About: I have tons of experience doing rover during my time in college in Boston. Lots of walking and cuddling and good times. I also have cat sat and dog sat for my friends when they go on vacation because their families know I am obsessed with pets!!! I also have babysat sitting experience (not animals lol) from while I was in highschool for multiple families in Old Tappan :) I am currently a recent graduate of a musical theater program in Boston. I am now back at home in New Jersey submitting self tapes and going to the gym. I am applying for jobs here and there but I would love to dog sit as most of the day I am home and would love to have a friend :) I have 1 dog of my own at home, Joey. He is incredibly routined! We have had Joey since I was in 3rd grade and I have now graduated college with same dog, and he’s just as spry! My parents and I have done our best to create a nutritious diet and consistent routine so he is happy and healthy. Joey is always mentally stimulated as he knows exactly when breakfast and dinner is, he knows how to let us know when he needs to go outside, and he knows exactly where the treats and sweet potatoes (his favorite) are!
About: After losing my own dog to natural causes, I now seek to care for other pets with the same love, attention, and joy I gave to her. I’m active, patient, and genuinely enjoy bonding with animals - whether it’s through play, walks, or simply being a comforting presence. I work for myself as a brand designer, so I have a flexible schedule and love giving pets the time and attention they deserve between projects. Otherwise, I’d be cooped up indoors and I think getting outside with a furry friend is a much healthier (and happier) way to spend the day. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or theirs, safety and comfort always come first. I stick closely to your pet’s routine, respect house rules, and create a calm, clean environment where they can relax. I pay attention to details like securing gates, keeping walk areas clear, and giving plenty of affection so you can feel confident they’re in good hands.
About: Hi, I’m Miru. Dogs genuinely make my day :) I have 10+ years of experience in dog walking, house sitting, and drop in visits. Here to give your pup the care and attention they deserve. I currently share my home with a 14 y.o. Maltese, so I have a soft spot for seniors and know how to care for dogs at every life stage. My clients describe me as reliable, compassionate, and trustworthy, and I take pride in always showing up as scheduled. I’d love to meet your pup and answer any questions you have. Their happiness is the whole point! I’m a recent graduate from Virginia Tech’s agricultural & applied economics masters program. I have full availability to care for your pet(s), including holidays and weekends. Safety is of utmost importance to me. I understand that each pet has unique needs and preferences. If necessary, I am experienced in crate training and can provide a secure and comfortable space for your dog if you prefer them to be crated while I am caring for them. I am diligent in following any specific safety instructions or guidelines you provide to ensure your pet's safety at all times. Trust is the foundation of a successful pet caretaker-client relationship. I recognize the trust you place in me by allowing me access to your home and entrusting me with the care of your furry family member. I take this responsibility seriously and will always respect your home, privacy, and belongings. You can trust that I will provide the highest level of care and attention to your pet, just as if they were my own. Creating a comfortable environment for your pet is crucial for their well-being. I understand that some pets have specific preferences or routines, and I am committed to maintaining those while you're away. If you request that your dog be kept off furniture, I will ensure they adhere to that rule. I will follow any specific instructions you provide regarding feeding, playtime, or any other routines your pet requires. By maintaining a familiar and comfortable environment, I aim to reduce any stress or anxiety your pet may experience in your absence. In addition to safety, trust, and comfort, I also pay close attention to the overall environment in your home. I am mindful of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards during my stay. I will clean up after your pet, dispose of waste properly, and keep their living area tidy. I believe that a clean and organized space contributes to your pet's well-being and helps create a positive atmosphere for them. Your pet's happiness and contentment are my top priorities. By focusing on safety, building trust, and creating a comfortable environment, I strive to provide the best possible care for your furry friend. You can rest assured that I will go above and beyond to ensure their well-being while you are away. If you have any specific requests or concerns regarding safety, trust, or creating a comfortable environment for your pet, please feel free to discuss them with me. I am here to address any questions or provide additional information to make you feel confident in my abilities as your pet caretaker.
“Matthew has been an amazing pet sitter and care taker for my two boys, including my senior cat with significant health concerns. I was kept updated with each visit, and Matt was very communicative with medications and how much each boy ate. I feel secure whenever Matt watched my boys!”
“Christy is an excellent sitter! I especially appreciated her consistency and attention to detail. She helped me feel comfortable leaving my cat alone for the first time. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have raised my two cats Ginger and Marble since they were a few weeks old, and they are 8 now. While I’m away at school (Babson College in Wellesley), I miss my cats and would love to take care of your pets. I often take care of my cousins’ dogs, and my girlfriend’s dogs as well. I schedule my life around the needs of your pets. My classes are from Monday - Thursday in the afternoon, so I can walk pets in the morning or evening every day. Walking is one of my favorite pastimes so I can spend a lot of time outdoors with your pets if they like that. I feed my cats a variety of cat foods and real natural foods, and will care for yours however you prefer. Also, I refill the water for pets often so they have fresh water, and my cats like to drink straight from the sink. Also, I am very tidy, and will make sure your house stays very clean.

