About: I love all animals and will take excellent care of your pet. I have 15+ years of professional experience, and a lifetime of experience with my own variety of pets. I’ve worked at Hi Tor Animal Shelter taking care of animals and helping with adoptions, as a veterinary assistant at VEG in Nanuet for a year, and All Creatures in Pomona as a CSR and assistant. I’m currently at the new Nyack Neighborhood Veterinary in Nyack. I’m also in school for animal nursing to become a licensed veterinary technician (LVT). I love to give all animals and pets compassionate, nurturing, and professional care and companionship. My available services include meals, bathroom breaks, walks, play-time, socialization, and also some medical attention as needed like vet visits, meds (oral, topical, ear/eye drops, injection), and grooming (baths, claws, etc). I also have some experience with training and can assist with managing certain behavioral issues. I'm able to handle any type of dog, any age, any size, most temperaments, and I can manage special-needs pets. Cats are also among my areas of expertise. I have availability during some days, evenings, and weekends. *PLEASE READ RE: OVERNIGHT HOUSE SITTING: Rover does not currently allow users to specify available time frames for house sitting stays, so while I do have availability for some overnight pet/house sitting, it will usually be limited to a short duration, like 3-4 nights at a time, with the possibility for occasional exceptions (TBD). The open days that I have posted on my calendar are days that I can be available in general, and I’ll try to work something out to meet your needs if possible. I’ve posted a 1-day cancellation policy, but I would prefer 48 hours notice of cancellation for a commitment so that I have an opportunity to reallocate that time. The main thing is clear communication in advance so that dates, details, and expectations can all be sorted out. I always respect the personal space and privacy of homes where I’m watching pets. My goal is to stick to routines as much as possible, and to keep your pet feeling happy and healthy and loved.

About: I have experience with dogs and cats. currently have a rabbit at home which is a hybrid of a dog and cat. Learning to be a dog trainer. I'm working full time in a dog kennel, available in the mornings or late afternoons. Around all day Fridays and Saturday's. Can bring pet to appointments if needed. I will never leave a pet unattended nor wil I be distracted. Always scanning for possible threat or chance for a dog to take off after a animal.

Roberta is a teacher nearby and is home early to allow for additional time and attention. We are able to fit your pup into our daily feeding, potty, play schedule or can adjust to meet their needs. In our home, your pets are treated like family. They'll enjoy a cozy environment with plenty of playtime in our large yard or indoors if it's too hot/cold. They'll have plenty of play time with our pup Marshall if they like or space to chill if that's what they prefer. Your pet will have access to our home to nap and play wherever they feel comfortable, and we also have the space to crate if, that's your preference.

About: I have the ability to reinforce basic commands like sit, stay, and recall during walks or sitting sessions. I have the ability to channel their boundless energy in a productive way, whether through play or structured exercise. I have a 11 year old pit bull which gives me experience with caring for a senior dog but understanding the slower pace, possible joint pain, or health issues that may require extra care. Being observant of subtle signs of discomfort, such as limping & notifying the owner if needed. Knowledge of how to administration oral medications & liquids. About: I’ve had dogs my whole entire life. I own 2 large dogs now and I help my family to watch theirs whenever needed. I was always a huge animal lover and originally I always wanted to pursue veterinary career. I ended up being a registered nurse instead but I am very passionate about animals. Animals>People any day! ;) I work full time 12 hr day shifts 3-4 days a week. I can watch your pets whenever I am off from work. My schedule varies every week but know it way in advance. About: As a kid, my family would often take care of our friend's dogs, but we never had one of our own. Now, I'm a dad of three young humans and one bundle of fluff named Simba. Oh and let's not forget Victoria, our rabbit. We love havinganimals, and we still love watching other people's animals too. I'm also offering to house-sit, and take other people's dogs (either solo or with my Simba) for walks. I mostly work from home and never leave a dog alone while in my care. We take several walks per day, including morning, lunch, and at least two in the evening. I have a comfortable living space, a nice yard area, nice green space and a park nearby. When dogsitting, I take very little space for myself and leave the space better than when I found it.

About: Since the age of 7 years old I have always had a dog around my families home. Along with my family pet, I have experience taking care of dogs that range in age and size. I have experience with 6 month old puppies that need a lot of attention through 14 year old dogs that need medication given to them. Over the years, I have taken care of pets for my friends and family ranging from a day, a weekend, to a whole week. Having a dog of my own, I understand the difficulties of finding the right sitter as well as the importance of finding the right one. I am currently a Graduate student at the University of Rhode Island. For the summer, I am taking online asynchronous classes. Since my classes are asynchronous I am able to work my school schedule around my pet sitting schedule. With that being said, I still need a couple hours each day to devote to my school work. When it comes to someone else's home, I follow all the directions that are given to me. I am very versatile depending on the needs of the pet and owner. When it comes to walks, I always walk dogs with their leash and preferably a harness for long walks (but if they don't have one that is okay as well). If I bring the dog to my own home, I have a deck with a gate and a big backyard for playing.

About: I've been around all sorts of animals since I was a child, firstly with a family dog and also birds of my own, then volunteering at a farm for a number of years, and now being the proud dad of 3 cats and 2 birds! Most recently, my experience and skills as a veterinary assistant and being in school for a veterinary technician degree also gives me much knowledge in care for not only dogs and cats, but all sorts of animals! I'm currently working at a veterinary hospital and have time to fit pets that need attention into my schedule. My work schedule does change weekly, but usually does not impede on any pet that needs my attention. During the week, I will be able to take care of any pets in the morning before work and in the afternoon when I come home after work. If I’m close enough, I can also stop by during my lunch to hang out with any pets that may need extra attention. I have a variety of toys and treats for all size dogs and cats, if it is not available to the owner. I enjoy engaging with the pets I come across to make their experience a fun one and to get to know their different personalities. Another benefit I can offer is the fact that since I also work at an animal hospital, if in the event where a pet needs attention while their owner’s are away, I have the experience and contacts to help with any needs of that pet as soon as possible, with the permission of the owners.
