“We have 4 indoor cats and feed about 6-8 feral cats off our deck. Our Grand daughter always sat for us but just had a baby. Now, no sitter at all. We were desperate to go away after a year of Covid. I found Rover.com on Google and thought I would give it a try. I chose 2 sitters, Jocelyn was the 1st. She was wonderful! We met her ahead of time and showed her around the house and introduced her to the cats. I sent her a photo of each with their names for identification. Feeding 4 cats, filling their water and cleaning their litter is a lot. Checking around for throw up or something broken during play, picking up the mail and checking water & food for the ferals was ALOT of work. Big Mama stays in the basement, her choice, and has special needs with a problem front leg and paw. Special attention is needed there. Jocelyn handled all of them just fine. She checked in daily and sent photos daily, kept us abreast of who's doing what. One cat hid in the closet for 2 days and Jocelyn called me because she had not seen her. I guided her through the house and she finally found her in the back of the closet. After meeting her we knew she was going to be fine and after our 1st "check in" we had such piece of mind and had a great vacation. We will use her again and we highly recommend using her services. She stopped over to return our key and Nikki, one of our cats ran right to her talking away to her. It really was a great experience.”

About: I’ve had two dogs in my lifetime each for 12 years and I’ve always loved to be around them and to make sure they were safe and felt happy. I treat each pet like family. My reliability, calm demeanor and love for animals make both pets and their owners feel at ease. I will walk the dog everyday and I can board dogs every weekend. I have experience taking care of a French bulldog named Randy. Sometimes I go there to take care of him and other times I bring him to my apartment. I have space in our apartment for the dog to roam around and I live in a safe dog friendly neighborhood in which we can take the dog for long walks near a park and a pond.

Marshall was our first family dog, Roberta grew up with multiple dogs caring for them from pups through seniors. Additionally, our 6 year-old daughter has enough energy to provide tons of additional fetch and chase time. We also have a 1 year old that can’t wait to get in on the action! We are able to (and love) having pups with special needs. Marshall's best friend was blind and we cared for him on many occasions. We can also administer medications and prepare specialized meals when needed. We have a large backyard that allows for plenty of jaunts and potty breaks. As well as plenty of space in the house for quiet time and naps. Your pup will have full access to make themselves comfortable in their home away from home. Travis works from home allowing for full time care. Roberta is a teacher nearby and is home early to allow for additional time and attention. We are able to fit your pup into our daily feeding, potty, play schedule or can adjust to meet their needs. In our home, your pets are treated like family. They'll enjoy a cozy environment with plenty of playtime in our large yard or indoors if it's too hot/cold. They'll have plenty of play time if they like or space to chill if that's what they prefer. Your pet will have access to our home to nap and play wherever they feel comfortable, and we also have the space to crate if, that's your preference.

When I was younger, I even started my own neighborhood dog-walking service, handing out flyers and building relationships with local families who trusted me to enter their homes and walk and care for their dogs regularly. I’m extremely comfortable around dogs of all sizes and personalities, as well as cats. I’m active, dependable, and patient, and my background in coaching has made me very responsible, consistent, and comfortable handling different personalities and energy levels. I’ll treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure owners always feel comfortable and updated while their pet is in my care. I currently work remotely, which gives me flexibility for walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. I’m especially available in the mornings, midday, and early afternoons, and I can often accommodate recurring weekly schedules. I’m also available for select evenings and weekends depending on the booking. I take every pet’s safety and routine seriously. I’m comfortable entering clients’ homes, following detailed feeding and care instructions, handling leashes and harnesses, and caring for dogs of different sizes and energy levels. I always make sure doors and gates are secure, keep pets supervised, and provide updates so owners know their pet is safe and well cared for.

About: I grew up in a family used to dogs and cats who have lovingly owned us 😁. I personally have owned mostly cats as I live in a building that does not allow dogs. I have experience in administering medication as well. I work per diem at West Point Military Academy and would not accept a house sitting or walking assignment unless I was truly available the days needed. I love to walk and am very active, so I have absolutely no problem with taking your dog out for walks and playing. My priority is to make sure your pet is secure and loved while you are away.

About: I've been a dog owner for 20 wonderful years, dogs are my passion! They love me and I love them, from puppies to seniors, toys to giants. I am lucky have a fenced in, wooded, private, 2 acre property with plenty of room for zoomies. Boarding dogs is my main gig, so I stay home with them all day and night. They are never unsupervised, inside or outside my property. I live in a safe, wooded, quiet, 2 acre, fenced-in lot. There are lots of dogs on my block who love to socialize and have play dates if that's what your dog is into. I'm at the end of a dirt road, nowhere near any traffic, so it is very safe and private.
