About: I have the ability to reinforce basic commands like sit, stay, and recall during walks or sitting sessions. I have the ability to channel their boundless energy in a productive way, whether through play or structured exercise. I have a 11 year old pit bull which gives me experience with caring for a senior dog but understanding the slower pace, possible joint pain, or health issues that may require extra care. Being observant of subtle signs of discomfort, such as limping & notifying the owner if needed. Knowledge of how to administration oral medications & liquids. I am currently an entrepreneur which gives me more free time to provide the necessary care for your pet care. With such a flexible schedule I’m able to be available any day & anytime My two dogs are fenced it at home where they have a nice big yard to exercise & run around. I also take them on frequent walks especially the senior dog to be able to be more mobile on his legs.

About: I carry great love for my furry friends. I have been able to work with family friends on giving great care for their little ones With being a college student, I have more flexibility in my schedule and can manage my time with your pets! I have no job at this time but I hope to make pet sitting a full time job. I would begin by securing a steady transition with plenty of familiar items like their favorite toys, bed, and any specific food or treats they enjoy. I will keep up with their day to day routine to make sure they feel comfortable, including regular feeding times, walks, and play time. I’d also make sure to keep a safe environment. I will do reugular updates with photos and messages so they’re always in the loop about how your pet is doing. I will mak sure they feel comfortable and happy until you return.

About: I've been around all sorts of animals since I was a child, firstly with a family dog and also birds of my own, then volunteering at a farm for a number of years, and now being the proud dad of 3 cats and 2 birds! Most recently, my experience and skills as a veterinary assistant and being in school for a veterinary technician degree also gives me much knowledge in care for not only dogs and cats, but all sorts of animals! I'm currently working at a veterinary hospital and have time to fit pets that need attention into my schedule. My work schedule does change weekly, but usually does not impede on any pet that needs my attention. During the week, I will be able to take care of any pets in the morning before work and in the afternoon when I come home after work. If I’m close enough, I can also stop by during my lunch to hang out with any pets that may need extra attention. I have a variety of toys and treats for all size dogs and cats, if it is not available to the owner. I enjoy engaging with the pets I come across to make their experience a fun one and to get to know their different personalities. Another benefit I can offer is the fact that since I also work at an animal hospital, if in the event where a pet needs attention while their owner’s are away, I have the experience and contacts to help with any needs of that pet as soon as possible, with the permission of the owners.

I cannot say enough good things about Liz! I get a detailed summary complete with beautiful pictures of my super happy pup after his walks with her. I work 12 hour shifts and knowing that Liz is coming in to give my fur baby the attention an exercise he needs on the days I'm workingreally takes a huge weight off my shoulders. I love reading her recap of their time together and looking at the pictures of my very happy dog! ♥️

Carly responded quickly to my request to walk my puppy and offered to do a meet and greet prior. She listened to instructions and my puppy seemed to love the time they spent together. Carly definitely has experience with puppies which was a plus for me. I would hire Carly again for walks or house sitting and recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.

About: As a kid, my family would often take care of our friend's dogs, but we never had one of our own. Now, I'm a dad of three young humans and one bundle of fluff named Simba. Oh and let's not forget Victoria, our rabbit. We love havinganimals, and we still love watching other people's animals too. I'm also offering to house-sit, and take other people's dogs (either solo or with my Simba) for walks. I mostly work from home and never leave a dog alone while in my care. We take several walks per day, including morning, lunch, and at least two in the evening. I have a comfortable living space, a nice yard area, nice green space and a park nearby. When dogsitting, I take very little space for myself and leave the space better than when I found it.

