Bella is wonderful. Not only is she great with my dog (and I'm sure everyone else's) she has her own dogs and cat....so she really understands how pet parents feel. The minute she met my dog, she came into my house, and started brushing him & rubbing his ears...you should have seen his FACE - He nearly fell asleep, lol. She definitely loves animals and she gets it. If she offered boarding/daycare, I'd totally trust her with my dog and I am VERY protective of my dog bc daycares in Riverdale allowed him to be attacked and harmed. She is careful and she actually cares.

Christine really came through for me when my wife sprained her ankle. She wasn’t able to walk our new rescue dog, and he’s currently untrained and quite a handful. Thankfully Christine came through for us despite all of that and actually had no problems walking him during that time. She’s super friendly and very communicative. We look forward to having her walk our boy again soon.

Lorenzo did an amazing job walking our baby! Latte doesn’t need much: just a little walk to pee and poop and then he’s ready to head back in. He did just that and it was a great help as I work a hybrid schedule so I’m unable to walk Latte when I’m in office. Having someone come over while we’re out of the house and tend to our baby’s schedule is just something we need, especially with such a trustworthy dog handler! Latte was very amicable with Lorenzo, so this is definitely a great start to something new.

About: Hi :) I'm a rising senior at Colorado College living in Denver for a summer internship. Ever since I could talk, I’ve loved dogs - possibly more than people sometimes. My family has always had dogs ranging from puppyhood to senior life, and I‘ve been the main caretaker and friend to all of them. My dogs were a purebred German Shepherd named Millie & a Rhodesian Ridgeback-Shepherd mix named Harold, so I am very comfortable with medium to large sized dogs (but the little ones are just as welcome!). Since high school, I've pet sat for dogs ranging from Huskies to Pitties to Chihuahuas (and a few cats in between). I play rugby and love to hike/run in my free time, so I am more than able to meet the needs of an especially energetic dog -- However I am also always down for a leisurely walk with a senior dog that just wants to chill in the park for a while :) I just fully joined this app (after initially setting up an account in middle school haha) and am primarily here to get to spend time with some lovely animals and help them have fun. Dogs are truly a gift to the world and it's my honor any time I get the chance to be around them! I currently work full time 8:30am - 5:30pm on weekdays, but am wide open before or afterwards and very flexible on weekends. I live pretty close to downtown, but I have a bike and a car so can get anywhere in the city relatively easily. If you are located very close to downtown I would even be able to do weekday afternoon walks/visits with enough advanced notice! I'm on here less for the money and more for the chance to spend time with some great animals so I'm happy to work with you on scheduling :) While I currently live in an airbnb in Denver I can't host animals at my home, however I have a ton of experience visiting clients' homes. I find this to be a better set up most of the time anyway since I want to make sure your pets are as comfortable as possible in my care. Before walking/sitting for you I'd love to set up a quick meet up where your pet can get to know me and I can make sure we are on the same page about what your animals need from me! Given my full time role, I wouldn't be able to give high quality petsitting care on weekdays, but I am more than happy to look after your animals full time on the weekend. Reach out to me with any questions :)

About: I’ve always loved dogs, and started walking them about 6 years ago. Now I’ve mostly worked with senior pets, usually medium sized dogs. I’m always eager to learn more about any animal in my care, and will stay in touch with daily updates. I’m almost always available, and I have plenty of time to give your pet individualized care and attention. If you need me, I’m there for your pet! I prefer to schedule a meeting to meet you and your pet before sitting for them. That way I’m familiar to them, and I can hear directly from you about any special needs, medications, habits, and things to look out for.

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was six years old and have always played an active role in their daily care. From feeding, walking, and grooming to providing plenty of love and attention, caring for animals has been a natural part of my life. At 16, I began dog walking for friends and neighbors, gaining experience with pets of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. Over the past two years, I've expanded my services to include in-home overnight pet care, allowing pets to stay comfortable and maintain their routines while their owners are away. I genuinely love animals and enjoy building trusting relationships with them. My experience, reliability, and passion for pet care help me provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment for every pet in my care. I currently work a part-time job with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I often have two days off during the week and am available in the mornings and evenings before and after work for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, and quality time with your pets. My flexible availability helps me accommodate a variety of schedules while ensuring your pets receive the attention, care, and consistency they deserve. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. Before caring for a new pet, I like to do a thorough walkthrough with the owner to learn about their pet's routine, training methods, preferences, and any special instructions. I believe consistency is important, so I strive to maintain the same structure and expectations your pet is used to in their daily life. When entering a client's home, I always proceed carefully, opening doors slowly and ensuring pets cannot slip outside. I make it a priority to keep fresh water available, follow feeding and medication schedules as instructed, and closely monitor pets during walks and outdoor time. If a pet is in the yard, I always check that gates are secure and fencing is safely enclosed before allowing them outside. Above all, I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and plenty of love and attention, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away.

About: Peace of mind — what we all want when we’re away from our beloved pets. As a pet owner, I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets home alone. I want to help make that better for you and your pets! I’m a lifetime animal lover and pet owner. Animals have always played an important role in my life. I currently have three adult rescue cats, but I grew up caring for hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and small dogs. And I have loved them all dearly! I worked in healthcare before becoming a stay-at-home mom. Now that my children are adults, I have a flexible schedule to accommodate your pet-care needs. I’m eager to help your pets feel safe, cared for and loved, and to put your mind at ease when you can’t be with them. I am dependable, conscientious and detail-oriented. I approach every situation with great care, attention and compassion, including how I care for pets. My pets are family and I believe all pets should be treated like family. You can rest assured that I will be very meticulous about following any instructions you leave for me.

  • 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
