“Danae was amazing! I was looking for a sitter for my babygirl very last minute and Danae was SO flexible, and accommodating. She took great care of my baby and sent me daily photos! Definitely recommend and will be booking again!”

“Evelien was a phenomenal dog sitter. She was very attentive to my dog’s needs, sent updates, and gave our pup a beautiful home away from home. Her 3 dogs are just as friendly and welcoming as she is.”

“Amazing host! They offered a meet and greet before boarding. During boarding, they shared many photos and updates such as what they’ve played and their appetite. I felt very comfortable having them watch over my dog.”

“Nina and Augustine cared for our beloved pup as if she was their own. She’s usually very sensitive and high maintenance so we were anxious to leave her, but within hours were receiving photos of her happily curled up on Nina’s lap! Also very accommodating of our schedule, and were kindly able to adjust to a last minute request to shift dates with no issue. So great!”

“Fantastic dog sitter. Extremely professional and very caring. Our dog came back excited as if he had his own vacation. Would recommend and will recommend to my friends.”

“Anat is the best! She took great care of Freddie, sent updates and photos, and assisted with pick and drop off. Thanks to Anat we could travel without worry. See you on our next vacation 🙏”

“Highly recommend Melissa! My anxious pup settled in quickly and was clearly treated like family. Melissa provided my dog activity, enrichment, and affection, all while keeping me updated with regular communication. It’s rare to find someone who cares this much. We will definitely book with her again!”

“First time with Chialing and we’ll definitely be back. Our dog is very shy and Chialing took extra care of her to feel comfortable. She also provided daily updates and photos / videos. I could see that our dog was getting very comfortable with her. Thank you so much!”

“I am loathe to spread the word about this great host, but Jennifer, James, and Seamus were the perfect caregivers for our dog Evelyn. We met the crew the night before and were very comfortable because of the knowledge that Jennifer had about dog behavior. She watched our dog closely to see how she would interact with Seamus and handled both dogs really well. Seamus was very interested in our dog, Evelyn. After a little bit Seamus and Evelyn calmed down and it became clear that they would become good compatriots in their adventures around Brooklyn. When we dropped Evelyn off first thing in the morning, James appeared to be baking dog treats. Let me repeat that, the dog sitter appeared to be baking dog treats when we dropped our dog off. They were undoubtedly organic. Our New York cynicism was demolished by the hospitality that they showed Evelyn. Jennifer sent us numerous pictures of their exploits. Upon return we picked Evelyn up and she looked completely at home in their house. She wouldn't have wanted to leave except for the fact that she knew that doorman would give her a treat on the way out the door. When Evelyn got back to our apartment she looked totally comfortable and tired from a great weekend with Jennifer, James & Seamus. I would highly recommend this host.”
“We trusted Rafaelina with our Shih Tzu Skoshi for a week while traveling quite far away. Communication was great, everything went smoothly, and Skoshi was in good spirits. Even cleaned all the bowls--great attention to detail. Thank you very much!”

“Cathy is wonderful! Rockie has spent one nighters with Cathy but we left her for three days this time around. As always, Cathy was kind, responsive and sent us updates and pictures of Rockie. We finally feel like we can go on longer trips now that Rockie can stay with Cathy. Rockie is comfortable and well cared for there. ❤️❤️❤️”

“We were worried that our Laima would have a hard time with separation anxiety, (first time away from us in the 2 yrs since we rescued her) but Rene and her pups made her feel right at home. The pictures she posted spoke volume on how well Laima enjoyed her stay! We hope to use Rene again soon!”

“Demetra was amazing!! We loved their family and our pug was so happy! He had such a great time with them and they took such good care of him! I am looking forward to bringing him over again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Piermont
Joanne goes above and beyond for boarding! We did a meet and greet beforehand, she helped communicate what to expect when leaving our pup for the first time and communicated a lot while we were gone which helped calm our nerves. Marshall was in great hands and couldn’t have asked for a better person to leave him with. We would highly recommend her!

Sunny and her family did a wonderful job taking care of our three family dogs, Eli, Barklee & Zoey. She sent pictures everyday, and we felt very assured that they were being well taken care of. They were all very happy when we came to get them. Sunny is the personification of her name!!🌞

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
