I’ve always had a passion for caring for animals and providing thoughtful, individualized support. I completed a Veterinary Science Program through Cornell University, earned my Bachelor’s degree from Dominican University, and graduated with my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Utica University. I am a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) in New York State. Before dedicating myself full-time to pet care, I spent over 7 years working as a Veterinary Assistant, including 5 years at Valley Cottage Animal Hospital. I have extensive hands-on experience with animal care, health monitoring, and supporting pets with a variety of needs. Trained in animal CPR and experienced with both injectable and oral medications. My background in Occupational Therapy has strengthened my ability to provide patient, client-centered care by understanding individual needs, routines, and comfort levels. I bring that same approach to every pet I care for creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. This is especially valuable for senior pets, pets recovering from injury or surgery, and animals who benefit from extra patience, consistency, and attention. I provide full-time professional pet care through Homesté Pets, a New York based registered pet sitting business. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, highly organized, dependable, and committed to making every pet feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while their family is away. I look forward to becoming your pet’s next trusted caregiver! 🐾

Milly was awesome! Maisy had a great time at Chez Milly and I was at ease knowing the good care my girl was getting. Milly shared regular updates with photos and it was nice to see Maisy enjoying the nice, enclosed and private yard. Milly's home is also set up perfectly for pups, particularly like my dog reactive and medically needy pup. It was clear Milly has the experience to deal with all kinds and Maisy will be back. I was very nervous to leave Kody as it has been a long time he’s been around other dogs . Milagros was very kind allowed me to bring him prior to get familiar with her environment. She allowed me to go inside her home and see where Kody would be and was very reassuring he was in good hands. She made me feel very comfortable and send updates and videos of how he was doing during the day . I look forward to doggy daycare and further bookings Kody was very happy he was dreaming last night wagging his tale sure it was about his friends he met at Milagros home . Would recommend .

I have flexible availability throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends for daytime care, evenings, and overnight stays. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care while maintaining your pet’s routine and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. 🐾

I provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where pets can feel at home. I have a securely fenced yard for supervised outdoor play and one friendly resident dog who enjoys having company. I can accommodate crate-trained pets if needed, follow your pet’s normal routine, and provide individualized care based on their personality, comfort level, and needs.
A typical day
Every pet’s day is personalized based on their energy level, routine, and preferences. We enjoy supervised outdoor play, walks when appropriate, enrichment activities, relaxation time, and plenty of affection. I provide engaging activities with durable toys, including Planet Dog toys, along with opportunities for mental stimulation and play. I also have food and water bowls available in multiple sizes to help make your pet’s stay comfortable and convenient.
