About: Looking for more than just a quick walk or a busy kennel? I provide personalized, one-on-one care tailored to your dog's personality, age, and energy level. Whether your dog enjoys a neighborhood walk, a wooded trail hike, a sniff walk, puzzle games, fetch, or simply relaxing with companionship, my goal is to make every visit enjoyable, enriching, and stress-free. I have over 14 years of hands-on experience with dogs, including supervising groups of up to 30 dogs in a professional dog daycare and caring for puppy groups under 4 months old. For more than five years, I also organized dog hikes throughout Westchester County, NY, and Fairfield County, CT, giving dogs a safe, structured, and fun way to exercise and explore. My experience is strongest with Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Doodles, Cavaliers, and other friendly companion breeds that thrive with individualized attention, exercise, enrichment, and companionship. While I welcome many different breeds, I always schedule a meet-and-greet first to make sure we're the right fit for each other. My own Golden Retriever, Kobi, was my best friend and adventure partner for over 12 years. Together we explored hiking trails, beaches, kayaking trips, road trips from Maine to Florida, and countless daily walks. He taught me that every dog is an individual with unique needs, and that is exactly how I care for every dog I meet. I believe many dogs are happier with personalized care than large-group environments. Over the years, I have learned to read canine body language, recognize stress signals, manage different personalities, and create a calm environment where dogs feel safe and comfortable. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, oral medications, and dogs that simply need extra patience and attention. My home has a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and is just a five-minute walk from beautiful wooded trails. I intentionally keep boarding and daycare small by accepting only one guest dog at a time, or two dogs from the same family, so every dog receives plenty of supervision, affection, exercise, and individual attention. I also have a playpen available for puppies and young dogs who benefit from structured rest time. My apartment is on the second floor, so dogs should be be comfortable using stairs. While living in England, I helped care for a Golden Retriever, and later in Spain, I cared for a Yorkshire Terrier. These experiences, together with years of owning dogs, leading dog hikes, and working professionally in dog daycare, have given me experience with many different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. My approach combines practical experience with a calm, patient mindset. I am certified in Reiki and Emotion Code energy work and believe dogs thrive when they feel safe, understood, and respected. While every visit focuses first on your dog's physical needs, I also pay close attention to their emotional well-being. I am self-employed as a bookkeeper and real estate agent, which allows me to work primarily from home and maintain a flexible schedule. While I occasionally leave the house for appointments, errands, or property showings, I am able to plan my schedule around the needs of the pets in my care. This flexibility allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, companionship, and close supervision for dogs staying in my home. I provide a safe, calm, and personalized environment with plenty of individual attention. My home has a fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, and I live just a 5-minute walk from wooded trails for walks and adventures. Dogs have access to a comfortable sofa, toys, and puzzle games for enrichment and mental stimulation. I live in a second-floor apartment, so dogs should be comfortable using stairs. I only accept 1 dogs at a time or 2 from the same family to ensure each dog receives plenty of supervision, exercise, and companionship.

About: I've had dogs since I was a little girl and I love animals! I have experience walking dogs, pet sitting, babysitting, and housesitting. I love all animals no matter age or size. I'm currently working part-time so I am available most days including weekends! I am not available on Fridays. I am happy to help any other day. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I can keep your pet on a leash as well as avoid pulling on a walk. If your pet likes parks I would gladly take them!

About: I have nearly four years of experience in a veterinary hospital as a kennel technician, where I care for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, breeds, and medical needs. I am comfortable administering oral and topical medications, monitoring for signs of illness or stress, and handling a wide range of temperaments. Outside of work, I have grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have an 8 year old golden retriever of my own. I have cared for many age ranges from senior to a weeks old. I have also had other pets, including a rabbit, so I understand that every animal has unique needs and personalities. My clinical experience, combined with my lifelong love of animals, allows me to provide attentive and reliable care. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs extra patience, I will treat them as if they were my own while you’re away. I am a full time student during the school year but on breaks I work around 3/4 days a week so I have plenty of time and flexibility to take care of your furry friends whenever you need me to! I do not have a set work schedule and can adapt relatively easily. I currently have a golden retriever who I love with all my heart. I can do whatever is necessary to care for your pet and have seen many different special instructions at my job. From medications to special diets I have seen a diverse range of special needs that I am well equipped to handle. About: I like to pay attention to your pet’s cues to determine their wants and needs. I’ve primarily helped friends and family with their pets and the more I spend time with animals, the more I fall in love. I currently work remotely from home. Mornings and evenings are easy! Afternoons will require some maneuvering but I can be transparent about my availability based on your needs and the dates of service. Depending on the distance I can stop by 2 or 3 times a day. I’m only offering drop-in services and walks at this time. I would be respectful of your space and focus on what I’ve been hired to do. If you need me to refresh your pets belongings, brush them, or wipe them down, etc, I’d be happy to. I have a daily routine with our family dog so I’m happy to continue any routines with your fur baby.

