About: I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes at a pet care facility for over 2 years. I also have an animal science degree and have worked with many animals especially cats, dogs, and horses. l would love to get to know your furry friend! I’m a recent college graduate currently taking a gap year before graduate school. This means I have plenty of time to follow your schedule, and take care of your furry friends. I have experience giving pilled medications, and have also administered insulin for a diabetic dog. I can prepare raw food or kibble with any supplements or toppers you’d like. Additionally, I love to teach dogs new fun tricks and playing fetch in the yard.

About: Hi! I am a lifelong animal lover with decades of experience caring for pets- my own, as well as those of friends and family. To me, pets are family- and I understand just how much they mean to the people who love them. That's why I believe it's so important to have someone you trust, that will care for your pets with the same love & attention that you would. I'm here to be that person . I work from home so this gives me the flexibility to provide consistent care- whether it is walks, feedings, or check-ins. I'm able to adapt to their needs. I do have a fenced in yard; but I like to create a calm, safe space for my animals and I have a routine to ensure consistency. And not to mention, that they get lots of love and attention!

About: I have watched pets most of my life of friends, and family. I take the time to get to know their personalities, routines, and special needs, because I believe every pet deserves personalized care and attention. I have a traditional 9–5 job Monday to Thursday and work from home on Fridays. Morning would feed and walk. Lunch would be midday walk, which my job is about 10 minute from home. Evening would be walk, spending play time and evening feeding. Weekends I’m home spending time with pet. I have plenty of room to accommodate your pets space. I can also crate if you want. I also have a large front yard for play time. There are sidewalks all through town, which is close to my home for walks.

I can’t recommend Helene enough! She is incredibly reliable, caring, and truly loves animals. My chunky Staffy Luna loved her the moment she met her and didn't even want to come back to me lol. She gets so excited every time she arrives, and I always feel at ease knowing Luna is in great hands. She even drives her to a trail near my house, ensuring plenty of exercise, playtime, and even sending me updates and photos. If you're looking for a responsible and loving dog walker, Helene is the best and is very accomadating!

About: Animals have been a part of my life since childhood, from our show dog who was an Irish Wolfhound to being a rescue mom to smaller terriers. I have cared for horses, chickens, bunnies which included pets with special handicaps. With deep empathy and natural connection, I understand animals on an intuitive level. I have trained puppies, comforted seniors and welcomed countless creatures who somehow find their way to my home. Your pet will find a home away from home here with me, safe, loving-and I look forward to offering the same love I show all animals to your beloved pet. All the animals in my home live in harmony together. Some visitors marvel at that fact but it's how I treat each animal with love and care that fosters this environment. All needs are met and everyone is happy! I am home during the day and available to provide attentive care for your pet. I may step out briefly for errands or other chores but will ensure your pet's needs are fully met and they get plenty of company and care. Our home is on one acre with a fenced in yard and great area for walking with lots of trees in a peaceful setting. I have a senior dog (17 yo) that loves company. We also have cats which are friendly and curious.

About: I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals over the past 10 years, including raising my own Bichon Frise for 8 years and hosting a British Shorthair cat in my home for 2 years. Friends and family often turn to me to help care for their pets—dogs, cats, and even more unusual animals—because they know I’m attentive, patient, and genuinely passionate about animals. Whether it’s walking, feeding, bathing, or just giving lots of love and playtime, I’m experienced and trustworthy. I’m currently on summer break from school, so I’m available every day to care for your dog or cat. With a flexible schedule, I can give them plenty of attention and playtime throughout the day. My home has a spacious living room where your pup can play freely and safely. I’ll be by their side to keep them company, make them feel comfortable, and ensure they’re happy and cared for at all times. About: I’ve pet sat for neighbors’ dogs of all ages since high school, and I’m comfortable with daily walks, feeding, playtime, and cleaning up waste. I’m also very routine-focused—I stick closely to your dog’s schedule so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I grew up with a mutt who recently passed, so I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy, lovin, and caring for your dog. I’ll treat your pup like my own and provide daily updates with photos, plus quick notes on meals and how their day went. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to accommodate a variety of pet care needs. I work Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons into early evenings, and Sunday mornings into early afternoon. Outside of those hours, I’m available for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and extended visits. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and provide consistent care, along with daily updates and photos so you feel confident while you’re away. 🐾📸 When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, and any household rules you have in place. I make sure your pet always has fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of attention and comfort. For dogs, I’m careful with leash safety, door safety, and picking up waste on every walk. For cats, I keep litter boxes clean, make sure doors and windows stay secure, and respect their comfort level—whether they want playtime or quiet companionship.

