the facility. I love taking care of my neighbors pets while they are away for vacation. I'm very hands on when it comes to puppies and training, I've done similar things at my last job as a kennel worker/day care dog counselor. I own 2 bearded dragon and take care of my parents dog from time to time! I make sure to give them special attention everyday. I make sure that each animal gets love and attention every hour of the day! I make sure that they have eaten, and if not I try to encourage, and make sure they are mentally stimulated with some play time! I also like to incorporate exercise when playing!
“Angus and Elphaba loved their visits with Corrine! She was responsive and professional. Would highly recommend for someone looking for help with their furry friends.”

About: I’m attentive to their body language, personality, energy level, and individual routine rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperaments, and I take safety and communication seriously. I raised three puppies over 10 years and had a senior dog too. Not intimidated by size. I have 10 years of experience caring for dogs -including my own- and genuinely enjoy making time for them. My schedule gives me flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and sitting. I’m happy to work with each pet’s individual routine, whether they need lots of exercise, helicopter supervision, or just company. Safety and comfort always come first. I understand that every dog has a different personality, routine, and preferences. I follow your instructions carefully, keep a close eye on your pet, and make sure they receive plenty of attention and affection. I do not take lightly being entrusted to care for your family. I’m also happy to maintain their normal feeding, medication, potty, and sleeping routines so they feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away and give you peace of mind.

“Jacqueline is not five but six stars! She truly goes above and beyond! She’s not only reliable—sticking to our schedule perfectly for 10 days, even on Christmas, or during a snowstorm, and freezing cold—but also a sweet, pleasant person to deal with. Her excellent communication, updates, and heartwarming cat photos eased our anxiety as first-time users leaving our fur babies. She’s now “our” cat sitter. Highly recommend her! Thank you from the heart.”

About: I am a dog mom who believes that the dogs are our greatest companions and deserve the best! I will treat your dog with utmost respect, care, and love. I currently work remotely on a part-time basis which affords me the flexibility to be available to care for your pet/pets. I have a car so I can easily get to/from your home. I am very responsible, considerate and respectful. I will care for your pet as if it were my own. I will provide your pet with plenty of exercise, attention and love if there are any special requests, I can also accommodate those.
About: I have had dogs my whole life, from pittys to shih tzus. I also worked at a dog daycare facility for about 2 years. I’ve also watched friends and families dogs and cats throughout the years, I figured I would extend my network further on Rover! Excited to watch your loved one next! I work from home on Mondays and Fridays and available before or after my 9-5 Tuesday-Thursdays. I am lucky to be a morning person, and have my own car for ease of access. I always care for others homes like my own, even better at times. I also love to leave the space better than I found it. I am grateful for the trust you leave with me for your fur baby and your home.

About: I provide calm, attentive pet care for dogs and cats who are happiest with plenty of individual attention and a familiar routine. I grew up around animals and have cared for pets for family and clients on both sides of the Atlantic. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person looking after your pet and, for house sitting, your home. For boarding and daycare, I offer a quiet home environment in White Plains with a large fenced yard and no pets of my own. I keep bookings intentionally limited, which means your dog is not entering a busy home full of unfamiliar animals. I especially enjoy caring for dogs who are very attached to their people, a little anxious in new environments, older, or simply happiest with more personal attention. I work from home and genuinely enjoy having a dog as part of my day. Depending on their personality and routine, that might mean long walks, time in the yard, play, lounging around the house, or simply having someone nearby. I follow each pet’s normal feeding, exercise, medication, and sleep routines as closely as possible because I believe good pet care should feel familiar to them, not like their entire life has suddenly changed because their people went away. I also offer in home pet and house sitting for animals who are most comfortable staying in their own space. I treat every home with respect and keep pets on the routines they know, whether that means a 7 AM walk, medication at a specific time, or a cat who has very strong opinions about where dinner should be served. My background is in hospitality and event management, so reliability, organization, and communication are second nature to me. You can expect regular photos and updates, clear communication, and someone who takes the responsibility of caring for your pet seriously. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal as an individual. Some want adventures. Some want the yard. Some want to spend the entire afternoon attached to your hip. I’m very happy to accommodate all three. 🐾 I work from home with a flexible schedule, so pet care fits naturally into my day rather than being squeezed in around a traditional office job. I keep my bookings intentionally limited so I can give each pet plenty of individual attention and build my day around their normal routine. Depending on the pet, that might include morning and evening walks, midday yard time, play, meals, medication, or simply plenty of company throughout the day. I’m home for much of the day and can accommodate dogs who enjoy being close to their person, while still following whatever routine they are accustomed to at home. My goal is to make their time with me feel relaxed, predictable, and genuinely enjoyable. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or theirs, I take the responsibility seriously. I follow feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, and any household instructions carefully, while also paying attention to the individual animal in front of me. At my home in White Plains, dogs have a calm environment, a large fenced yard, and no resident pets to navigate. I keep bookings intentionally limited and make sure gates and doors are secure before any outdoor time. I also follow each owner’s instructions around walks, sleeping arrangements, feeding, crating, and how long their pet can comfortably be left alone. For house sitting, I treat your home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. I keep things tidy, maintain your pet’s familiar routine, and send regular photos and updates so you can actually enjoy your time away without wondering what is happening back home. Before a first booking, I like to learn about each pet’s routine, personality, health needs, triggers, and emergency contacts so I can provide care that feels both safe and personal.
About: I have experience with petsitting very anxious dogs, pets with special needs, and pets who need more attention than most. Just let me know ahead of time if your dog barks at everything so I can be prepared to soothe them. I'm pretty flexible with most pets! I'm available 24/7 in Westchester, NY. I need something to do to keep me busy since I don't have much of a schedule at the moment. Let me know if your pet has any special needs or preferences. Please bring toys or anything else your pet uses daily. I'm pretty flexible and I can sort out the rest of anything.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Scarsdale
Youjin is the best in the neighborhood! My dog was so well taken care of, and I could tell he was happy and comfortable with her. She was caring, reliable, and kept me updated during each visit. I’m so glad I found her and would definitely book with her again!

I’ve only had one experience with Janelle so far but I know/hope there will be more. I reached out very last minute (two days before needing help) and she responded right away, was able to make a FaceTime meet & greet and my puppy loved her. She was lovely to work with and I felt like my little 3 month old guy was in great loving hands.

Bruna took great care of our dog, Daphne, and made our first experience hiring a dog walker a fantastic one. She was reliable, communicative, and gave us peace of mind while we were away. Daphne was happy and well cared for, and it was clear she was in great hands. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Bruna again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pet!

Cynthia is the best pet sitter I’ve ever had. She is incredibly reliable, caring, and communicative throughout the entire stay. She truly went above and beyond for my dog Albert. Albert is on five different medications, and Cynthia handled his medication schedule perfectly. During a weekend heat wave, she even came back to turn on the A/C to make sure my pets stayed comfortable. Albert was so happy and relaxed when I got home, which gave me complete peace of mind. I would absolutely book with Cynthia again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and compassionate pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
