“Elizabeth always is amazing and reliable with our dogs. She keeps the pics and updates coming and always leaves the house tidy. Our go-to dog sitter. Highly. recommend!”

About: Dogs have been part of my life for many years. While living in England, I helped care for a Golden Retriever, and later, in Spain, I cared for a Yorkshire Terrier. After spending over 12 wonderful years with my own Golden Retriever, Kobi, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your dog like family. Kobi was my adventure partner and best friend. Together, we explored hiking trails, beaches, kayaking trips, road trips from Maine to Florida, and countless daily walks. He showed me how important exercise, enrichment, routine, and companionship are for a happy dog. For over five years, I also organized dog hikes throughout Westchester County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT. These adventures gave dogs the opportunity to exercise, explore, socialize, and enjoy time outdoors in a safe and structured environment. In addition, I have professional experience working in a commercial dog daycare, where I supervised groups of up to 30 small and medium-sized dogs, as well as puppy groups of up to 7 puppies under 4 months old. This experience taught me how to read canine body language, recognize stress signals, manage group dynamics, and provide safe, attentive care. My approach combines practical dog experience with a calm, holistic mindset. I am certified in Reiki and Emotion Code energy work and believe dogs thrive when they feel safe, understood, and respected. While every visit focuses first on your dog's physical needs, I also pay close attention to their emotional well-being and comfort. I specialize in one-on-one care for puppies, seniors, and friendly family dogs that thrive with individualized attention, enrichment, companionship, and exercise. My experience is strongest with Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Doodles, Cavaliers, and similar companion breeds that benefit from individualized attention, enrichment, exercise, and companionship. Services I offer: • 60-minute drop-in visits • Dog walking • Adventure walks and hikes up to 2 hours • Puppy visits and enrichment activities • Overnight pet sitting in your home • Limited home daycare and boarding for approved dogs I believe many dogs are happier with personalized care rather than large-group environments. Whether your dog enjoys a quiet walk, a hiking adventure, puzzle games, puppy enrichment, or simply companionship while you're away, I tailor each visit to their individual needs. For home daycare and boarding, I intentionally keep things small and personal. I currently do not have a dog of my own and only accept one guest dog at a time, two dogs from the same family, or up to two compatible puppies. This allows me to provide close supervision and individualized attention. My home includes a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time. I live in a two-family home, and my apartment is located on the second floor, so dogs should be comfortable using stairs. A playpen is available for puppies and young dogs who benefit from additional structure and rest periods. For the safety and comfort of everyone involved, I require a meet-and-greet before accepting any new client. This allows us to make sure your dog is comfortable with me and that we are a good fit for each other. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family member! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I am self-employed as a bookkeeper and real estate agent, which allows me to work primarily from home and maintain a flexible schedule. While I occasionally leave the house for appointments, errands, or property showings, I am able to plan my schedule around the needs of the pets in my care. This flexibility allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, companionship, and close supervision for dogs staying in my home. I provide a safe, calm, and personalized environment with plenty of individual attention. My home has a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, and I live just a 5-minute walk from wooded trails for walks and adventures. Dogs have access to a comfortable sofa, toys, and puzzle games for enrichment and mental stimulation. I live in a second-floor apartment, so dogs should be comfortable using stairs. I only accept 1 dogs at a time or 2 from the same family to ensure each dog receives plenty of supervision, exercise, and companionship.
“Brandon F. was FANTASTIC! He gave regular updates and sent photos of our Lucy to us. It was so great to be able to relax and know that our beloved pet was in good hands with Brandon. Would absolutely book him again!”

“Yhakerra was so attentive and extremely caring towards both my fur babies. It was not easy either because both my kitties are in separate spaces of the house due to one of them chasing the other and hissing/growling. However, Yhakerra did amazing and handled the separate feedings/litter cleanings like a pro. She also left the house very clean and immaculate. She was even so caring that she asked if she could carry the youngest baby, Luna to the bedroom and let her sleep in the bed, which of course I was so touched that she was so sweet to accommodate the well being of the babies. She had to move her litterbox and food bowls. I highly recommend Yhakerra and will be booking her again in the future. Thank you so much Yhakerra, I’m so thankful to have had you care for my babies.”

