I’ve always had a passion for caring for animals and providing thoughtful, individualized support. I completed a Veterinary Science Program through Cornell University, earned my Bachelor’s degree from Dominican University, and graduated with my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Utica University. I am a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) in New York State. Before dedicating myself full-time to pet care, I spent over 7 years working as a Veterinary Assistant, including 5 years at Valley Cottage Animal Hospital. I have extensive hands-on experience with animal care, health monitoring, and supporting pets with a variety of needs. Trained in animal CPR and experienced with both injectable and oral medications. My background in Occupational Therapy has strengthened my ability to provide patient, client-centered care by understanding individual needs, routines, and comfort levels. I bring that same approach to every pet I care for creating a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. This is especially valuable for senior pets, pets recovering from injury or surgery, and animals who benefit from extra patience, consistency, and attention. I provide full-time professional pet care through Homesté Pets, a New York based registered pet sitting business. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, highly organized, dependable, and committed to making every pet feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while their family is away.
