Pet Sitting in Spring Valley

About: Hi there! I can’t wait to welcome your pet into my home. Dogs and cats who stay here are treated like guests of honor, with all the care and attention I bestow upon my own pets. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, pets are allowed to roam freely in a cozy, familiar home environment — no rows of kenneled dogs here! I’m very selective about the pets I accept. I usually only accept a maximum of 3-4 dogs at once. I meet every new pet before booking, and I usually won’t accept more than one new dog at a time, alongside repeat clients. This ensures that I’m familiar with how all the dogs will interact with each other, with only one new variable, thus avoiding potentially uncomfortable or dangerous situations for your pet. I’ve always loved animals, and with more than 15 years of pet care under my belt, I have the knowledge and experience to provide your pets with the best care possible. I take the responsibility of caring for your pets very seriously, and I’m certified by the American Red Cross in Cat and Dog First Aid. Earliest drop off or pickup is at 8 am. Latest drop off or pickup is at 8 pm on weekdays, 9 pm on weekends. I’m also available for drop-ins at your home, every day except Saturday mornings. (I’m available Saturday evenings instead.) For Dogs: I have a large, unfenced backyard that dogs love exploring on a 50-foot long leash - so many scents to sniff and chipmunks to chase! I’m always there to monitor them - dogs are never left alone outdoors. Every morning, the dogs get a long 1-2 hour walk on a local forest trail (weather permitting) and in the afternoon/evening we have a shorter 15-30 minute walk around the neighborhood or in my backyard. Water is always available, and I work from home so I’m around the majority of the day to keep them happy and safe. What you’ll need to send: Their regular food is the most important thing to send, as dogs can get upset stomach from sudden dietary changes. You can also send their favorite treats, and a favorite toy. If they tend to pull on the leash, a front-latch harness, rubber-tipped prong collar, or gentle leader is appreciated. Bowls, beds, brushes, litter bags etc. are all unnecessary, as I have extras of all these supplies. For puppies, a crate may be necessary, depending on their level of potty training. For Cats: The cats have a comfy lounge downstairs, with food, water, litter boxes, and scratching posts. The dogs are not allowed downstairs, so the cats can get all the space they need from the dogs. The cats are free to move upstairs and downstairs as they prefer. All cats are indoors only. I have a lot of wide, accessible windowsills that they love chilling on to watch birds and squirrels outside, as well as battery-operated and automated toys that they can chase and play with on their own. What you’ll need to send: their regular food (wet and dry) and treats. Cat litter is also appreciated. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and I’m home most of the day. I have a spacious home that can accommodate giving multiple animals space, and I can keep animals separated from each other if necessary. I've always loved animals of all kinds, and I currently have my own dog and 3 cats. I can't wait to meet your pet, and I promise to love them and care for them the way every pet deserves to be loved!

About: I’ve been house sitting/pet sitting since I was around 17 years old. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs. I’ve watched dogs, cats, turtles, lizards, fish and more. I’m familiar with pee pads, crate training and dog diapers. I will always treat your animal with respect and kindness, showing them so much love while you are away. I’m currently not working so I would have plenty of time to be with your furbaby. I do volunteer work during the week but I would still have plenty of time to care and be with your animal. I can walk, play, snuggle, crate train and prepare meals for your animals. You just tell me what the preferred routine is and I’ll do my best to match that so your animal feels safe and loved.

About: Animals have been a part of my life since childhood, from our show dog who was an Irish Wolfhound to being a rescue mom to smaller terriers. I have cared for horses, chickens, bunnies which included pets with special handicaps. With deep empathy and natural connection, I understand animals on an intuitive level. I have trained puppies, comforted seniors and welcomed countless creatures who somehow find their way to my home. Your pet will find a home away from home here with me, safe, loving-and I look forward to offering the same love I show all animals to your beloved pet. All the animals in my home live in harmony together. Some visitors marvel at that fact but it's how I treat each animal with love and care that fosters this environment. All needs are met and everyone is happy! I am home during the day and available to provide attentive care for your pet. I may step out briefly for errands or other chores but will ensure your pet's needs are fully met and they get plenty of company and care. Our home is on one acre with a fenced in yard and great area for walking with lots of trees in a peaceful setting. I have a senior dog (17 yo) that loves company. We also have cats which are friendly and curious.

About: Even if it's just a quick drop in for a potty break, I always make sure your pet gets some extra attention & snuggles. I am meticulous about special dietary needs & medication administration. Right now, I am available during the day mon, thurs, fri, and sun. I can also do evenings all week. Hoping to be able to add more availability to my schedule I always make sure that pets aren't able to get out if they aren't secured on a leash, or in a fenced in yard. I make sure to let other dog walkers know if a dog I'm walking isn't friendly. Temperature and terrain is always taken into account when dog walking

About: As a kid, my family would often take care of our friend's dogs, but we never had one of our own. Now, I'm a dad of three young humans and one bundle of fluff named Simba. Oh and let's not forget Victoria, our rabbit. We love havinganimals, and we still love watching other people's animals too. I'm also offering to house-sit, and take other people's dogs (either solo or with my Simba) for walks. I mostly work from home and never leave a dog alone while in my care. We take several walks per day, including morning, lunch, and at least two in the evening. I have a comfortable living space, a nice yard area, nice green space and a park nearby. When dogsitting, I take very little space for myself and leave the space better than when I found it.

About: My name’s Regina and I have been a dog lover since my family adopted our first dog when I was only 2 years old. She was my best friend, and ever since then, my friends and family have joked that I love dogs more than people! I walk my two dogs on a daily basis, and I know how difficult that can be when working around a busy schedule. I work remotely so I have the flexibility to accommodate you and your dog's schedule. Since I was 13 I have cared for countless dogs of neighbors, friends, and family while the owners were on vacation or even just stuck at work. I know how important my dogs are to me, so I always treat all pets with love and care. I’m comfortable with all sizes and breeds, and would love to help out with your furry best friend! I work remotely so I have flexibility to accommodate your schedule. I'm of course available early morning and evening hours, and can also give your dog attention and exercise mid-day. If your dog is in need of extra attention, I can even work from your home for an agreed-upon rate. I will make sure you dog receives the exercise and attention they need. I will provide plenty of time for walks and/or playing outside in your yard. I always ensure dogs have food and water before leaving as well!

About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats since I was in middle school! My beloved dog, Marley, passed a few years ago and I've taken to spending time at shelters and helping friends and family with their furry friends. I love to make pets feel loved and owners feel at-ease. I work full-time, so I'll be around after 4:30 pm on weekdays. On weekends, I am typically around after noon! I work close-by, so I can always stop by on my lunch break. I can crate dogs if needed, and I am also always happy to do whatever is comfortable for your fur baby at your (and their!) home.

About: As long as I can remember, I have always had animals - big & small dogs, cats - even birds and reptiles. When I am not spending time with my own dogs, I volunteer at my local animal shelter - taking the dogs on field trips, teaching them manners and helping them cope with the stress of shelter life. I also foster cats and kittens for the shelter. I do have a certification for dog training, however, the real learning comes from the constant interaction with the dogs on a daily basis. I am available most evenings during the week and most mornings on the weekends. Later times on the weekends could be available as long as I can get to the animal shelter. I would follow the client's instructions when taking care of their animals. I would abide by their routine, their walk schedule and their animals needs.