“Wonderful , I was so nervous but Julia won over our dog immediately and she was clearly very happy during Julia's stay. The house was immaculate when we returned . Very highly recommend Julia”

“Flower did a great job house sitting and caring for Willie and Molly for 5 days, she sent photos and videos daily. They played and had meals and snuggles and treats. My dogs love her.”

“David took care of everything and everyone—from our Velcro dog who became his best bud to our 16 year old very shy kitty who ended up snuggling up and sleeping with him. It was so nice to come home to happy healthy pets and everything at the house taken care of. I highly recommend David and will be seeking out his services again. Thank you!!!”

“Christy is the best! She stayed with our beloved pup for over a week, and took great care of him. She sent us amazing photos of him daily, and our house was clean and orderly upon return. I’m so glad to have connected with Christy and we will definitely be inviting her back to take care of Donhenley.”

“Was so fortunate to find Hayden at the last second. She was great with our two crazy dogs and treated our home with care. Would be happy to have her stay and care for guys again anytime. (Only sad that she was only available due to being home during winter break from college!)”

“Alexis was great with our pups. We got daily updates, and all of our requests were handled. We have a fear reactive pup and Alexis was even willing to come and meet our pooches several times before our actual trip to allow our pups to get comfortable (and vice versa). Alexis is chill and easy going and the doggos vibed well with that. We found Alexis to be very reliable, patient, responsible, kind, and essentially everything we could ask for in a sitter. We definitely recommend Alexis.”

About: I was raised around animals my entire life and was the primary care taker! I haven’t lived a day of my life that didn’t involve a pet. My family is big on dogs and every family member has one of their own. I’ve cared for senior dogs and dogs of all sizes. I’m passionate about dog care and consider going into an animal field career! I have experience with cats as well and truly love all animals and aim only for the best care to our furry friends. I work Monday-Thursday 7am-2pm but other than that I have open availability. I’m able to drive and am open to all services. My summer has a lot of availability as I am a student. My care includes my personal knowledge but I follow instructions given as the owner knows their furry friend best. I have always lived with animals and have been there for the ups and downs for each of them. Pets will be given proper care including potty breaks, regulated feeding, and proper engagement to make sure they get all their boxes checked. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and cater to their needs!
“Nicole was a marvelous care-giver for our middle-aged Alaskan Malamute! She was patient through Velma's usual "I don't have to listen to you — my moms will be home soon" beginning-of-the-trip phase, and she understood that belly rubs can overcome any northern dog stubbornness. And when some plants that we'd ordered for delivery *after* we returned home arrived early, Nicole carefully unboxed them and made sure they were watered and soaking up sunshine. We'll gladly call on Nicole again for our next trips!”
“Kristine R. was a WONDERFUL dog and house sitter for us. She kept us informed with photos and texts and left our home in perfect order. Our dog was a happy dog when we got home. Many thanks to Kristine who is professional in every way. We look forward to hiring her again in the future.”

Stony Point pet parents share their Rover experiences
Nicole was great. During the meet & greet both dogs seemed super comfortable immediately. While we were away she was super responsive and followed all care instructions. Our house was super clean when we got home also. Will absolutely ask her to stay again if our schedules match up.

Naomi was both a lifesaver and a wonderful sitter! She came to sit for our dog Bert last minute when our sitter cancelled! The minute she walked through the door her warmth and clear love for dogs shone through! Then we had to ask if she could stay a bit later because we were stuck at a concert, and she was so accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend Naomi as she was professional, excited about dog sitting and sent lots of pictures to this anxious mama! Thank you naomi!
