Animals have been a part of my life since childhood, from our show dog who was an Irish Wolfhound to being a rescue mom to smaller terriers. I have cared for horses, chickens, bunnies which includes pets with special handicaps. With deep empathy and natural connection, I understand animals on an intuitive level. I have trained puppies, comforted seniors and welcomed countless creatures who somehow find their way to my home. Your pet will find a home away from home here with me, safe, loving-and I look forward to offering the same love I show all animals to your beloved pet. All the animals in my home live in harmony together. Some visitors marvel at that fact but it's how I treat each animal with love and care that fosters this environment. I am a loving pet owner with a genuine passion for animals, and believe that when your dog stays with me, they should feel like they’re on vacation—a fun, staycation away from home! I have a senior dog called Texas who is a little sheriff around here! She likes to watch the scene as it makes her feel like part of the action. At nearly 18 years old, she is still going strong and wants to just do doggy things! By having other dogs around, it keeps her active and mentally stimulated. My home is a warm, clean and comfortable space. I offer lots of attention, affection and fun! WHY DOGS LOVE STAYING WITH ME I provide a safe home environment where dogs become part of the daily lives of my family. Your pup will enjoy plenty of companionship, attention, playtime, and opportunities to relax. Because I spend so much time at home, your dog won’t simply be dropped off and left alone for long periods. They’ll be part of the action! Every dog is different, so I take the time to get to know each guest and their unique personality, routine, and preferences. I have a lot of experience with many different breeds of dogs. We like to think of our dogs as perfect but they all have that little things they do! I know their quirks (I see you counter surfers!) and emotional needs (I see you doodles!) It is very helpful to know all about your pet before they arrive here for their stay. Whether your pup is energetic and playful, loves long walks, enjoys making new friends, or would rather curl up for a cozy nap. Also, if they eat tissues, or garbage dip or counter surf? We can accommodate all different personalities with proper notice. Not everyone is perfect! I will do my best to make them feel comfortable and happy. We can also discuss at quick 15 minute meet and greet which is required for any boardings with me. For first time guests on longer stays over 7 days, an overnight experience is required. (Exceptions can made for out of town guests or emergencies!) A TYPICAL DAY A stay with me includes plenty of opportunities for: * Outdoor potty breaks and fresh air * Playtime and enrichment * Walks and exercise * Relaxation and cozy nap time * One-on-one attention * Plenty of cuddles and affection * Supervised social time with other compatible dogs Drop-offs can be a range of emotions for your dog- from excited, to curious to overwhelm as they enter a new situation. I have guided even the most frightened dog to love coming to my home! I love seeing each dog’s personality shine as they get to know and trust me! I TREAT EVERY DOG LIKE FAMILY I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I will reassure you that your pup is having a good time with communication that includes updates and photos/videos. I love sending updates and photos so you can see your dog enjoying their stay. You can relax knowing your furry family member is receiving lots of love and attention while you’re away. My goal is simple: I want your dog to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and excited to come back! WHAT TO BRING To help your dog enjoy a comfortable stay, please bring: * Regular food including favorite snack * Special bed * Any necessary medications * A leash, collar, or harness * Any important instructions regarding their routine I have plenty of bowls, blankets, and doggy bags, so there’s no need to overpack! Bring as little or as much as your pup needs. Whether you’re traveling, heading out for the day, having a dinner party or simply need someone trustworthy to care for your best friend, I would love to welcome them into my home. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! While I am during the day and available to provide attentive care for your pet. I may step out briefly for errands or other chores but will ensure your pet's needs are fully met. Our home is on one acre with a fenced in yard and great area for walking with lots of trees in a peaceful setting. I have a senior dog (17+ yo) that loves company. We also have cats which are friendly and curious.

About: Pups have been a huge part of my life ever since I was a child. Besides taking care of my own dogs throughout my life, I’ve also been a reliable contact for any friends, family and/or local households who need anything pet related- anything from a quick potty break to a extended overnight care! About: I was raised around all kinds of animals, as my grandparents were true animal lovers. They had everything from chimpanzees and Great Danes to goats, so my love for animals has always been in my blood. I also raised my own Wheaten Terrier for 16 years, and after recently losing him, I’ve really been missing the companionship and love that comes with having a dog around. While this is a job, it feels like so much more to me. It’s an opportunity to have that companionship again while giving your pup the love, care, and attention they deserve. I’ve always felt a strong connection with animals, and they seem to feel that connection with me too! I like to meet with owners beforehand so you can get to know me and feel comfortable trusting me with your fur baby. It also gives me a chance to get to know your pup and start building a relationship with them. I am available for at home visits and walks. I currently have availability any weekday at any time. I am also available on weekends with advanced notice. My Wheaten Terrier had breathing attacks and seizures towards the end of his life. I am in tune with how to provide care under these circumstances. I will treat your dogs as if they are my own and shower them with love. I am also happy to help with special needs animals. About: *** Please don't send me requests for dates if you see my calendar is already blocked off with those dates & PLEASE READ MY ENTIRE PROFILE BEFORE BOOKING *** I keep my calendar up to date so use other dates if Rover insists you must pick dates for sitting in order for a message to go thru** Also, if booking for day care, after 4 hours of a stay, this is going to get the full day rate because I do not take multiple dogs I am also charging for 3 days when it's a weekend if the dog is coming early on Friday and going home on Sunday because I can't have a dog for 3 days and only get paid for 2 days. Everyone that knows me, knows that I am the ultimate pet lover and treated my dogs as well as my children. We have a nice home in River Vale, NJ with a huge 6' high fenced in yard. I am married with triplets - 22 years old and they love playing with our guest dogs. I have my own big crate set up (only if you crate your dog) and ready to welcome your dog(s) into my home when you need to be away overnight or for an extended period of time. I will do my best to keep your treasured pet on their own schedule with feedings, playtime and time outside running around the back yard or if you prefer, walks only. I've made floor dogs into lap dogs, they get extra spoiled with me! You will also get lots of photos & updates when you are away. I just recently changed my setting to small to medium dogs if you are a repeat customer and can not find me on line. I'm also available for dog day care in my home if my calendar is free. About: I grew up always surrounded by pets. I have experience walking, feeding and bathing dogs ever since I was a little kid. I’m also experienced with kittens because of my own three that I have cared for. Im working part time past 5pm so Im usually always available during the afternoons and mornings for visits. Including during weekends. I don’t mind anytime up to 5pm. I can easily crate and uncrate dogs as well as walking and feeding. I’m relatively experienced in those areas and there’s not much I can’t do. I can also care for cats, even clean litter boxes

About: If you're looking for a dog-lover and loyal caretaker, I'm here for you and your pet! I'm happy to provide a loving space for your pet while you travel, or walks when needed. I work from home mostly--I am in the office two days a week (every Tuesday and Wednesday.) All other days I am flexible with my schedule. Pets are welcome on my furniture--while they are here, they are free to make themselves comfortable! Playtime, walks and car rides (if they like them) are encouraged.