About: Hi! I'm Brittany. Nice to meet you! I have around 9+ combined years of experience petsitting and a lifetime of experience around animals. I have always loved animals and started dogwalking as a small side job in 2012 in highschool. I got my real start in 2018 working full-time for a small pet-sitting business, where I learned the ropes and built the skills I still use every day. Since about 2020 I have branched off independently and have continued to be a loved local petsitter for many clients in my area. Other than petsitting I work at a local pet store, if you know me please say hello! I value myself as trusted petsitter in my community, with many of my clients existing through referrals, past pet sitting connections, and from the pet store where I work. Several of my independent clients have also been kind enough to leave me Rover reviews during my initial arrival here. Most of my business actively continues through those channels, but I decided to keep Rover as a way to add a little extra outreach and connect with new families. I have experience caring for all kinds of pets including super seniors, puppies and kittens, and dogs and cats with a wide variety of medical conditions requiring administration of regular meds, treatments, or insulin. I am familar with pets with strict dietary requirements or regimens (dont worry its not too complicated!). I am comfortable handling strong pullers, leash aggressive/reactive dogs and have a gentle touch to be able to bond with fearful feral cats. I also have experience with aquatic pets, small animals like chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits and some experience with lizards and birds. I can also do water parameter testing on your aquariums if equipment is provided to me. Pets are truly my life! And I know your pets are Your life so I will always do everything to ensure your pets are loved, safe, and cared for while you are away and make sure we have lots of fun too! I work at a pet store 6 days a week from 10–6 with a midday break I use for visits. For pets needing 1 or 2 visits a day, they will happen before and/or after those hours. For overnight or 3x visit a day clients I will provide one of the visits during my lunch break. Since I work at a pet store, I can easily grab many forgotten or necessary items for your pet anytime. My schedule ensures I am usually only ever away for ~5 hours at a time. Pets I care for must be okay with some time by themselves, since my bookings are not considered 24/7 care (non -constant). If you need something more full-time, please feel free to message me and I may be able to work something out depending on the request. The schedule I keep generally works well for my clients and the majority of pet owners, but for special circumstances I can make adjustments for specific days if necessary Overnights typically include Dinner care through Breakfast care and a single return visit midday. I require all of my clients to provide up to date preferred vet information, emergency contact info and provide me prior authorization to seek emergency care for their pets. To this date I have never had to use that information for any emergencies, but I always ask for it. Other than that I will strictly follow rules requested of me, I never do any off leash without being explicitly instructed to, and will only ever provide pets snacks and food that are indicated to me to use for them. I will never take any unnecessary risks with your pet or with your home. I am always respectful with homes and try to leave them as close to how it was before or cleaner than when I arrived as possible. I will make sure plants are watered, mail is inside and check in regularly with images. I am also open to some video or voice calling with your pets if requested. I am unable to provide full home cleaning services, however, I will within reason wash requested items (such as bedding or towels), clean up after myself, and make sure pet areas and bowls are kept tidy.

For walks, I have experience with dogs who are pullers and those who like to go at a slower pace. I also have experience cat sitting for a few family friends cats. I'm currently pursuing an online masters degree, which means I am very flexible with my hours. As long as I can bring my computer to get some work done during the day, anytime is fine with me. I would love to cuddle with your pet while watching lectures, and take much needed study breaks to go for a walk or play a game of fetch! I have experience housesitting while watching furry friends. About: I grew up with pets, Dogs, cats and birds and I love the companionship they offer. They will be given attention and care at all times. I work remotely Mondays and Fridays and I'm off on weekends. I am normally home by 5:30 on the days I go into the office. I will be readily available to play and give my undivided attention to your pet. I have a front and backyard that is welcoming to all pets. The yard is partially fenced in but they will never be left unsupervised.

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life and know how to make animals feel comfortable and cared for. I offer dog walking and cat boarding from my home in Yorktown Heights. Guest cats stay in their own private room with fresh food, water, and a clean litter box. For dog walking I keep things low stress, consistent, and fun. I work from home regularly so I'm around often and take every pet's routine seriously. I treat every animal like my own. I work from home frequently which means pets in my care are never left alone for long stretches. For dog walking I'm flexible on timing and can work around your schedule for morning, afternoon, or evening walks. For cat boarding, guest cats get visits multiple times a day including morning feeding, a midday check-in, and an evening wind-down with fresh food, clean water, and a scooped litter box. Weekends I'm generally very available and weekdays I can accommodate most requests with a little advance notice. I genuinely enjoy spending time with and meeting new animals so this isn't a job to me, it's a passion. I have a dog and two cats of my own so I know firsthand what animals need to feel safe and comfortable. Guest cats are kept in their own private, dedicated room completely separate from my resident pets, giving them a quiet space to decompress and settle in at their own pace. For dog walking I keep things calm and consistent, always on leash, through the safe residential streets of Yorktown Heights or local parks where my dog frequents himself. I pay close attention to each animal's personality and adjust my approach accordingly. Whether a pet is social and energetic or shy and cautious, I make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.
