“Melissa has been everything we could hope for - and more - in a pet sitter. She is kind, professional, loving, and patient with our young puppy. We were initially nervous to leave Ruby for the first time, but Melissa’s home is a safe, fun, and relaxing haven filled with just the right balance of play and stimulation. She keeps us updated often, and Ruby always comes home happy and excited to return the next day. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!”

“Lauren is a pet lovers dream! She was quick to respond and has the energy of golden retriever puppy! She was kind and warm and loving towards our 1year old black lab. Zin, our dog , passed out when she got into the car after her play date with Lauren and George her pug. It was the perfect place for an energetic pup and she sent the most precious pictures !”
About: I’ve had dogs in my life since the fourth grade, and I truly can’t remember a time without one! Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds—whether for neighbors, family, friends, or even friends of friends. I’ve cared for puppies up to senior pups.Dogs have always been a part of my everyday life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We absolutely adore our Chihuahua, Romeo, and we’d care for your furry friend just like we care for him — with love, patience, and lots of cuddles. My husband and I split our work-from-home days, so someone’s almost always around during the week, and we're both home on weekends. We do not go out much. We are home bodies and like it that way. I have a fully wooden fenced with chicken wire backyard and live in a quiet, dog friendly neighborhood with very little traffic. If your pup needs a crate, that’s totally fine we can manage that otherwise, they’re welcome to roam free and make themselves at home. We only have one resident dog, a sweet little Chihuahua whose favorite activity is sunbathing and napping.

“Travis and Roberta were critical in helping us get our dog settled the first week we had him! They were so kind and patient with him. He loved going over to their house when we couldn’t be home! Their dog was older than ours and was also patient and gentle with him, so it was great socialization for our pup! We will definitely be booking with them again in the future!”

“Michelle was great with my pup. She even took our booking same day as I was in a pinch. My pup had a great time with her pup. She sent pictures and updates throughout the day. I will definitely look for her to watch my pup again! Thanks Michelle!”

“Catherine is such a sweetheart - she went above and beyond to assure me she would care for my pup as if she was one of their own. It’s always pretty stressful to leave my pup with a brand new sitter for the first time, and I’m grateful that Catherine made this so easy and welcomed Carli into their home.”

“Donnie and Rasheedat are great! Luna loved her time with them and we are looking forward to her upcoming overnight stay. Thanks for the photos and taking such good care of her.”

About: Dog sitting has become the best full time job here! I have never been paid to dog walk/sit and only have purely out of love for all animals. I started volunteering for family friends and neighbors at a young age and will never say no to hanging out with a furry friend. No size or breed scare me - all are welcome (: Boarding - I am home everyday and have full availability to watch and care for pups. Yard is moderately sized and property is pretty private with our only 3 neighbors all across the street. I have many repeated clients outside of rover and we’re constantly rotating dogs so expect your pup to make furry friends during their stay! For walks - my schedule is extremely flexible at the moment, preferably mornings and late afternoons. Tuesday and Wednesday evenings are not ideal but can possibly work. Sunday mornings do not work. I have a mini goldendoodle living in my studio apartment. She is shy but warms up quickly to new pups. My apartment is the lower half of my dad’s house in a private wooded area on a hill overlooking the Hudson River. I am a free range sitter so pups are allowed on sofa and bed unless I’m given specific instructions which I happily will follow.
About: After losing my own dog to natural causes, I now seek to care for other pets with the same love, attention, and joy I gave to her. I’m active, patient, and genuinely enjoy bonding with animals - whether it’s through play, walks, or simply being a comforting presence. I work for myself as a brand designer, so I have a flexible schedule and love giving pets the time and attention they deserve between projects. Otherwise, I’d be cooped up indoors and I think getting outside with a furry friend is a much healthier (and happier) way to spend the day. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or theirs, safety and comfort always come first. I stick closely to your pet’s routine, respect house rules, and create a calm, clean environment where they can relax. I pay attention to details like securing gates, keeping walk areas clear, and giving plenty of affection so you can feel confident they’re in good hands.
About: I've had three dogs of my own and loved many others. I have also had eight cats. I've been pet sitting for friends for years, and I really enjoy getting to spend time with more animals. I work from home as a travel agent, so I have time to spend with animals. I am available in the mornings and early afternoons until my boys come home from school. Our dog was traumatized when she got attacked by a dog of leash. She is slowly getting over her fear and has been doing well with other dogs in our home. We never leave the dogs alone together when we are not present.
About: Hi there! My husband and I are both new to Rover due to the most recent job change. We are proud dog parents to two well-trained pups, aged 4 and 5. We’ve raised them since they were just 2 months old, and they’ve grown into playful, gentle companions. Our love for dogs runs deep, and we’d be thrilled to welcome your furry friend into our home. As a courtesy, we offer a gentle shower at the end of each boarding to keep your pup fresh and happy. I am currently working from home and I have time to play with them all day in the backyard. Training can be provided upon request I have a fenced backyard and two friendly dogs to have your fur baby company. We also share your baby’s daily activities via videos and photos.
“Aeli is an amazing sitter. I try to choose sitters who have their own dogs so my own can socialize. I think (since I can’t read her mind) my pup had a great time. Aeli sent numerous pictures which were greatly appreciated. We will definitely book again!”

“Such a great experience on short notice. I reached out just a few days before and Brittny was responsive and accommodating. She did great having my dog meet the other dogs in the space and my dog had a great time. She definitely came back tired!”
