About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats since I was a kid, multiple times my family and I have taken care of other people’s animals, including dog sitting and dog walking, along with cat sitting for months on end. I’m currently not working, and the only dates I cannot do this summer is July 1-5, and August 1-9. Other than that, it works into my schedule perfectly I take my dogs on walks and train them, I make sure they’re always fed and have clean water, I’m attentive to their needs as best as I can, I make sure to play with them and occasionally groom them if needed (not a professional), and I do the same with my cats along with cleaning their litter boxes regularly

I’m around most of the day, just reach out and we can figure it out! I will take them on leashed walks, play outside, and give them a ton of love <3 I will treat them as if they were my own.
“Mathew and Christianna are the ultimate husband-and-wife dream team! They are incredibly accommodating and genuinely eager to help with whatever we need. Genie always gets a solid, brisk walk and comes home feeling happy and content. The best part is how thrilled Genie is to see them when they arrive—you can tell they share a real, genuine connection. Highly recommend!”

“Lorenzo did an amazing job walking our baby! Latte doesn’t need much: just a little walk to pee and poop and then he’s ready to head back in. He did just that and it was a great help as I work a hybrid schedule so I’m unable to walk Latte when I’m in office. Having someone come over while we’re out of the house and tend to our baby’s schedule is just something we need, especially with such a trustworthy dog handler! Latte was very amicable with Lorenzo, so this is definitely a great start to something new.”

About: I strive to make the lives of our furry friends as fulfilling and fun as possible! I'm very comfortable taking care of any pet, and I have taken care of senior animals who require insulin shots and meticulous diets. One of my favorite electives at university was my 'Psychology of our Pets' class where we learned about how to best care for our furry friends and keep them active and healthy. I have owned dogs, cats, and even birds! Since I'm home from university for the summer, I'm pretty much available at the drop of a dime! While I would prefer a day's notice, I should be able to take care of your pet within two hours of your request. I believe that activities and fun are just as important for pets as they are for humans. Who wants to be stuck in their house all day? I know tons of dog-friendly walking trails, and I'd love to spend a few hours with them & make sure they are well-exercised. I've dealt with a lot of dietary restrictions for pets, so I can follow any directions very closely if needed. For Cats/Kittens, I have a few toys I'd be happy to bring, and even a harness if they want to explore outside for a few minutes!
About: I have had my fair share of cats and dogs. All of them each have their own perfections. Family and friends rely on me to walk and pet sit. I am currently a student who also has a part-time job. I am available Monday and Wednesday mornings and nights. Every other Saturday and every Sunday I am available all day. Tuesdays I’m available in the mid day and at night. My own fur-baby’s get loads of attention and play time fun. I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them.

Having shared my life with pets, I understand the profound connection between humans and animals, and this forms the foundation of my exceptional care. I have plenty of time during to week for work with our fur friends so please reach out and we could always work something out! I'm very flexible. Communication is key, and I keep you updated with regular updates and photos, ensuring peace of mind while you are away. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
