About: We've had 2 puppies come into our home since 2013 and I have LOVED loving them & being loved by them more than anything in the world. I was one of those kids who wanted a dog more than anything else growing up and to finally have had a puppy was the best day of my life! However, I have been a student in the area for a few years now and have been missing having a pet to share my love with. Though this is my first time as an official pet caretaker, I have cared for my own dogs as well as many of the dogs in our family as if they are my own throughout the years. I’m a medical student with senioritis so I will be pretty flexible in the coming months! I will most often be available for early mornings, evenings, and weekends, unless I am traveling or working a busy schedule that week! I do not have a yard or ability to care for pets in my home as it is not pet-friendly; however, I am in close proximity to the parks of Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow!

About: Dog sitting has become the best full time job here! I have never been paid to dog walk/sit and only have purely out of love for all animals. I started volunteering for family friends and neighbors at a young age and will never say no to hanging out with a furry friend. No size or breed scare me - all are welcome (: Boarding - I am home everyday and have full availability to watch and care for pups. Yard is moderately sized and property is pretty private with our only 3 neighbors all across the street. I have many repeated clients outside of rover and we’re constantly rotating dogs so expect your pup to make furry friends during their stay! For walks - my schedule is extremely flexible at the moment, preferably mornings and late afternoons. Tuesday and Wednesday evenings are not ideal but can possibly work. Sunday mornings do not work. I have a mini goldendoodle living in my studio apartment. She is shy but warms up quickly to new pups. My apartment is the lower half of my dad’s house in a private wooded area on a hill overlooking the Hudson River. I am a free range sitter so pups are allowed on sofa and bed unless I’m given specific instructions which I happily will follow.

About: I have always been a pet person. I’ve lived my whole life always having a pet. Whether that’s dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, or even fish! I love all animals and have even done wildlife rehab rescues. I’ve had experience dog sitting as well as dog walking. I know that every dog is different so I adjust to every pets needs, no two dogs are the same and every one is special in their own way :) My schedule is pretty flexible as I do a lot of remote work. I do take some classes in the city at night but easily commute! Weekdays i'm available in the mornings and afternoons till however late is necessary. Weekends my schedule is practically wide open! My personal at home routine with my animals includes walks, food, water, play time,and anything in between! I have a large fenced in yard that my dog loves to run around in! I have a car too if any transport is needed, equipped with safety for dogs in the car! When I take dogs for walks I always bring a travel water bottle for them as well as snacks! I place a huge importance on dogs safety and health so on walks I will always go with the dogs pace and never push them past their limits, on really hot days we will stop for shade and water breaks!

About: Hi there! I can’t wait to welcome your pet into my home. Dogs and cats who stay here are treated like guests of honor, with all the care and attention I bestow upon my own pets. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, pets are allowed to roam freely in a cozy, familiar home environment — no rows of kenneled dogs here! I’m very selective about the pets I accept. I usually only accept a maximum of 3-4 dogs at once. I meet every new pet before booking, and I usually won’t accept more than one new dog at a time, alongside repeat clients. This ensures that I’m familiar with how all the dogs will interact with each other, with only one new variable, thus avoiding potentially uncomfortable or dangerous situations for your pet. I’ve always loved animals, and with more than 15 years of pet care under my belt, I have the knowledge and experience to provide your pets with the best care possible. I take the responsibility of caring for your pets very seriously, and I’m certified by the American Red Cross in Cat and Dog First Aid. Earliest drop off or pickup is at 8 am. Latest drop off or pickup is at 8 pm on weekdays, 9 pm on weekends. I’m also available for drop-ins at your home, every day except Saturday mornings. (I’m available Saturday evenings instead.) For Dogs: I have a large, unfenced backyard that dogs love exploring on a 50-foot long leash - so many scents to sniff and chipmunks to chase! I’m always there to monitor them - dogs are never left alone outdoors. Water is always available, and I work from home so I’m around the majority of the day to keep them happy and safe. What you’ll need to send: Their regular food is the most important thing to send, as dogs can get upset stomach from sudden dietary changes. You can also send their favorite treats, and a favorite toy. If they tend to pull on the leash, a front-latch harness, rubber-tipped prong collar, or gentle leader is appreciated. Bowls, beds, brushes, litter bags etc. are all unnecessary, as I have extras of all these supplies. For puppies, a crate may be necessary, depending on their level of potty training. For Cats: The cats have a comfy lounge downstairs, with food, water, litter boxes, and scratching posts. The dogs are not allowed downstairs, so the cats can get all the space they need from the dogs. The cats are free to move upstairs and downstairs as they prefer. All cats are indoors only. I have a lot of wide, accessible windowsills that they love chilling on to watch birds and squirrels outside, as well as battery-operated and automated toys that they can chase and play with on their own. What you’ll need to send: their regular food (wet and dry) and treats. Cat litter is also appreciated. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and I’m home most of the day. I have a spacious home that can accommodate giving multiple animals space, and I can keep animals separated from each other if necessary. I've always loved animals of all kinds, and I currently have my own dog and 3 cats. About: I've been a dog owner for 20 wonderful years, dogs are my passion! They love me and I love them, from puppies to seniors, toys to giants. I am lucky have a fenced in, wooded, private, 2 acre property with plenty of room for zoomies. Boarding dogs is my main gig, so I stay home with them all day and night. They are never unsupervised, inside or outside my property. I live in a safe, wooded, quiet, 2 acre, fenced-in lot. There are lots of dogs on my block who love to socialize and have play dates if that's what your dog is into. I'm at the end of a dirt road, nowhere near any traffic, so it is very safe and private.

About: Love both dogs and cats. I do not have “professional” experience, but have owned dogs my entire life. My last dog passed away 2 years ago from cancer and I miss having a furry friend, so would enjoy taking care of yours. My entire family loves animals, so your pet will be well loved and cared for. I do have children, so the dogs or cats I would be able to board will have to be child friendly pets. I have experience with large dogs, pit bulls, mastiffs and small dogs, Pomeranians. I love my job and I also love pop culture, being active, comedy, game of thrones, music, and animals!! Since I decided to pick up a part time job I wanted to make sure it was something that I was passionate about and I LOVE dogs!
