My dogs are crated during the night and when I am not home. I welcome pets that sleep in the crate during the night but also can accommodate well trained sleepers that need a bed or sofa. I can train your pup with simple commands and can give a bath as needed (for extra cost). About: As a kid, my family would often take care of our friend's dogs, but we never had one of our own. Now, I'm a dad of three young humans and one bundle of fluff named Simba. Oh and let's not forget Victoria, our rabbit. We love havinganimals, and we still love watching other people's animals too. I'm also offering to house-sit, and take other people's dogs (either solo or with my Simba) for walks. I mostly work from home and never leave a dog alone while in my care. We take several walks per day, including morning, lunch, and at least two in the evening. I have a comfortable living space, a nice yard area, nice green space and a park nearby. When dogsitting, I take very little space for myself and leave the space better than when I found it.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was four years old, and they’ve always been a huge part of my life. Caring for them has never felt like a chore—it’s something I truly love. I’ve always had a special connection with dogs, and my friends and family joke that I’m a “dog whisperer” because dogs seem to gravitate toward me everywhere I go. Whether I’m on vacation or just out running errands, I can’t resist stopping to say hello to every dog I see. I’m also the kind of person who goes to a party and ends up spending most of my time playing with the dogs instead of socializing! I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. My childhood dog recently passed away after 16 wonderful years, and during her senior years I gave her daily medication, made sure our walks were comfortable with plenty of breaks, and, most importantly, gave her all the love and care she deserved. I also have a senior Chihuahua-Poodle mix who needs daily medication and occasional help getting onto the couch or bed, so I’m very comfortable caring for older dogs and understanding their unique needs. I also have a younger dog that I raised and helped potty train, and I’ve taught her several fun tricks, giving me experience with puppies and basic training as well. What sets me apart is that I treat every dog as if they were my own. I pay close attention to their personality, energy level, and routine to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to make every pet feel happy and every owner feel confident knowing their furry family member is in caring hands. Pet care has always been part of my daily routine. I have two dogs of my own, so every day includes feeding them, taking them on walks, giving one of my senior dogs his daily medication, playing with them, and making sure they get plenty of love and attention. Spending time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, so caring for pets doesn’t feel like a task—it’s one of the best parts of my day. I make time in my schedule to ensure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I’ll follow all feeding, walking, medication, and potty schedules, provide plenty of playtime and affection, and make sure they always have fresh water. I understand that every pet has a different personality, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind.

About: I’ve taken care of animals my entire life, from dogs and cats to reptiles. I worked at a pet store from ages 16 to 18, where I learned to care for many types of pets. For the past five years, I’ve managed a local animal shelter, gaining hands on experience with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Friends, family, and neighbors have always trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their pets as if they were my own. I also have two dogs, 1 cat, 2 lizards and 1 tortoise of my own. I have a bachelors in wildlife conservation biology. Animals care is a huge passion of mine. I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and other care at your home. Pet care easily fits into my daily routine since I love spending my time around animals and giving them the attention they deserve. I share my home with two friendly dogs, a cat and reptiles who love making new friends! I also have experience caring for farm animals and any type of small animal. Stephanie is wonderful, and I've been meaning to write a review for a while now. I recently moved to the area, have two dogs with complex needs & have felt so comfortable leaving them in Stephanie's care. She's been helpful with medication administration, and has provided individually tailored support to both my elderly dog, and younger pup with behavioral difficulties. The dogs have a history of scuffles, and Stephanie has been able to follow along with the complex safety plan that I have in place. I've had a previous sitter reject my rescue pup because the dog was too traumatized and anxious. Not Stephanie! She was really confident with my anxious dog and was patient, participating in multiple visits just to get to know her prior to taking on dog walking while I wasn't home. Completely 100% trust and recommend her!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Pomona choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Pomona with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
