“I cannot recommend Melissa and her family enough. From the moment we had a meet and greet with her, I knew Watson would be in amazing hands! After dropping him off, I was updated multiple times a day with pictures, videos, and updates of him living his absolute best life. There was also so much care taken to accommodate him since he had a recent injury that he’s just out of recovery for. They took care of him as if he was their own, even going for walks in the rain! I’m so grateful to have found people so truly caring and who love animals to take care of my little guy! He is currently sound asleep after an adventure filled few nights! I’ll absolutely be booking again in the future! Thank you all again for being incredible ☺️”

“Monica & Kelvin took excellent care of our dogs. They were incredibly prompt and responsive. They also provided daily updates and photos, which was highly appreciated. We will absolutely use them again without hesitation.”

“Sridevi is a great host for my kitten, Mochi! He stayed with them over the holidays. She made him feel at home with lots of care and toys and activities. She provided frequent videos and photos and kept me updated. She also provided video call. Highly recommended!”

“Priscilla is amazing. Clearly a dog person. Very caring and attentive and responsive. She sent us great pictures and kept us updated on how our dog was doing. Highly recommended. We have booked multiple states with her already.”

“Ruby had the time of her life at Brittny's. She was SMILING in photos Brittny sent us. Brittny has a great home with an amazing backyard for the dogs to play in. Her family dog was a great sibling for Ruby. I think Ruby misses Benji! Thank you Brittny and your whole family for taking such good care of our girl. Will definitely board Ruby with you again in the future if possible!”

“Ken and Irene took such great care of our dog! We got daily pictures and were always kept in the loop. We would highly recommend and bring our dog back! He had a great time!”

“Lisa was very kind and caring with my Junie. She sent me texts and pictures and I was put at ease immediately. I would definitely recommend her and look forward to using her services again.”

“Cathy is a wonderful dog sitter! She allowed mocha to explore her house and meet her two dogs before we confirmed our stay. Cathy kept us updated while we were away by sending us daily pictures of Mocha. Mocha looked like she was having fun with the other dogs. She also looked comfortable by resting on the couch or napping on her bed. Cathy listened to all our requests. She definitely made sure Mocha was loved and cared for while Mocha was away from home. We would definitely let Cathy dog sit Mocha again!”

“A very honest review: Celeste is absolutely wonderful. I am military and I had to leave on a mission overseas last minute, and she accommodated my needs and my dog’s needs for an extended stay. I will definitely use her services again, she’s a wonderful pet sitter, she’s very communicative and sent me pictures of my dog and an update daily while I was overseas. Her and her family all love pets and are very caring, this shows as my dog gets very excited to see her, her family, and her pets. She treated my dog as if it was her own.”

“Peiyi and Gregory took great care of our dogs again. This time was for a nine night stay! I received daily updates and our dogs really bonded with them. We’re happy to have found such great care for our pups.”

About: I grew up in a dog‑loving home and had the privilege of caring for several breeds over the years — first a Boxer, then a Siberian Husky, later a German Shepherd/Malamute mix, and eventually a Pomeranian. Being around such different personalities taught me how to understand dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Because of that experience, family, neighbors, and friends have always trusted me to check in on their pets, feed them, play with them, and make sure they feel safe and cared for. No one will be assisting me with care. I also accept rabbits and small pets for boarding. Owners must provide cage, food, and supplies. Because I work from home, I’m able to give your dog consistent attention and care all day long. Whether it’s playtime, potty breaks, or just keeping them company, I’m always close by. I also offer 24/7 boarding availability, ensuring your pet has a safe, supervised environment at all times. Your dog will have plenty of room to feel at home here. I live on an acre of land with a dog run and a peaceful neighborhood that’s ideal for daily walks. There’s even a small pond with geese right across the street, which many dogs find entertaining. Inside, the living room is designated as comfortable, pet‑friendly space where your dog can relax. I also provide a crate for dogs who prefer a cozy, enclosed sleeping area.
“Mickey was great! His entire household was very welcoming and he understood our senior dog’s needs. He was great at keeping us up to date with pictures and texts and made sure Duke was comfortable. Highly recommend!!”

“Amazing host! They offered a meet and greet before boarding. During boarding, they shared many photos and updates such as what they’ve played and their appetite. I felt very comfortable having them watch over my dog.”

“We have had Aeli care for our Lola multiple times when we had to go out of town. Each experience was amazing. Great communication and periodic photos along with a very happy and fun experience for Lola. Will definitely use again.”

“Demetra was amazing!! We loved their family and our pug was so happy! He had such a great time with them and they took such good care of him! I am looking forward to bringing him over again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Monsey
We are thrilled to recommend Monica & Kelvin, who enthusiastically welcomed our 14 year old cocker spaniel Baci to their home! With texts and photos during our vacation, Monica gave us the confidence that we made a great decision in leaving Baci in their care. She made the arrangements for her services easy for us, and she was accommodating in every way. We consider them the perfect dog sitters!

Melvin absolutely LOVES staying at Melissa’s house. He is given so much love and attention. I trust very few people with my pup but I can tell Melissa gets him and makes sure he feels comfortable. I am so relieved I can travel and not worry about him while I’m away.

Melissa and her family are just AMAZING!!!! They took such great care of my dog that I wasn't sure if she'd want to return home :-) I received multiple videos a day that kept me up-to-date on Harley's fun. What a treat to see my dog so happy, playing fetch, going on long walks and snuggling on the couch. She definitely fit right into Melissa's family and I can't thank Melissa (and her family) enough for creating such a friendly, enjoyable atmosphere for my pup.

I’m so happy I found Melissa on Rover! Our dog, Betsy had the BEST time staying at her house for the weekend! Out on hikes, running in and out of creeks, exploring the backyard, and cozy in the house with the family. (+ I didn’t know Betsy was totally ok with cats!) We loved the video and photo updates while we were away. Betsy had so much fun, I kinda want to stay there too next time! 😊 Melissa is a kind soul and will love your pet as if it’s her own. I’m so happy to have met her and her lovely family!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
