About: I have been pet sitting and caring for friends pets since high school. I have taken care of cats, dogs and bunnies. I would love to help take care of your pets! I am available for mornings and afternoons. I work on a shift schedule right so my hours do change but that also means I have a lot of flexibility! I am a very patient person and will always do my best to sense the animals needs. I will let them come to me so they know they are in a safe space. I will follow the instructions left for me by the pets owner.
“Tara’s the best! Always takes great care of our fur babies. We had a family emergency and needed our pets taken care of. She helped us out last minute. She’s always reliable. Thanks Tara!”

About: I've always had cats and I've had a dog for the past 3 years. I volunteer at Paws Crossed with my daughter, where we walk dogs and socialize cats. I have a flexible schedule, but need advance notice in order to coordinate other activities. In home pet sitting in lower Westchester is easier for me. I have a fenced in yard and crates. At a client's home, I enjoy going for walks, and playing inside and outside with the dog.
“Lori did such a great job dropping in on my cat while I was away. Quick to respond and always kept me updated. I will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

“Grace has been a tremendous help with taking care of Bianca. She is always punctual, reliable, and great at communicating. We feel very fortunate to have found someone as kind, caring, and trustworthy as Grace. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pet.”

“Shawn is super thoughtful!!! He took the time to come visit the cats ahead of sitting to make sure we all get comfortable. He also takes the time to check in with you when unsure about the cats needs or behaviors, that was hugely appreciated! I will definitely reach out and o Shawn next time.”

“Marion watched out kitty when we went out of town for 10 days. She was an excellent communicator and kept us up to date on all of our cats needs. He came to live time with her when she came over. She was also punctual and communicated when timing needed to shift slightly. All in all a very positive experience for us and our kitty of course.”

About: Hello my name is Jose but I rather be called JC. I’ve been a dog walker for 5 years now. I have two dogs so I know how to deal with more than one dog while walking around. I usually walk around my dogs around riverside or central park cause it open and has a lot of fresh air. I’m not used to house sitting but I'm willing to but a week in advance. I'm also not used to taking care of cats but if needed I will take care of only hypoallergenic cats. (just in case I'm allergic) I love animals of all shape and sizes and I'm looking forward to anyone that is looking for my services. 3 word to best describe me will be responsible, reliable, and punctual.
“We had a great experience with [Name] caring for our cats. She took the time to play with our very antsy cat and gave our shy, scaredy cat the space she needed, exactly as we requested. It was clear that she paid attention to each cat’s personality and needs. She was also very thoughtful about the little details, including rinsing out their food bowls so there were no lingering smells and making sure their medication was given with their food. We appreciated how attentive and caring she was while looking after our cats. We would definitely feel comfortable having her care for them again!”

“I honestly love your visits and from the start I could see that Fumacinha remembered you and was comfortable. Thank you for taking the time to walk him in the visit and be so kind to him. It makes a difference and I always feel at ease even traveling. Thank you”

“MaryAnn was wonderful! She took great care of our older cat while we were on vacation and sent regular updates on how he was doing. We’d definitely recommend MaryAnn!”

“Kathryn was wonderful with my kittens while I was away on vacation! She was so friendly, reliable, and easy to communicate with from the very beginning, which immediately made me feel comfortable leaving them in her care. I especially appreciated how much time she spent with them during each visit. She didn’t just come by to feed them and leave—she actually spent time playing with them, giving them attention, and making sure they were taken care of. It made being away from them so much easier knowing they were getting plenty of love and weren't just being left alone. Kathryn sent me lots of adorable pictures, which I looked forward to getting every day! She followed all of the instructions I left and was very attentive to everything the kittens needed. It was clear from the way she interacted with them that she truly loves animals and cares about the pets she watches. I would absolutely have Kathryn watch my kittens again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter. Knowing that they were with someone who was giving them genuine attention and affection gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I’m so happy we found her!”

About: I’m a huge fan of both cats and dogs and will happily provide the walks, playtime, cuddles, belly rubs, and attention they demand. I love getting to know each pet’s personality—whether they’re a zoomie champion, a professional napper, or a little shy. My work is flexible and can host your pets for long term care. I would be honored to give your fur babies plenty of love and attention while you’re away. I work full-time, but only live two minutes away. I will be able to attend to your pets practically anytime of the day. I currently don't have any other pets staying with me so your babies will have my undivided attention. I live on a large private property with lots of land and space for needed outside time. I live in a small apartment but still plenty of space to comfortable moving.
“Colleen is simply the best!! She took care of my cat for 5 days while I was out of state. She was very communicative and let me know each time when she arrived. She also provided a little note and photos each visit which I truly appreciate. I felt so relieved knowing my cat was happy and doing okay! I highly recommend Colleen and I will definitely be using her again in the future.”

“absolutely loved having catie as our cat sitter! She was amazing with our cat Charlotte — patient, gentle, and very caring. She sent us daily updates, which truly gave us peace of mind during our trip. Charlotte can be shy, but she slowly warmed up to her, and that meant the world to us. We felt completely confident and happy knowing Charlotte was in such good hands. Thank you so much for everything — we would definitely book with you again!”

About: Since a very young age taking care of animals have been a passion of mine. Always trying to rescue and adopt all the doggies and kitties off the streets and helping them with anything I could. I currently work in an animal hospital as a veterinary nurse and I take care and treat pets on a daily basis. I can handle pets of various sizes and temperaments, is all about making them feel safe and comfortable. Making sure they get the respect love and care they deserve is my priority. I’m very passionate about pets and love them and care for them as if they were my own. I currently work full time at an animal hospital. When it comes to boarding doggies I’ll take them to work with me during the day and during the night they will be at my home. My days off they will be free around the house under supervision. At work they will be in a room or cage according to their size but they get to go out at least 3 times a day while I do my work shift. We have a yard in the animal hospital and they get to run and play. Once I’m home I have a semi fenced yard and they get to play and run some more under supervision. I have cats in my home so during the night the doggies will have to sleep in a crate for safety reasons.
“Andrew takes great care of our 2 cats. He always replies quickly, was very thoughtful during our meet and when taking care of our cats. We have been away with peace of mind thanks to him”

“Selina was wonderful! I appreciated her detailed updates and cute photos and videos. My cat clearly loved her which is always a huge relief. I would definitely book again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Ardsley
Tamette and Ahn were wonderful with Daisy when they stopped by to meet her for the first time before we were going to be away. They were gentle and patient with her and she warmed up to them quickly. Tamette let me know how it went in detail when I asked, which I really appreciated. We would definitely use her again, and hope to leave Daisy with Tamette and Ahn at their home when we go away for a week in January.

Bruna took great care of our dog, Daphne, and made our first experience hiring a dog walker a fantastic one. She was reliable, communicative, and gave us peace of mind while we were away. Daphne was happy and well cared for, and it was clear she was in great hands. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Bruna again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pet!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
