About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently have one dog and two cats. In high school, I volunteered at an animal shelter, where I helped care for animals by cleaning, feeding, socializing, and helping with their daily needs. Through my volunteer experience and caring for my own pets, I’ve become comfortable working with animals of different ages, sizes and personalities. I am home from college for the summer, so I am extremely flexible to work with your schedule and make sure your pet is cared for when needed. My pets at home are extremely loved and my best friends. I understand that every animal is different, so safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will take the time to learn the pets routine so they will be comfortable in their environment.

While I’m currently taking a step back from work in veterinary medicine for personal and professional reasons, my commitment to high-quality, compassionate pet care remains strong. Animals have always been central to my life, and I bring that same dedication to every pet I care for. I have 15+ years of professional animal-care experience, including work at Hi Tor Animal Shelter, VEG (Nanuet) as a veterinary assistant, All Creatures in Pomona, and Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital. I provide attentive, individualized care including meals, walks, playtime, socialization, grooming, and medication administration (oral, topical, eye/ear drops, and injections). I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages and sizes, including special-needs pets, and I have extensive experience with cats. I also care for other animals such as reptiles (especially snakes), birds, and small mammals. I’d love to meet you and your pet—feel free to reach out with any questions or to see if we’re a good fit! My schedule is flexible, and I have availability during some days, evenings, and weekends. *RE: OVERNIGHT HOUSE SITTING: Rover does not currently allow users to specify available time frames for house sitting stays, so while I do have availability for some overnight pet/house sitting, it will usually be limited to a short duration, like 3-4 nights at a time, with the possibility for occasional exceptions (TBD). Overnights basically cover dinner-overnight stay-breakfast. Side-note: If we are expecting snow, then please make sure proper snow removal is in place for the visit as that is not included in my services. The open days that I have posted on my calendar are days that I can be available in general, and I’ll try to work something out to meet your needs if possible. I’ve posted a 1-day cancellation policy, but I would prefer 48 hours notice of cancellation for a commitment so that I have an opportunity to reallocate that time. The main thing is clear communication in advance so that dates, details, and expectations can all be sorted out. I always respect the personal space and privacy of homes where I’m watching pets. My goal is to stick to routines as much as possible, and to keep your pet feeling happy and healthy and loved.

We had a 10 year-old German shepherd mix named Marshall, that recently passed, that we adopted from a rescue at 8 weeks old so we have the ability and patience to host puppies. Marshall was our first family dog, Roberta grew up with multiple dogs caring for them from pups through seniors. Additionally, our 6 year-old daughter has enough energy to provide tons of additional fetch and chase time. We also have a 1 year old that can’t wait to get in on the action! We are able to (and love) having pups with special needs. Marshall's best friend was blind and we cared for him on many occasions. We can also administer medications and prepare specialized meals when needed. We have a large backyard that allows for plenty of jaunts and potty breaks. As well as plenty of space in the house for quiet time and naps. Your pup will have full access to make themselves comfortable in their home away from home. Travis works from home allowing for full time care. Roberta is a teacher nearby and is home early to allow for additional time and attention. We are able to fit your pup into our daily feeding, potty, play schedule or can adjust to meet their needs. In our home, your pets are treated like family. They'll enjoy a cozy environment with plenty of playtime in our large yard or indoors if it's too hot/cold. They'll have plenty of play time if they like or space to chill if that's what they prefer. Your pet will have access to our home to nap and play wherever they feel comfortable, and we also have the space to crate if, that's your preference.

About: I have been working with a variety of animals for about 14 years. Horses, cats, dogs, cows, etc. i really enjoy going on long or short walks and have a soft spot for senior pets. i currently work a full-time position during the week but have availability on all weekends for early, afternoon, or nighttime walks and check-ins I am currently working full time but work from home on fridays which makes me available for night time walks and have all weekends available for morning, afternoon, and night time walks. I currently live with two cats and am the one responsible for all their care. When I visit my family we have three dogs that I feed as well as walk

About: As a kid, my family would often take care of our friend's dogs, but we never had one of our own. Now, I'm a dad of three young humans and one bundle of fluff named Simba. Oh and let's not forget Victoria, our rabbit. We love havinganimals, and we still love watching other people's animals too. I'm also offering to house-sit, and take other people's dogs (either solo or with my Simba) for walks. I mostly work from home and never leave a dog alone while in my care. We take several walks per day, including morning, lunch, and at least two in the evening. I have a comfortable living space, a nice yard area, nice green space and a park nearby. When dogsitting, I take very little space for myself and leave the space better than when I found it.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for the past 4 years. I’ve come to learn the different breads and have acquired some basic training for dogs like teaching them to sit, paw, roll over etc. I love to play fetch with dogs too. They make me laugh and it offers them great exercise. I have a fenced in back yard so your dog can run around without having to worry about escaping. I have a pool which is open in the summer if your dog loves to play in the pool to get out of the hot sun. I am a full time teacher. I’m home at 3 pm everyday. I have breaks during the day and since I’m 5 minutes from work, it allows me to come home during the day to check up on the pups I’m watching. My weekends are free and I have summers over with vacations all rear round. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for your pup to play. I also have a pool and your pup can go in it during the summer when it’s open. I love to walk so me and your dog will be walking a lot.

