Information Lisa S. would like to know about your pet
Before each visit, I like to get to know your pet as an individual — their name, age, personality, and daily routine, along with what makes them happiest and most comfortable. This includes feeding and medication instructions, walk and exercise preferences, leash or harness type, training cues they know, and any medical conditions, allergies, fears, or behavioral triggers. The more I know about your pet’s habits and quirks, the better I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free. I also ask for clear home access details, veterinarian and emergency contact information, and a plan for unexpected situations. Knowing household rules, where supplies are kept, and how you prefer to receive updates helps everything run smoothly. My goal is always to care for your pets as if they were my own and to give you peace of mind while you’re away.
A typical day
A typical day as a dog walker and pet sitter starts with reviewing schedules, client notes, and special instructions to ensure every pet’s needs are met. Morning visits often include potty breaks, neighborhood walks, feeding, refreshing water bowls, and administering medications if required. Each walk is tailored to the dog’s age, energy level, and temperament—whether that means a brisk exercise walk, a leisurely stroll, or extra time for sniffing and exploration. Throughout the day, I provide one-on-one attention, playtime, enrichment activities, and companionship to keep pets mentally and physically stimulated. For in-home pet sitting visits, this may include brushing, litter box or yard clean-up, and light home care such as bringing in mail or adjusting lights and blinds for added security. I prioritize safety at every visit by checking doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses, monitoring pets for any changes in behavior or health, and maintaining clean feeding and living areas. Regular photo and text updates are sent to pet parents so they can feel confident and connected while they’re away. Evening visits typically include dinner, another walk or potty break, calming playtime, and settling pets in comfortably for the night. Whether it’s a quick check-in or extended overnight care, my goal each day is to provide reliable, loving, and professional care that keeps pets happy, healthy, and stress-free.

Lisa was a wonderful sitter. She kept me informed and sent many pictures I will definitely be using her again
Lisa is a loving and caring person. If you know Lisa you love Lisa. She loves all types of animals and treats them royally. We all love our pets, you can trust Lisa to care for your pets like they are her own. Lisa has a fantastic personality and very easy to get along with. I can’t say enough good things about Lisa and you can rest assure that your darling dog, cat or other animals will be left in great hands.
Lisa has cared for our Pug many times. She is most loving and responsible. She treats our doggy like he’s her own. If you want a great pet caregiver look no further. Lisa will not disappoint you.
Lisa cared for our older cat for 3 weeks this past summer while we were on vacation. She agreed to take her into her home so she could not only provide the food and water that she needed, but the loves and cuddles our cat would have missed while we were away. I highly recommend Lisa as a pet sitter for your dog or cat. She loves animals, and it shows in the kind of attention she gives to the pets in her care.
