About: Welcome to your dog’s favorite staycation in Rockland County—where every day feels like home, and every stay feels like a treat! Hi! I’m Janelle, a lifelong animal advocate and experienced pet parent offering premium in-home pet care right here in Rockland County. I work from home full-time, which means your dog will never be left alone—and will always be loved, supervised, and treated like part of the family. My home is designed with your pet’s comfort and happiness in mind. We have a fully fenced yard for safe play, a backyard splash pad for summer fun, and a built-in doggie bath in the basement for post-adventure cleanups. Indoors, pets enjoy a peaceful and cozy environment, complete with enrichment toys, soft beds, and a home-like routine. Whether your pup loves zoomies, sunbathing, or belly rubs on the couch, there’s a cozy space here waiting for them. I specialize in senior and special needs care and understand how important consistency and compassion are. I’m currently caring for my own elderly and special needs pets, including: • A senior blind dog with kidney issues on a specialized diet and daily supplements • A dog with sebaceous adenitis requiring daily Atopica • A cat with one eye and ongoing ocular support needs • A senior dog with congestive heart failure, elevated liver enzymes, and Cushing’s disease who requires multiple medications daily I’ve administered oral meds, supplements, and prescription diets for years and follow all care instructions with precision and love. My experience includes: ✔ Pet First Aid & CPR certification with the Red Cross ✔ A lifetime of rescuing & fostering pets ✔ Wildlife rescue experience Your dog’s well-being is my top priority—from tailored feeding routines to enrichment games and midday snuggles. I provide frequent photo updates and offer pick-up/drop-off options for busy pet parents. Whether you’re looking for full-day care, overnight boarding, or gentle support for a medically fragile companion, I’m here to provide peace of mind and exceptional care. Let’s schedule a meet-and-greet—I can’t wait to welcome your pet to their new favorite staycation spot! 🐾 Pet care is my daily routine. As a full-time work-from-home professional and special needs pet parent, my life revolves around attentive, personalized animal care. From early morning potty breaks to structured feeding times and enrichment activities, I keep a consistent and calming environment throughout the day. My pets—and yours—receive ongoing supervision, individualized attention, and lots of affection, play, and rest, based on their unique needs. I build daily routines that ensure stability and comfort, especially for pets with health issues or anxiety. In my home, pets are treated like beloved family members. I provide: • A safe fenced yard for active outdoor time • A splash pad for hot days or enrichment play • A dedicated nap area with orthopedic bedding • A basement dog bath for low-stress grooming • Daily medication and supplement administration • Custom feeding routines and prescription diet handling • One-on-one attention for pets with mobility, anxiety, or medical needs For client homes, I bring the same structure and compassion. I follow instructions carefully and am experienced with a variety of medications and special care routines. Whether your pet is high-energy, elderly, or medically fragile, I meet them where they are—with love, patience, and the kind of care I give my own.
“I recently had the pleasure of having Caleigh take care of my two Bengal cats for 9 days. She was incredibly punctual and maintained excellent communication throughout the entire time, providing regular updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. My cats were well taken care of, and I came home to a clean and tidy house. I will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!”

“Christine is great with my dog and he loves going on walks with her. She understands his personality and always communicates with us. Highly recommend Christine with your pets!”

