About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a child! My love for animals has motivated me to enroll in vet tech school, starting this fall. I specialize in small mammals, such as rabbits and hamsters, and have owned my own. I have also cared for guinea pigs, parakeets, and aquariums. About: I’ve been so lucky to have had multiple dogs to care for over the years, caring for them from the puppy stage through their senior years. I met my husband a few years ago because of the dogs I’d rescued as he is a veterinary doctor with over a decade of experience. Together, we have rehabilitated multiple dogs and found good homes for them. We are animal lovers and have our own fur baby, but there is always plenty of love to go around for these angels on earth. 🩷 I am home everyday and available to provide quality care for your fur babies. I have an 8-year old terrier who is very friendly and loves dog friends. I walk him everyday for at least 30 minutes in the park behind our house, and I would be happy to walk your dog with him. Walking is a great physical and mental workout for dogs! However, I understand that each dog has its own lifestyle and I am happy to cater to it in accordance with your instructions. My backyard is not fenced in, but my parents’ house is 4 minutes away and I use their big fenced-in yard to let my dog run freely and play fetch, as well as to play with his pup friends. If you authorize it, I could use the space for your pup too, otherwise, on-leash walks in the park are great!
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.

About: I’ve taken care of my childhood dog from puppy to senior. I enjoyed training and grooming my puppy and making my senior dog a power bowl. I am a very active person - a hiker, marathoner, boxer, and cyclist, I can exhaust your furry babies however they want!
