With 8+ years of dog walking experience and 6+ years of being a dedicated cat parent to our cats Luna and Bubba, I’ve built my life around understanding animal behavior. My approach is rooted in the belief that a calm environment and a consistent routine are the keys to a happy pet. Safety First, Always: Safety is my non-negotiable priority. For dogs, this means double-checking harness fits, practicing 'active walking' (staying aware of surroundings/distractions), and ensuring paws are protected from Tarrytown’s winter salt. For cats, I am hyper-vigilant about 'door dashing' and ensuring all windows and entry points are secure before and after I leave. Building Trust Through Patience: I understand that trust isn't given; it’s earned. • For Dogs: I use positive reinforcement and clear communication to build a bond. • For Cats: I specialize in 'low-stress' handling. I let timid cats come to me at their own pace, utilizing my experience with shy rescues to ensure they never feel cornered or overwhelmed. A Controlled & Healthy Environment: Whether I am in your home or mine, I maintain a 'pet-proof' space. • In Your Home: I respect your space and keep it exactly as you left it. Being a parent to 50+ plants, I am also uniquely qualified to ensure your pets stay away from any non-pet-safe greenery. • Health Monitoring: My experience with medications (like Atopica) means I’m always looking for subtle shifts in behavior, appetite, or bathroom habits that might indicate a health change. Abhilash was reliable, communicative, and took wonderful care of our three cats, including a new 7-month-old kitten on his first time alone! Even with some kitten mischief, he handled everything patiently and kept us updated throughout. We came home to happy pets and a clean, well-cared-for home. We felt completely at ease knowing our trio were in good hands and will definitely book with him again. Highly recommend!

As a Product Designer working from a home office, my schedule is incredibly flexible. Because I’m not tied to a traditional 9-to-5 commute, I can easily structure my day around your pet's specific needs rather than squeezing them into a lunch break. My typical routine includes: • Morning & Mid-Day: I use my flexible 'deep work' hours to take breaks for neighborhood walks or drop-in visits. This allows me to be available during the high-demand midday window when most owners are at work. • Weekly Consistency: Since I work from home in Tarrytown full-time, I am a reliable option for recurring weekly schedules. I don’t have to worry about office meetings or travel suddenly changing my availability. • The Designer’s Eye: My profession requires high attention to detail, a skill I bring to pet care by closely following routine instructions, monitoring health/behavior changes, and sending you well-composed photo updates! Whether it's a quick 20-minute check-in or a long walk, my 'home-base' setup ensures I’m always nearby and ready to help.
