“Tatiana was wonderful with my cats and would definitely get her to sit them again. She's very diligent, thorough, and reliable. She goes beyond what is expected of her. Always sent very good pictures, videos, and summary of her time spent with my kitties.”

About: I've been a dog owner for 20 wonderful years, dogs are my passion! They love me and I love them, from puppies to seniors, toys to giants. I am lucky have a fenced in, wooded, private, 2 acre property with plenty of room for zoomies. My beagle, Piglet, is also a fine hostess. She loves to have canine company to play with, then snuggle with us and relax at my comfy, quiet home together. Piglet is my sweet rescue senior beagle. She's friendly, quiet and submissive. She has the final say on who may enter Her Queendom. Dogs are my main gig, so I will be with your babies almost 24/7. When I go out, I bring Piglet and friends along with me everywhere I can, especially to parks, trails and forests. But if your dog is more of a homebody, I can easily stay home with them all day. I live in a safe, wooded, quiet, 2 acre, fenced-in lot. There are lots of dogs on my block who love to socialize and have play dates if that's what your dog is into. I'm at the end of a dirt road, nowhere near any traffic, so it is very safe and private.
About: I have been caring for my own dog for several years and have also looked after the dogs of friends and family members. Through this experience, I have become comfortable with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. I am responsible, patient, and attentive to each pet’s needs, whether that means feeding, walking, playing, or simply providing companionship As a student, I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time to caring for your pets. I am available for dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and daily care. I understand how important it is to keep pets on their normal routine and will make sure they receive the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have experience caring for my own dog and have also cared for dogs belonging to friends and family. I will carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, and routines. I am responsible, dependable.
About: As a kid, my family would often take care of our friend's dogs, but we never had one of our own. Now, I'm a dad of three young humans and one bundle of fluff named Simba. Oh and let's not forget Victoria, our rabbit. We love havinganimals, and we still love watching other people's animals too. I'm also offering to house-sit, and take other people's dogs (either solo or with my Simba) for walks. I mostly work from home and never leave a dog alone while in my care. We take several walks per day, including morning, lunch, and at least two in the evening. I have a comfortable living space, a nice yard area, nice green space and a park nearby. When dogsitting, I take very little space for myself and leave the space better than when I found it.
“Cheryl was great with our little Nylah and fed our fish. She came everyday to feed her, give her treats and got along so well with her. We loved receiving the picture updates as well. Would recommend Cheryl to anyone she is amazing!!!”

I’m also very routine-focused—I stick closely to your dog’s schedule so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I grew up with a mutt who recently passed, so I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy, lovin, and caring for your dog. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, and any household rules you have in place. I make sure your pet always has fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of attention and comfort. For dogs, I’m careful with leash safety, door safety, and picking up waste on every walk. For cats, I keep litter boxes clean, make sure doors and windows stay secure, and respect their comfort level—whether they want playtime or quiet companionship.

About: I strive to make the lives of our furry friends as fulfilling and fun as possible! I'm very comfortable taking care of any pet, and I have taken care of senior animals who require insulin shots and meticulous diets. One of my favorite electives at university was my 'Psychology of our Pets' class where we learned about how to best care for our furry friends and keep them active and healthy. I have owned dogs, cats, and even birds! Since I'm home from university for the summer, I'm pretty much available at the drop of a dime! While I would prefer a day's notice, I should be able to take care of your pet within two hours of your request. I believe that activities and fun are just as important for pets as they are for humans. Who wants to be stuck in their house all day? I know tons of dog-friendly walking trails, and I'd love to spend a few hours with them & make sure they are well-exercised. I've dealt with a lot of dietary restrictions for pets, so I can follow any directions very closely if needed. For Cats/Kittens, I have a few toys I'd be happy to bring, and even a harness if they want to explore outside for a few minutes!

About: Hi parents! My name is Ashley and I'm a very trustworthy and outgoing person. Having shared my life with pets, I understand the profound connection between humans and animals, and this forms the foundation of my exceptional care. My personal history with pets, ranging from energetic puppies to wise seniors, has shown me an understanding of the diverse needs each furry friend has. I can't wait to work with you and your pets! I have plenty of time during to week for work with our fur friends so please reach out and we could always work something out! I'm very flexible. Communication is key, and I keep you updated with regular updates and photos, ensuring peace of mind while you are away. My goal is to create a stress-free and enjoyable experience for both pets and their owners!

