About: I have a Scottish Terrier at home and I've had her for 5 years now. Over the years we've hosted numerous dogs, giving me hands-on experience with various breeds and temperaments. Additionally, I run a pet care brand (Modern Kindred), which has motivated me to study pet biology and behavior for the last 3 years. This combination of personal experience and professional knowledge allows me to provide informed, compassionate care tailored to each pet's unique needs. I work from home running my pet wipes brand, so I'm available throughout the day. I only make trips to the post office once a day, but otherwise I'm home with my dog (who is energetic and loves playing with other dogs). This means I can provide consistent attention and supervision for any pets in my care. I create a safe environment by removing any objects that dogs could chew on and only providing durable, indestructible toys with no loose pieces. I always supervise dogs closely and stay in the same room with them to ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times.

About: I started walking dogs when I was 15, two dogs every night and ended up knowing half the complex’s pets by name. Ten years of that teaches you a lot. Every dog is different and that’s genuinely my favorite part. Some are anxious and just need patience and consistency to come out of their shell. Some stop to sniff everything on the sidewalk and I let them take their time. It’s their walk. I’m easy to work with, I communicate well, and I take the dogs in my care seriously. I’m available weekdays and I prefer recurring schedules because dogs do better with routine, and so do their owners. If you’re looking for someone reliable who’s actually going to pay attention to your dog, I’d love to help. Weekdays, daytime. I’m happy to set up a recurring schedule and honestly prefer it. Dogs thrive on routine and it makes things easier for everyone. I pay attention. On every walk I’m aware of what’s around us, how your dog is feeling, and what they need in that moment. I've been pet parent to dogs of all sizes, from Chihuahuas to Great Danes to my current Sheepadoodle — there's no dog size or personality that's too much or too little, IMHO. And my experience extends well beyond dogs — cats, snakes, farm animals 🐐, and more. I also happen to share my home with a ball python named Fettuccine Alfredo 🐍, who is a distinguished, low-drama fellow. As a plant parent, I will watch after yours indoor jungles, outdoor gardens, that one fiddle leaf fig you're nervous about. If you need someone who will actually look at your monstera and not just splash water in its general direction, that's me. (My avocado tree, grown from a pit, is thriving. I'm not taking questions.) Pet care fits naturally into the rhythm of my week. My mornings are consistently free, which works well for walks and drop-in visits, and I have flexibility on Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends for longer stays or housesitting. On days when I'm teaching in the afternoons and evenings, I'm still available in the mornings — and I keep my schedule intentionally manageable so I'm never stretched too thin across clients. This isn't something I'm squeezing in around a packed schedule — it's something I've made genuine room for. When I'm in your home for drop-in visits or housesitting, I treat it with the same care and attention I'd give my own. That means following your routines exactly as you've set them, keeping things tidy, and making sure your pets are comfortable and unstressed in their own environment. I take detailed notes at meet-and-greets so nothing gets missed while you're away. On walks, I keep dogs leashed and attentive to their individual energy and needs — a reactive dog gets a very different walk than a social butterfly, and I know the difference. I bring over thirty years of animal experience to reading body language and behavior, so I'm not caught off guard by much. My own home includes a ball python and two cats, so I'm well practiced in managing a multi-species household safely and calmly. I don't offer boarding, which means your dog's visit to my home would only ever be for a meet-and-greet in a low-key, relaxed setting. In any situation that feels off — health, behavior, anything — I err on the side of contacting you immediately and getting to a vet if needed. You'll never be left guessing.

About: Apart from having pets of my own, I've cared for several pets while their owners were away. I absolutely love befriending new animals. I walk dogs in my neighborhood quite frequently. I'm capable of handling animals of all sizes and I'm open to handling dogs who aren't so friendly. Pet care for me is a part time job so I have a lot of time to care for your furry friends! I'm very flexible with my time, so most times work for me. I have fully functioning air conditioning in all rooms in my house, so your pets will never suffer any heat detriment. I also have a friendly dog named popcorn to keep your dog company. I also have a small dog pool if your dog is a water lover as well.

About: I recently moved to Westchester to work as a Trainee Guide Dog Trainer for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. I have been around dogs my whole life; I graduated from The Ohio State University in May 2024 with a degree in Animal Science. Due to my full time work with Guiding Eyes, I am primarily available on weekends or weekday evenings/nights to take care of your furry family members. I treat all pets as if they were my own; I will do everything in my power to make your pups comfortable in your absence. Your pet’s safety and comfort is my top priority!

About: I’ve lived with very large to very small dogs all my life and care for exotic pets such as snakes and rabbits. Through waitressing and EMS volunteering, I’ve developed a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility that will make me an excellent pet care worker. I currently go to school full time at Harrison high school until 3 pm on weekdays, but will have full availability on weekdays and weekends over the summer. I can currently work all day on weekends and every day after school on weekdays. About: Hi there! I've been surrounded by animals since I was a little boy and I've never stopped loving them since! I've had 9 cats and 3 dogs throughout my life with my family, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I volunteered all 4 years during high school at animal shelters to care for stray/abandoned cats and dogs. All animals bring so much joy to my heart, although I don't have kids of my own yet - I care for all animals as if they were my own children. If your furry friend needs a little TLC grooming or medication, I am more than happy to ensure they are on schedule. I've cared for all sorts of breeds, temperaments, and administered medication through syringes, supplements, and eye drops, and variation of applicators. Over the course of my business I've dealt with a variety of breeds that have needed alot of TLC - dogs with seizures, diabetes, bowel issues, loss of an eye, severe anxiety disorder, dogs that needed alot of nurture and luv. One day, her clients' sitter bailed on them right before departing on a back to back cruise for 21 days, and they had no one to watch their dog. Almost canceling their entire trip. I've never canceled on a client due to being sick or anything. I take care of your home as well as look after your pup. I'm in my 40's. Very responsible, have a lot of references and all of my clients are repeats I also watch Westminister Championship dogs, Purebred cats,and Exotic animals. I have attended to dogs with special needs and was able to catch a new onset seizure by paying attention to signs and detail- and quickly got the dog immediate and proper care. About: I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with all of the patience and love to give both humans and animals. I have much more of a flexible schedule in the summer months so I can provide more services, including drop-in visits and walks. I I have had pets, both dogs and cats, my whole life and will treat your furry friend as I would my own. I understand that it is difficult to trust another person to take care of your pet and I can only assure you that I will keep your fur baby safe and sound while having fun at the same time. I promise to give your pet whatever it needs to be the happy and loved animal that I am sure you already make it. I can be available for walks and drop-ins from June to the end of August on most weekday mornings and afternoons, as well as weekends with some advanced notice. I am available to provide walks and drop-in visits for both cats and dogs, providing them with a bathroom break, fresh food and water, and lots of ear scratches :)

About: I’ve had experience with larger breeds. I had an Airedale terrier growing up and had a large golden doodle who was almost 100 pounds so I’m a big fan of big dogs! I’m able to walk larger dogs with ease and have experience with food sensitive dogs as my doodle was allergic to just about everything. I’m available to do dog sitting pretty much whenever. I work from home full time so I am able to provide a lot of attention to any of my dog guests who stay with me and my husband. Dog walking I’m available most evenings and weekends with access to dog parks in my area if you are comfortable with me bringing your buddy there to play! I’m passionate about dogs and would love to use some extra time caring and tending to them! I’m new to caring for others dogs but not new to loving them - thanks for considering me to care for your best friend! I work from home full time so any dog that stays with me is a huge part of my schedule and routine! I can provide lots of daily walks and special attention for those who need a little extra love!
