About: I've cared for pets since I was 16 years old. I helped my family, friends, and neighbors when they needed someone to take care of their pet(s). I've cared for a ton of pets ranging from fish, hermit crabs, birds, bunnies, gerbils, hamsters, cats, to dogs. I love dogs so much I created a dog blog on the side as a hobby. I am currently writing remotely from home for work with a flexible schedule with time to also take care of your pet during most of the hours. I am easily able to take care of my own dog with ease. I have a little teddybear dog of my own, and completely understand the love and care pets receive from their owners. I get that it is your baby you do not need to worry. I will respect, honor, and care for your pet just as you would.

About: Greetings! My name is Shakia and I am an avid pet lover. I specialize in animal care including dog walking, house sitting and animal safety. I have an experience with dogs, cats, fish and birds. My current schedule for pet care includes the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and some nights during the weekday. I am flexible if scheduled in advance. I will care for your pet the same as I do mine. Pet safety is my number one priority and will be enforced at all times.

About: Experienced pet owner and County College of Morris graduate has open availability throughout the week to care for your inter-species family in the Rockland County, NY area. Animal CPR and first aid certified. I offer the following services: -drop-in visits to your home to walk, feed and care for companion animals. -clean up feces from doggie play yard and clean up any indoor accidents as required. -dog walking for dogs under 60 lbs -doggie daycare (Mon, Wed, Fri from 7:45am- 5:45pm). I must inform you that at this time I am a student and student teacher who may attend classes during the day; however, the classes are short- usually 30 minutes in length and commuting time is usually 20 minutes. Therefore your dog must be able to be left at home alone for ONE HOUR in a crate for safety reasons. I can adjust my schedule for repeat clients, dogs with crate anxiety or puppies who need continuous care but please make such a request in advance out of respect for my students and mentors. Much appreciated.❤️ -detailed daily report card of how your pet spent their day -due to welfare and health concerns relating to premature spay and neuter, I accept puppies under one year of age who have not yet been spayed/neutered. -doggie playtime and exercise: fetch, tug-of-war, enrichment toys and activities, basic obedience training, basic agility exercises -cat care: scoop litterboxes and sweep and tidy their space, feed, water, keep pet dishes tidy, and TLC and play. I am careful to remove all toys from play area which pose a hazard (cat playing wands). I have had dogs all my life and I have hands-on experience with resolving housebreaking issues and puppy training (basic obedience training). I have an Associate of Arts in International Studies and graduated in 2014. I currently have a dog, 2 cats (bonded pair) and 2 rabbits (bonded pair). In the past I have had cats, dogs, rabbits, hermit crabs, fire-bellied toads, newts, and parakeets. I've always loved nature and animals. I love hiking with my dog, and it is an important part of my life. All my pets see the vet annually and are vaccinated in accordance with the laws of the town where I live. I am a student teacher of music who offers music classes to all ages (pop, rock, country, R&B). Dog walking twice daily. Exercised in yard throughout the day. Shadow eats Merrick twice daily. Cats: I interact with my 2 cats morning and night. I pet them and play with them every evening. Clean-up is done every morning. They are fed twice daily, morning and night. Litterboxes are cleaned every other day. Cats: Litter boxes scooped and refreshed every other day. Cats are fed once daily in the morning and are given dry food to graze the rest of the day. Dog: Dog walking twice a day (she is in the yard while I WFH.) Dog is fed twice daily. Rabbits fed twice daily (hay, fresh veggies and pellets). Clean-up every 3 days (waste hay is removed from litterboxes and replaced with fresh hay).

I have worked on a lot of training with my chiweenie Paige, who is now almost 10. I have pet sit for friends and family many times and love to meet new animals. About: In addition to having my own family dog, I grew up taking care of other family & neighbors’ pets. This included regular walks, feeding, and overnight care. I’ve now been doing Rover for the last 6 years, taking care of dozens of dogs and cats, most of which return for recurring care — from drops ins to daycare and week+ long overnight stays. I work from home full time, so I can spend time with and be available for pets throughout the entire day. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to stay with pets all day or drop in as needed. I’m a very attentive pet lover - always playing with/petting them. Odds are I’ll pay more attention to them than my job during work hours.

About: I’ve watched, walked, and exercised pets since I was a preteen, starting with my cousin’s dogs, who I would play with and help get exercise. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to watch over dogs, cats, fish, and even guinea pigs. Some of these families have had over 5 pets at once, showing that I can multitask! I have a fenced in yard to keep your dogs safe, and the fence is very low to the ground and not spaced out, making it difficult for even smaller animals to squeeze through. About: I have always been a pet person. I’ve lived my whole life always having a pet. Whether that’s dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, or even fish! I love all animals and have even done wildlife rehab rescues. I’ve had experience dog sitting as well as dog walking. I know that every dog is different so I adjust to every pets needs, no two dogs are the same and every one is special in their own way :) Weekdays i'm available in the afternoons till however late is necessary. Weekends my schedule is practically wide open! My personal at home routine with my animals includes walks, food, water, play time,and anything in between! I have a large fenced in yard that my dog loves to run around in! I have a car too if any transport is needed, equipped with safety for dogs in the car! When I take dogs for walks I always bring a travel water bottle for them as well as snacks! I place a huge importance on dogs safety and health so on walks I will always go with the dogs pace and never push them past their limits, on really hot days we will stop for shade and water breaks!

Marshall was our first family dog, Roberta grew up with multiple dogs caring for them from pups through seniors. Additionally, our 6 year-old daughter has enough energy to provide tons of additional fetch and chase time. We also have a 1 year old that can’t wait to get in on the action! We are able to (and love) having pups with special needs. Marshall's best friend was blind and we cared for him on many occasions. We can also administer medications and prepare specialized meals when needed. We have a large backyard that allows for plenty of jaunts and potty breaks. As well as plenty of space in the house for quiet time and naps. Your pup will have full access to make themselves comfortable in their home away from home. Travis works from home allowing for full time care. Roberta is a teacher nearby and is home early to allow for additional time and attention. We are able to fit your pup into our daily feeding, potty, play schedule or can adjust to meet their needs. In our home, your pets are treated like family. They'll enjoy a cozy environment with plenty of playtime in our large yard or indoors if it's too hot/cold. They'll have plenty of play time if they like or space to chill if that's what they prefer. Your pet will have access to our home to nap and play wherever they feel comfortable, and we also have the space to crate if, that's your preference.