About: Animals have been a part of my life since childhood, from our show dog who was an Irish Wolfhound to being a rescue mom to smaller terriers. I have cared for horses, chickens, bunnies which included pets with special handicaps. With deep empathy and natural connection, I understand animals on an intuitive level. I have trained puppies, comforted seniors and welcomed countless creatures who somehow find their way to my home. Your pet will find a home away from home here with me, safe, loving-and I look forward to offering the same love I show all animals to your beloved pet. All needs are met and everyone is happy! I am home during the day and available to provide attentive care for your pet. I may step out briefly for errands or other chores but will ensure your pet's needs are fully met and they get plenty of company and care. Our home is on one acre with a fenced in yard and great area for walking with lots of trees in a peaceful setting. I have a senior dog (17 yo) that loves company. We also have cats which are friendly and curious.

About: Even if it's just a quick drop in for a potty break, I always make sure your pet gets some extra attention & snuggles. I am meticulous about special dietary needs & medication administration. Right now, I am available during the day mon, thurs, fri, and sun. I can also do evenings all week. Hoping to be able to add more availability to my schedule I always make sure that pets aren't able to get out if they aren't secured on a leash, or in a fenced in yard. I make sure to let other dog walkers know if a dog I'm walking isn't friendly. Temperature and terrain is always taken into account when dog walking

About: I’ve had dogs since I was four years old, and they’ve always been a huge part of my life. Caring for them has never felt like a chore—it’s something I truly love. I’ve always had a special connection with dogs, and my friends and family joke that I’m a “dog whisperer” because dogs seem to gravitate toward me everywhere I go. Whether I’m on vacation or just out running errands, I can’t resist stopping to say hello to every dog I see. I’m also the kind of person who goes to a party and ends up spending most of my time playing with the dogs instead of socializing! I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. My childhood dog recently passed away after 16 wonderful years, and during her senior years I gave her daily medication, made sure our walks were comfortable with plenty of breaks, and, most importantly, gave her all the love and care she deserved. I also have a senior Chihuahua-Poodle mix who needs daily medication and occasional help getting onto the couch or bed, so I’m very comfortable caring for older dogs and understanding their unique needs. I also have a younger dog that I raised and helped potty train, and I’ve taught her several fun tricks, giving me experience with puppies and basic training as well. What sets me apart is that I treat every dog as if they were my own. I pay close attention to their personality, energy level, and routine to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to make every pet feel happy and every owner feel confident knowing their furry family member is in caring hands. Pet care has always been part of my daily routine. I have two dogs of my own, so every day includes feeding them, taking them on walks, giving one of my senior dogs his daily medication, playing with them, and making sure they get plenty of love and attention. I make time in my schedule to ensure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. About: Hi there! I can’t wait to welcome your pet into my home. Dogs and cats who stay here are treated like guests of honor, with all the care and attention I bestow upon my own pets. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, pets are allowed to roam freely in a cozy, familiar home environment — no rows of kenneled dogs here! I’m very selective about the pets I accept. I usually only accept a maximum of 3-4 dogs at once. I meet every new pet before booking, and I usually won’t accept more than one new dog at a time, alongside repeat clients. This ensures that I’m familiar with how all the dogs will interact with each other, with only one new variable, thus avoiding potentially uncomfortable or dangerous situations for your pet. I’ve always loved animals, and with more than 15 years of pet care under my belt, I have the knowledge and experience to provide your pets with the best care possible. I take the responsibility of caring for your pets very seriously, and I’m certified by the American Red Cross in Cat and Dog First Aid. Earliest drop off or pickup is at 8 am. Latest drop off or pickup is at 8 pm on weekdays, 9 pm on weekends. I’m also available for drop-ins at your home, every day except Saturday mornings. (I’m available Saturday evenings instead.) For Dogs: I have a large, unfenced backyard that dogs love exploring on a 50-foot long leash - so many scents to sniff and chipmunks to chase! I’m always there to monitor them - dogs are never left alone outdoors. Every morning, the dogs get a long 1-2 hour walk on a local forest trail (weather permitting) and in the afternoon/evening we have a shorter 15-30 minute walk around the neighborhood or in my backyard. Water is always available, and I work from home so I’m around the majority of the day to keep them happy and safe. What you’ll need to send: Their regular food is the most important thing to send, as dogs can get upset stomach from sudden dietary changes. You can also send their favorite treats, and a favorite toy. If they tend to pull on the leash, a front-latch harness, rubber-tipped prong collar, or gentle leader is appreciated. Bowls, beds, brushes, litter bags etc. are all unnecessary, as I have extras of all these supplies. For puppies, a crate may be necessary, depending on their level of potty training. For Cats: The cats have a comfy lounge downstairs, with food, water, litter boxes, and scratching posts. The dogs are not allowed downstairs, so the cats can get all the space they need from the dogs. The cats are free to move upstairs and downstairs as they prefer. All cats are indoors only. I have a lot of wide, accessible windowsills that they love chilling on to watch birds and squirrels outside, as well as battery-operated and automated toys that they can chase and play with on their own. What you’ll need to send: their regular food (wet and dry) and treats. Cat litter is also appreciated. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and I’m home most of the day. I have a spacious home that can accommodate giving multiple animals space, and I can keep animals separated from each other if necessary. I've always loved animals of all kinds, and I currently have my own dog and 3 cats. I can't wait to meet your pet, and I promise to love them and care for them the way every pet deserves to be loved!