About: Myself and my family are dog lovers. We loved all of our dogs Kelly, Snowball, Shadow, Maggie and Honey. We no longer have any pets but myself, my husband, and 2 children ( a girl 24 years old & boy 21 years old) would love to love and take care of your dog(s). We have lots of space for your pet to run around and have lots of attention and fun. I will have more than one dog at a time if it is agreed upon with both families. We love dogs of all size and breed. We love puppies and senior dogs as well. Between myself, my husband and 2 children (24 & 21 years old) someone is pretty much around most of the time, and love doing this. I have a fenced yard that they can roam free in. They are allowed anywhere they want in the house. They are allowed on furniture and beds.
About: I strive to make the lives of our furry friends as fulfilling and fun as possible! I'm very comfortable taking care of any pet, and I have taken care of senior animals who require insulin shots and meticulous diets. One of my favorite electives at university was my 'Psychology of our Pets' class where we learned about how to best care for our furry friends and keep them active and healthy. I have owned dogs, cats, and even birds! Since I'm home from university for the summer, I'm pretty much available at the drop of a dime! While I would prefer a day's notice, I should be able to take care of your pet within two hours of your request. I believe that activities and fun are just as important for pets as they are for humans. Who wants to be stuck in their house all day? I know tons of dog-friendly walking trails, and I'd love to spend a few hours with them & make sure they are well-exercised. I've dealt with a lot of dietary restrictions for pets, so I can follow any directions very closely if needed. For Cats/Kittens, I have a few toys I'd be happy to bring, and even a harness if they want to explore outside for a few minutes!
“Taylor took such great care of Fay and Jill the cats while I was traveling. They are often a little shy but they clearly loved her visits and their time together. Taylor sent detailed updates and multiple photos every time. I have already booked Taylor again next time when I'm out of town!”

“I cannot express enough how thankful I am for Carly’s outstanding service in taking care of Cue by letting him out twice a day and walking him. Her reliability is truly commendable; I can always trust that she will be there on time, which is incredibly reassuring for me as a pet owner. Carly’s communication skills are just as impressive, she consistently provides me with updates about Cue’s walks and shares any noteworthy observations, which makes me feel more connected to his daily activities. It’s evident that she genuinely cares about Cue’s happiness and well-being, treating him as if he were her own. I wholeheartedly recommend Carly to anyone in search of a trustworthy, dependable, and communicative pet caregiver”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since the age 5 when I was gifted my first pup. I love my dogs as if they were my children. I have 10yr old 80lb boxer mix and a 9mo poodle. I’m currently in school to be a certified life coach. My husband owns a cleaning business and I help him from time to time. I would like to fill in my days getting outside and caring for your fur babies. I can care for your dog at home as instructed. I also have a medium poodle that is fully vaccinated and in great health that I can bring along to play with your pup.
About: I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals over the past 10 years, including raising my own Bichon Frise for 8 years and hosting a British Shorthair cat in my home for 2 years. Friends and family often turn to me to help care for their pets—dogs, cats, and even more unusual animals—because they know I’m attentive, patient, and genuinely passionate about animals. Whether it’s walking, feeding, bathing, or just giving lots of love and playtime, I’m experienced and trustworthy. I’m currently on summer break from school, so I’m available every day to care for your dog or cat. With a flexible schedule, I can give them plenty of attention and playtime throughout the day. My home has a spacious living room where your pup can play freely and safely. I’ll be by their side to keep them company, make them feel comfortable, and ensure they’re happy and cared for at all times. Our neighborhood also has beautiful green spaces—perfect for daily walks and outdoor fun.
About: What sets me apart is how deeply I care about your dog’s emotional experience when you’re not there. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else, and my intention is always to create a sense of calm, safety, and genuine love. I pay close attention to their energy, their needs, and their comfort, so they never feel anxious or alone. With my background working with Guiding Eyes for the Blind and as a veterinary nurse, I bring both intuition and experience to every interaction, whether I’m caring for a playful puppy or a gentle senior. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I already live a structured, active lifestyle centered around consistency and responsibility. I walk my own dog multiple times a day and spend time outdoors on local trails and along the Hudson River. I plan my schedule intentionally, which allows me to be reliable, punctual, and fully present for each dog I care for. This is not something I squeeze in. It is something I prioritize and build my day around. I care for every dog as if they were my own, with a strong focus on making them feel safe, calm, and loved in their environment. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I follow their routine closely so nothing feels unfamiliar or stressful. I pay attention to their behavior, energy, and comfort, and adjust my approach to meet their individual needs. I keep communication open with owners so they always feel at ease, knowing their dog is not just being watched, but truly cared for.
About: As a kid, my family would often take care of our friend's dogs, but we never had one of our own. Now, I'm a dad of three young humans and one bundle of fluff named Simba. Oh and let's not forget Victoria, our rabbit. We love havinganimals, and we still love watching other people's animals too. I'm also offering to house-sit, and take other people's dogs (either solo or with my Simba) for walks. I mostly work from home and never leave a dog alone while in my care. We take several walks per day, including morning, lunch, and at least two in the evening. I have a comfortable living space, a nice yard area, nice green space and a park nearby. When dogsitting, I take very little space for myself and leave the space better than when I found it.
About: I'm 36 years old and had a dog for 14 years but passed a couple years ago. He was also diabetic for 4 years and I have experience with giving insulin. I also got 2 months worth of dog behavior training when I worked at a doggy resort. I work from home so it's a perfect situation for me to take care of your pups. I love taking walking breaks from my work day so your pup will get plenty of walks in if they want to. I absolutely adore dogs, friends & family have looked to me to take care of their pets while they were away. My dog was like my son, so I will treat your dog like he/she is a member of the family. I work from home so your pup would be home with me a majority of the time. I only leave for an hour or two to the gym a couple times a week. Your pup will be safe in my home. I do not have a fenced yard but there's plenty of space to go on walks and will be leashed. A lot of my neighbors go on walks with their dogs in the neighborhood. Your dog's happiness & safety is always number 1 and I'm always available via text if you want to check up. I'll send you adorable photos too :)
About: I've owned and cared for animals my whole life, from cats and dogs to snakes and chinchillas. My fur babies are everything to me - I even have them forever tatted on me! My current English bulldog, Stella, is half-blind and all crazy. She is a protector and lover of my two girls, who have known and grown up with animals their whole lives. While a sweetheart, she remains separate from my boarded friends. I also enjoy volunteering at two of our local animal shelters and am raising a future veterinarian. I believe animals are the purest form of love and require nothing less in return. Whether my own or yours, you can trust that I'll care for them all the same ♥️ I'm available most days of the week and weekends. Pet care and motherhood are my full-time roles, and my daughter may often accompany me on my walks. My home has large yard and a separate family area where my boarded friends can have their own quiet, private space to hang out with me: hang on the couch, watch TV, or play outside. I have a large crate if needed and plenty of space.
“Becky kindly stopped in to take care of our two silly doodles while we were out for the night. She was on time, and left us an update, some cute photos, and two happy dogs when we returned! Thank you.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life but currently where I live I can’t have one. Having an opportunity to love and care for another dog is the next best thing. I’m a mom and my daughter shares the same love for dogs because she’s seen it on my face. I cater to dogs because I love making them happy ! I’m great with walking them and playing fetch or what ever games they play. I have high patients and never rush dogs on their walks or playing times. I have no problems feeding dogs and bathing them if necessary. I am one of the biggest dog lovers and have never had a problem caring for them. I will promise that your dog will me very taken care of !
“Emily was fantastic with Petra! Great communication, updates, and one very happy pup afterward. She treated Petra like her own, and it really showed. I would absolutely book with her again!”