About: Hi there! I can’t wait to welcome your pet into my home. Dogs and cats who stay here are treated like guests of honor, with all the care and attention I bestow upon my own pets. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, pets are allowed to roam freely in a cozy, familiar home environment — no rows of kenneled dogs here! I’m very selective about the pets I accept. I usually only accept a maximum of 3-4 dogs at once. I meet every new pet before booking, and I usually won’t accept more than one new dog at a time, alongside repeat clients. This ensures that I’m familiar with how all the dogs will interact with each other, with only one new variable, thus avoiding potentially uncomfortable or dangerous situations for your pet. I’ve always loved animals, and with more than 15 years of pet care under my belt, I have the knowledge and experience to provide your pets with the best care possible. I take the responsibility of caring for your pets very seriously, and I’m certified by the American Red Cross in Cat and Dog First Aid. Earliest drop off or pickup is at 8 am. Latest drop off or pickup is at 8 pm on weekdays, 9 pm on weekends. I’m also available for drop-ins at your home, every day except Saturday mornings. (I’m available Saturday evenings instead.) For Dogs: I have a large, unfenced backyard that dogs love exploring on a 50-foot long leash - so many scents to sniff and chipmunks to chase! I’m always there to monitor them - dogs are never left alone outdoors. Water is always available, and I work from home so I’m around the majority of the day to keep them happy and safe. What you’ll need to send: Their regular food is the most important thing to send, as dogs can get upset stomach from sudden dietary changes. You can also send their favorite treats, and a favorite toy. If they tend to pull on the leash, a front-latch harness, rubber-tipped prong collar, or gentle leader is appreciated. Bowls, beds, brushes, litter bags etc. are all unnecessary, as I have extras of all these supplies. For puppies, a crate may be necessary, depending on their level of potty training. For Cats: The cats have a comfy lounge downstairs, with food, water, litter boxes, and scratching posts. The dogs are not allowed downstairs, so the cats can get all the space they need from the dogs. The cats are free to move upstairs and downstairs as they prefer. All cats are indoors only. I have a lot of wide, accessible windowsills that they love chilling on to watch birds and squirrels outside, as well as battery-operated and automated toys that they can chase and play with on their own. What you’ll need to send: their regular food (wet and dry) and treats. Cat litter is also appreciated. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible and I’m home most of the day. I have a spacious home that can accommodate giving multiple animals space, and I can keep animals separated from each other if necessary. I've always loved animals of all kinds, and I currently have my own dog and 3 cats. I can't wait to meet your pet, and I promise to love them and care for them the way every pet deserves to be loved!

About: As a kid, my family would often take care of our friend's dogs, but we never had one of our own. Now, I'm a dad of three young humans and one bundle of fluff named Simba. Oh and let's not forget Victoria, our rabbit. We love havinganimals, and we still love watching other people's animals too. I'm also offering to house-sit, and take other people's dogs (either solo or with my Simba) for walks. I mostly work from home and never leave a dog alone while in my care. We take several walks per day, including morning, lunch, and at least two in the evening. I have a comfortable living space, a nice yard area, nice green space and a park nearby. When dogsitting, I take very little space for myself and leave the space better than when I found it.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
