“Gilbert was absolutely amazing with Mika. She is a timid rescue puppy (or so I thought) but she was super confident and happy in Gilbert and his pets’ company. She was allowed on all furniture and had access to all outdoor and indoor space. Gilbert himself is very flexible and accommodating. Mika didn’t want to come back home! She made sure to get to know his needs and took great care to calm his nerves while we were away. We could see by the pictures and daily communication with Melissa that Levi was in excellent hands and that he was very comfortable, playing and thriving! As the owners of an older dog with some anxiety, we are always concerned leaving him when we go away. But, all our concerns were alleviated and we know that Levi had a wonderful time on his vacation, too. If we are in need of a sitter in the future, we will definitely call Melissa and don't hesitate to call her if you need a sitter for your pet, too. She is wonderful!”

She has helped me with both of my pets — Lilly, our beautiful Golden Retriever until her death and now, Luna, our 11 year old cat we adopted 3 years ago from the Humane Society. Patricia has many talents AND a special gift with animals (dogs and cats). In 2023, during a 10 month period when I was out-of-state with my father at the end of his life, she stayed in my home and cared for Luna. I did not have a moment of worry. Luna loves her and I knew she was in good hands. By the time I returned home, she had become a very secure and trusting cat — issues to overcome from her earlier living situation. Among other things, she learned to use the scratching post rather than sharpen her claws on the carpet! Patricia had worked her magic. I give her my highest recommendation! She is trustworthy in every way and I feel completely comfortable leaving Luna — as well as my home — in her care. She plays with her, trains her and they have a good time together.