About: I’ve trained many pups, and can tell you that it’s not fun or exciting but always rewarding. I know the signs of all health problems and can accommodate accordingly. Ever since having a dog myself I understand how much you have to sacrifice for them, much like a child. Although a child doesn’t poop or pee on the floor, or chew up the baseboards. I will always fit pet care into my schedule wherever I can. I can walk them right before class, or take them out to play while I do homework. If there is a fenced yard I will sit outside and watch to see if your dog will get into any trouble. I have a super reactive dog and will never leave him unsupervised even if it’s just on the front porch with the gate closed.
Congers dog parents share their Rover experiences
Lauren was absolutely amazing with our puppy, Mila! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She kept us updated throughout the visits, checked in regularly, and provided plenty of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was so reassuring to see how quickly Mila trusted Lauren and how much she enjoyed spending time with her. Lauren is incredibly sweet, caring, and attentive, and it was clear that Mila was in great hands. We would 1000% book with Lauren again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate!

We went away from Mon-Friday and left our Riley with Maria! She was wonderful! We were so hesitant since it was our first time leaving her with anyone besides family but from start to finiSh it was a great experience! Maria gave us constant updates and sent so many pictures! We relaxed after day 2 knowing Riley was in good hands! We highly recommend Maria and will definitely be calling again! Annette