About: Hi there! I can’t wait to welcome your pet into my home. Dogs and cats who stay here are treated like guests of honor, with all the care and attention I bestow upon my own pets. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, pets are allowed to roam freely in a cozy, familiar home environment — no rows of kenneled dogs here! I’m very selective about the pets I accept. I usually only accept a maximum of 3-4 dogs at once. I meet every new pet before booking, and I usually won’t accept more than one new dog at a time, alongside repeat clients. This ensures that I’m familiar with how all the dogs will interact with each other, with only one new variable, thus avoiding potentially uncomfortable or dangerous situations for your pet. I’ve always loved animals, and with more than 15 years of pet care under my belt, I have the knowledge and experience to provide your pets with the best care possible. I take the responsibility of caring for your pets very seriously, and I’m certified by the American Red Cross in Cat and Dog First Aid. Earliest drop off or pickup is at 8 am. Latest drop off or pickup is at 8 pm on weekdays, 9 pm on weekends. I’m also available for drop-ins at your home, every day except Saturday mornings. (I’m available Saturday evenings instead.) For Dogs: I have a large, unfenced backyard that dogs love exploring on a 50-foot long leash - so many scents to sniff and chipmunks to chase! I’m always there to monitor them - dogs are never left alone outdoors. Every morning, the dogs get a long 1-2 hour walk on a local forest trail (weather permitting) and in the afternoon/evening we have a shorter 15-30 minute walk around the neighborhood or in my backyard. Water is always available, and I work from home so I’m around the majority of the day to keep them happy and safe. What you’ll need to send: Their regular food is the most important thing to send, as dogs can get upset stomach from sudden dietary changes. You can also send their favorite treats, and a favorite toy. If they tend to pull on the leash, a front-latch harness, rubber-tipped prong collar, or gentle leader is appreciated. Bowls, beds, brushes, litter bags etc. are all unnecessary, as I have extras of all these supplies. For puppies, a crate may be necessary, depending on their level of potty training. For Cats: The cats have a comfy lounge downstairs, with food, water, litter boxes, and scratching posts. The dogs are not allowed downstairs, so the cats can get all the space they need from the dogs. The cats are free to move upstairs and downstairs as they prefer. All cats are indoors only. I have a lot of wide, accessible windowsills that they love chilling on to watch birds and squirrels outside, as well as battery-operated and automated toys that they can chase and play with on their own. What you’ll need to send: their regular food (wet and dry) and treats. Cat litter is also appreciated. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and I’m home most of the day. I have a spacious home that can accommodate giving multiple animals space, and I can keep animals separated from each other if necessary. I've always loved animals of all kinds, and I currently have my own dog and 3 cats. I can't wait to meet your pet, and I promise to love them and care for them the way every pet deserves to be loved!

About: I’ve had two dogs in my lifetime each for 12 years and I’ve always loved to be around them and to make sure they were safe and felt happy. I treat each pet like family. My reliability, calm demeanor and love for animals make both pets and their owners feel at ease. I will walk the dog everyday and I can board dogs every weekend. I have experience taking care of a French bulldog named Randy. Sometimes I go there to take care of him and other times I bring him to my apartment. I have space in our apartment for the dog to roam around and I live in a safe dog friendly neighborhood in which we can take the dog for long walks near a park and a pond.

Alyssa walked our dog for us while we were on vacation. Before our trip, she came to the house to meet our dog. She made sure to clarify any instructions and behavioral quirks to make sure that she could keep our dog safe and give her a good time. Alyssa sent us pictures and updates after each walk. She helped our dog play safely with other dogs that she encountered. We’re lucky to have found her!

About: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them truly brings me joy. I have a cat named Emoji who I have been caring for consistently for the past three years, and I previously had a dog for eight wonderful years who sadly passed away last year. These experiences have taught me patience, attentiveness, and how deep the bond with animals can be. I joined Rover in 2021 and was fortunate to meet an amazing family with two dogs that I worked with for two years. Because of that long-term commitment, I have not been as active on Rover recently, but the family just welcomed a new baby, and I am now looking to connect with a new family and their fur babies. I truly love animals so much that this does not feel like work to me at all. I was in college, but I am back home in New York, which makes being around animals even more special to me. I am very patient, detail-oriented, and playful, and I am more than happy to spend lots of time outside if that is what your pet enjoys. I bring positive energy wherever I go, especially when animals are involved. I would be so grateful for the opportunity to care for your pets and give them the love, attention, and care they deserve. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my profile—I hope to meet you and your pets soon. 🐾 I am available all day and night with anything you need. I am willing to stay the night, walk your dog or cats, as long as it’s okay. I have a fenced yard and a dog myself so they can play around if that’s okay. I have had my dog for 8 years now and it’s grown my love for animals throughout the years.

About: I’ve been surrounded by pets my entire life and have spent the last 7 years providing care for dogs and cats through referrals from friends, family, and neighbors. What sets me apart is the personal attention I give each pet. I treat them like part of my own family. I take the time to understand their routines, personalities, and unique needs to ensure they feel safe, loved, and at ease while you’re away. Whether it’s a playful pup, a shy cat, or a senior pet needing a little extra attention. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are always my top priorities. My remote job allows me the flexibility to build my schedule around the needs of the pets I care for, whether that means early morning walks, midday playtime, or evening check-ins. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in a client’s home, I always strive to create a calm, comfortable, and safe environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any special instructions, this way they feel secure and cared for even when their humans are away.
