About: I have been taking care of pets for over 20 years, starting with my first job as a dog walker and pet sitter. I have continued this on the side in addition to my full-time profession (teacher) and would love to provide an open door for your dog(s) as well! My schedule is very fluid and I get multiple breaks throughout the day, so there will be very little alone time for your dog, however, as a teacher and a coach I have some weekdays that are busier and your dog may be left in the home for 2.5 hour windows until I return from coaching. I will ask you to provide any specifics in terms of pet care for your dog prior to having me pet-sit, unless there are no special requests. If no special requests are given, I take the dogs out about 4 times per day - twice for short bathroom trips, one short walk, and one extended walk. If the dog is older or lower energy I will adjust the extended walk to another short walk.

“Alison was great. She was very kind and patient even though my pup was having a hard time with his first time walk. She contacted me and let me know the situation. Excellent communication and follow through. Truly a professional! Thank you Alison!”

About: Life-long pet owner and family man. I am also an avid hiker and nature lover. Currently the owner of a friendly 110 lb. Golden Retriever named Tobie. I take him on an hour walk in the woods (Blauvelt State Park) everyday...rain or shine. My backyard actually borders the State Park, and I personally maintain several trails out there. Tobie is as strong as an ox...but I handle him without any issues. Tobie loves other dogs. I'm recently retired (pro photographer by trade). Aside from my daily walk in the woods with Tobie, I have all the time in the world, on my hands. My dog has the rule of the house. Nothing is off-limits. I have an in-ground pool and thus a fenced in backyard. Tobie honestly uses the pool more than the family.

“Another amazing experience with Elizabeth. Gives me updates and works with Timmy to fix his pulling. Highly recommended and will be using from now on.”

About: I have the ability to reinforce basic commands like sit, stay, and recall during walks or sitting sessions. I have the ability to channel their boundless energy in a productive way, whether through play or structured exercise. I have a 11 year old pit bull which gives me experience with caring for a senior dog but understanding the slower pace, possible joint pain, or health issues that may require extra care. Being observant of subtle signs of discomfort, such as limping & notifying the owner if needed. Knowledge of how to administration oral medications & liquids. I am currently an entrepreneur which gives me more free time to provide the necessary care for your pet care. With such a flexible schedule I’m able to be available any day & anytime My two dogs are fenced it at home where they have a nice big yard to exercise & run around. I also take them on frequent walks especially the senior dog to be able to be more mobile on his legs.

“Prompt and good communicating about my pet's walks. She and Ms Ziggy got along great and I'd gladly have Aaliyah take care of her in the future!”

About: Love both dogs and cats. I do not have “professional” experience, but have owned dogs my entire life. My last dog passed away 2 years ago from cancer and I miss having a furry friend, so would enjoy taking care of yours. My entire family loves animals, so your pet will be well loved and cared for. I do have children, so the dogs or cats I would be able to board will have to be child friendly pets. I have experience with large dogs, pit bulls, mastiffs and small dogs, Pomeranians. I also understand the anxiety pets go through when separated from their owners, so I will make sure to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible. Basically care for your dog as I would want my dog cared for.

“Cheryl T is great and took good care of my dog. I called her once for dog walking and she managed so well that I utilized her service again. Our dog is difficult to handle but she breezed thru smoothly. I highly recommend Cheryl and will definitely be utilizing her care again!”

About: ive been surrounded by dogs since i was born. i grew up loving all animals but i am a HUGE dog person. before moving out of my parents home, we had adopted a lab mix named sage, she is about 2 1/2 years old now and has been completely house trained since having her for only 2 ish months. i trained her completely by myself and she is my best friend. since im not able to see her as often, i need to fill the doggy shaped hole in my heart. i work some tuesdays and wednesday-saturday at a hair salon in nanuet. i am always off monday so while youre off at work, i can keep your furbaby company. since i work so often, im unable to get a pup for myself. i live in a one bed apartment on the second floor right in the heart of nyack. pets are allowed and i have already run it by the landlord. i will keep toys and food in the apartment (if theres a specific brand you like, please let me know). your pet can make my home their home! i dont mind dogs on the couch and if they have an accident, thats okay! these things happen! i want them to feel as comfortable as possible.

About: I absolutely love dogs and believe they deserve patience, care, and plenty of playtime. While I search for a full-time job, I have extra time to give dogs the attention and exercise they need. I never blame a dog for bad behavior—it’s all about how they’re trained and understood. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just good company, I’ll make sure your dog is happy and well cared for! Since I am currently looking for a full-time job, caring for a dog can fit naturally into my routine by giving structure to my day while keeping me active. I can schedule walks and playtime around job searching and interviews. Plus, spending time with dogs can be a great way to reduce stress and stay motivated. I can offer a safe, loving, and fun environment for dogs. I have a big fenced-in yard gives them plenty of space to run and play, and I have two friendly dogs that can provide great companionship. Plus, i truly understand dogs—I’m patient, and my two kids love dogs too and my husband won’t admit it but he loves caring for dogs too, he has never missed an episode of Cesar Milan.

“Jacqueline is so patient with my pups! She is punctual, really cares by giving them new water after each walk, and attends to them while giving them so much love! I love Jacqueline just as much as I love my dogs!”