“Lorenzo did a wonderful job taking care of my dog, Lacey! He came over for a few hours, took her on a nice walk, played with her, and made sure she was comfortable and happy the entire time. It was clear that Lacey felt at ease with him, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I’d absolutely recommend Lorenzo to anyone looking for a responsible and caring dog sitter!”

About: I strive to make the lives of our furry friends as fulfilling and fun as possible! I'm very comfortable taking care of any pet, and I have taken care of senior animals who require insulin shots and meticulous diets. One of my favorite electives at university was my 'Psychology of our Pets' class where we learned about how to best care for our furry friends and keep them active and healthy. I have owned dogs, cats, and even birds! Since I'm home from university for the summer, I'm pretty much available at the drop of a dime! While I would prefer a day's notice, I should be able to take care of your pet within two hours of your request. I believe that activities and fun are just as important for pets as they are for humans. Who wants to be stuck in their house all day? I know tons of dog-friendly walking trails, and I'd love to spend a few hours with them & make sure they are well-exercised. I've dealt with a lot of dietary restrictions for pets, so I can follow any directions very closely if needed. For Cats/Kittens, I have a few toys I'd be happy to bring, and even a harness if they want to explore outside for a few minutes!
About: I came from another country and brought my pets with me, and I have faced how hard is to find someone who takes care of them. Let me help you and your furry family as it is my own. I work from home in a flexible schedule and can accommodate several days and times for walks and drop-in visits. I drive so I can get to your family in a timely manner. With two dogs at home I am aware of the importance of a good walk, feeding and water refresh, and Ron, my cat, reminded me of how important is to have a fresh litterbox and a safe environment for all.
About: *** Please don't send me requests for dates if you see my calendar is already blocked off with those dates & PLEASE READ MY ENTIRE PROFILE BEFORE BOOKING *** I keep my calendar up to date so use other dates if Rover insists you must pick dates for sitting in order for a message to go thru** Also, if booking for day care, after 4 hours of a stay, this is going to get the full day rate because I do not take multiple dogs I am also charging for 3 days when it's a weekend if the dog is coming early on Friday and going home on Sunday because I can't have a dog for 3 days and only get paid for 2 days. I have only raised my rate by $1-2 since Covid & take one family of dogs at a time. Please respond back to all messages if you reach out. Thx. ** I am trying to take dogs now under 50 pounds, very small/small to medium preferred. It would be very helpful if you list the specific breed of your dog too and give details. No aggressive breeds taken, sorry, no Pitbulls. My husband and I both work from home as my only job is caring for the dogs staying at my house. It is nice because someone is always here and the dogs get a ton of attention. My name is Hope Landow-Schnur and I adore dogs. I raised my own dogs for over 14+ years - Bailey and Jango. Everyone that knows me, knows that I am the ultimate pet lover and treated my dogs as well as my children. We have a nice home in River Vale, NJ with a huge 6' high fenced in yard. I am married with triplets - 22 years old and they love playing with our guest dogs. I have my own big crate set up (only if you crate your dog) and ready to welcome your dog(s) into my home when you need to be away overnight or for an extended period of time. I will do my best to keep your treasured pet on their own schedule with feedings, playtime and time outside running around the back yard or if you prefer, walks only. I've made floor dogs into lap dogs, they get extra spoiled with me! You will also get lots of photos & updates when you are away. I just recently changed my setting to small to medium dogs if you are a repeat customer and can not find me on line. I'm also available for dog day care in my home if my calendar is free. After 6 hours, it is considered a full rate instead of the daily rate if you plan to leave your dog with me. Looking forward to hearing from you & I respond back promptly! Thanks. Hope
About: I've been a dog owner for 20 wonderful years, dogs are my passion! They love me and I love them, from puppies to seniors, toys to giants. I am lucky have a fenced in, wooded, private, 2 acre property with plenty of room for zoomies. My beagle, Piglet, is also a fine hostess. She loves to have canine company to play with, then snuggle with us and relax at my comfy, quiet home together. Piglet is my sweet rescue senior beagle. She's friendly, quiet and submissive. She has the final say on who may enter Her Queendom. Dogs are my main gig, so I will be with your babies almost 24/7. When I go out, I bring Piglet and friends along with me everywhere I can, especially to parks, trails and forests. But if your dog is more of a homebody, I can easily stay home with them all day. I live in a safe, wooded, quiet, 2 acre, fenced-in lot. There are lots of dogs on my block who love to socialize and have play dates if that's what your dog is into. I'm at the end of a dirt road, nowhere near any traffic, so it is very safe and private.

Helena did a wonderful job watching my senior dog for a week. She was incredibly attentive to her specific routine and slower pace. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It is clear Helena truly cares about animals. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and reliable pet sitter.

Alli has done such an incredible job with my puppy. She was always on time, was flexible with change of instructions during visits, took lots of pictures, and gave him the attention he needed! She is reliable and a great help. I would 100% work with Alli again and would highly recommend!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
