About: I grew up with and have raised dogs my whole life, so I naturally know how to handle everything from high-energy puppies to calm seniors. Since I don't have any pets of my own right now, I have plenty of extra energy to focus entirely on your pet during our time together. I have a very calm presence that pets naturally love, and whether we are going for a long exercise hike or a quick potty break, I’ll make sure your pet stays safe, happy, and well-exercised. I'm a current graduate student who is available most of the day and weekends if needed. Mondays and Tuesdays, I have class from 6 pm - 10 pm so I am not available then. Whether I am walking your dog or checking in on them at your house, their safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities. I am extremely responsible with house keys and security, and I always make sure doors and gates are double-locked before I leave. Since I grew up with dogs, I’m very alert to my surroundings and keep a close eye on body language to avoid any stressful situations with other animals or traffic. I also love sending plenty of photo updates so you can see exactly how much fun your pup is having while staying safe and well-cared for.
“Tamette and Ahn were wonderful with Daisy when they stopped by to meet her for the first time before we were going to be away. They were gentle and patient with her and she warmed up to them quickly. Tamette let me know how it went in detail when I asked, which I really appreciated. We would definitely use her again, and hope to leave Daisy with Tamette and Ahn at their home when we go away for a week in January.”

“Alyssa is friendly, responsive, and easy to work with! She was EXCELLENT with our rabbit while we were away and communicated very thoroughly throughout the booking. He clearly enjoyed their visits and we can’t wait to rebook with her again soon!”

“Sophie was great! We are very grateful to have found her in the app and booked with her. She is very reliable and provided prompt pictures and reports about our Bagel while we were away. We will definitely book with her again in our future time away. Thank you Sophie!”

“Becky kindly stopped in to take care of our two silly doodles while we were out for the night. She was on time, and left us an update, some cute photos, and two happy dogs when we returned! Thank you.”

About: I have been pet sitting and caring for friends pets since high school. I have taken care of cats, dogs and bunnies. I would love to help take care of your pets! I am available for mornings and afternoons. I work on a shift schedule right so my hours do change but that also means I have a lot of flexibility! About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 17 years. Besides raising my own dogs, I’ve also cared for friends’ dogs for stays ranging from one week to two months. My Goldendoodle loves making new dog friends, and many of our guests have become his best buddies. I work from home most of the week, so I have plenty of time to care for dogs throughout the day. They get regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention, and are rarely left alone. I have fenced yard where my dog loves to play fetch. I usually let my dog out around 8am to play until 9am. All the dogs are welcome to join to play together!

About: Hi there! I've been surrounded by animals since I was a little boy and I've never stopped loving them since! I've had 9 cats and 3 dogs throughout my life with my family, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I volunteered all 4 years during high school at animal shelters to care for stray/abandoned cats and dogs. All animals bring so much joy to my heart, although I don't have kids of my own yet - I care for all animals as if they were my own children. If your furry friend needs a little TLC grooming or medication, I am more than happy to ensure they are on schedule. I have a private home in Bayside, if needed more space it can be utilized (w/ fenced yard). Please message me to arrange any bookings, I always do my best to be flexible with all my clients. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!
About: Hi all! My name is Lily, and I am finishing up a marine studies degree with an anthropology minor. The things I love the most in the world are animals and children. Most of my previous jobs have been babysitting as well as house and petsitting. For petsitting, I had stayed the night with cats and dogs, just stopped in for feedings, litter box changes, walks, and anything else that could be needed! I have also worked five summers as a camp counselor. After two summers at a regular camp, I got hired to work as a counselor at a nature center near my home town. Here I learned husbandry skills and behaviors of creatures from ferrets, to sulcata tortoises and lizards, to chickens and goats. I am currently an online student and I have asynchronous classes. I have a lot of availability during the week and weekends. I’m sure I will have the time to help out your pets! As of now I am living at home with family. I have boarded friends’ dogs and rabbits before, but I do prefer housesitting or house visits. Our home is currently pet free though, so if boarding is your preferred option please contact me and maybe we can work it out!
About: I've been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 8 years old! I began dog sitting in my own house when I was in high school. I am able to take care of cats and dogs that need pills but not injections. I do work full time throughout the week from 8 am to 5 pm with some wiggle room. I take 1 hour lunch breaks so if a client is near and a pup needs a walk or to be checked on I have the ability for a midday walk/visit. Pre and post work my own pup gets a long walk. I am free all day on the weekends which often means a trip to the dog park or a walk on the trails. I have a back yard for leash walks and so fresh air is an option. If a pet is staying over they have the opportunity to stay in their crate or wherever they choose to sleep! My floors are mostly tile so incase of an accident all is good!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