About: I’ve had dogs since I was four years old, and they’ve always been a huge part of my life. Caring for them has never felt like a chore—it’s something I truly love. I’ve always had a special connection with dogs, and my friends and family joke that I’m a “dog whisperer” because dogs seem to gravitate toward me everywhere I go. Whether I’m on vacation or just out running errands, I can’t resist stopping to say hello to every dog I see. I’m also the kind of person who goes to a party and ends up spending most of my time playing with the dogs instead of socializing! I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. My childhood dog recently passed away after 16 wonderful years, and during her senior years I gave her daily medication, made sure our walks were comfortable with plenty of breaks, and, most importantly, gave her all the love and care she deserved. I also have a senior Chihuahua-Poodle mix who needs daily medication and occasional help getting onto the couch or bed, so I’m very comfortable caring for older dogs and understanding their unique needs. I also have a younger dog that I raised and helped potty train, and I’ve taught her several fun tricks, giving me experience with puppies and basic training as well. What sets me apart is that I treat every dog as if they were my own. I pay close attention to their personality, energy level, and routine to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to make every pet feel happy and every owner feel confident knowing their furry family member is in caring hands. Pet care has always been part of my daily routine. I have two dogs of my own, so every day includes feeding them, taking them on walks, giving one of my senior dogs his daily medication, playing with them, and making sure they get plenty of love and attention. Spending time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy, so caring for pets doesn’t feel like a task—it’s one of the best parts of my day. I make time in my schedule to ensure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I’ll follow all feeding, walking, medication, and potty schedules, provide plenty of playtime and affection, and make sure they always have fresh water. I understand that every pet has a different personality, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind.
About: *** Please don't send me requests for dates if you see my calendar is already blocked off with those dates & PLEASE READ MY ENTIRE PROFILE BEFORE BOOKING *** I keep my calendar up to date so use other dates if Rover insists you must pick dates for sitting in order for a message to go thru** Also, if booking for day care, after 4 hours of a stay, this is going to get the full day rate because I do not take multiple dogs I am also charging for 3 days when it's a weekend if the dog is coming early on Friday and going home on Sunday because I can't have a dog for 3 days and only get paid for 2 days. I have only raised my rate by $1-2 since Covid & take one family of dogs at a time. Please respond back to all messages if you reach out. Thx. ** I am trying to take dogs now under 50 pounds, very small/small to medium preferred. It would be very helpful if you list the specific breed of your dog too and give details. No aggressive breeds taken, sorry, no Pitbulls. My husband and I both work from home as my only job is caring for the dogs staying at my house. It is nice because someone is always here and the dogs get a ton of attention. My name is Hope Landow-Schnur and I adore dogs. I raised my own dogs for over 14+ years - Bailey and Jango. Everyone that knows me, knows that I am the ultimate pet lover and treated my dogs as well as my children. We have a nice home in River Vale, NJ with a huge 6' high fenced in yard. I am married with triplets - 22 years old and they love playing with our guest dogs. I have my own big crate set up (only if you crate your dog) and ready to welcome your dog(s) into my home when you need to be away overnight or for an extended period of time. I will do my best to keep your treasured pet on their own schedule with feedings, playtime and time outside running around the back yard or if you prefer, walks only. I've made floor dogs into lap dogs, they get extra spoiled with me! You will also get lots of photos & updates when you are away. I just recently changed my setting to small to medium dogs if you are a repeat customer and can not find me on line. I'm also available for dog day care in my home if my calendar is free. After 6 hours, it is considered a full rate instead of the daily rate if you plan to leave your dog with me. Looking forward to hearing from you & I respond back promptly! Thanks. Hope

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - West Nyack
Christy was amazing to work with! She was flexible as we need a last minute booking, came to meet us last minute and was very easy to work with! She was punctual, followed all directions and was great with my dog! Would definitely use her again in the future!

Liz is the best! She has now watched our 4 small dogs 3 times now while we’ve been on vacation, and I can actually relax on vacation knowing that she is taking great care of them! She gave 2 of my dogs their medication without an extra charge, and gave great updates with every check-in. I am also expecting a baby and she even surprised me and went out of her way to buy my 4 dogs bandanas celebrating the new baby coming which was extremely sweet of her! I will continue to use her again and again!

My experience with Robyn was excellent! She is extremely reliable, very good at communicating, and followed all instructions for my puppy, Potato. I received regular photo updates, and she made sure he stayed on his feeding, walking, and potty schedule. She even accommodated a last minute time change, which I really appreciated. I felt confident that he was safe and well cared for the entire time. I would absolutely book again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy, pet sitter !
