“I first met Chris when he had gotten his first lab pitbull puppy. The amount of love, compassion, and dedication he demonstrated while caring and raising his boy, was laudable. He enjoys all sorts of animals and has nursed a few to health when found in need. For example, he rescued a snapping turtle off the highway after risking his life to ensure the poor creature would not be crushed. Once the turtle was older and ready to be back in the wild, he released it in a beautiful park nearby with water and views. He was able to go back and see him a few days to ensure he was adapting well. He also nursed a baby bird who unfortunately had fallen out of her nest and ultimately abandoned by her family following a storm. If I had an animal who needed care and love, Chris would be my first call.”

About: I’ve had experience with larger breeds. I had an Airedale terrier growing up and currently have a large golden doodle (he lives at my parents house!). I’m able to walk larger dogs with ease and have experience with food sensitive dogs as my doodle is allergic to just about everything. I’m available to do dog sitting pretty much whenever. I work from home full time so I am able to provide a lot of attention to any of my dog guests who stay with me and my husband. Dog walking I’m available most evenings and weekends with access to dog parks in my area if you are comfortable with me bringing your buddy there to play! I’m passionate about dogs and would love to use some extra time caring and tending to them! I’m new to caring for others dogs but not new to loving them - thanks for considering me to care for your best friend!

About: Hello All, My name is Courtney Walsh. I recently relocated from Pgh, PA, to White Plains, NY, to pursue law school. I have always been an animal-loving girl. I grew up with both a dog and a cat, who I miss dearly, now that I have moved away from home. In New York, I have adopted 2 of my cats, Olive (1yr) & Banks (1yr). All of my animals play a massive part in my life, and they are part of my family. I want to provide your companions with any services needed. I am an outdoors girl; I love hiking, running, exploring waterfalls, and more. I also certainly enjoy the chill lifestyle that comes with my lazy 110lb bloodhound at home when we binge netflix as he pretends to be a lap-dog. All in all, I will treat your animals like my own. I love to be intuitive with the needs of my animals from running around with my crazy cat, and sniffing the entire neighborhood with my dog Rover. For those with reactive animals I am very accustom to this as I worked with 2 reactive shelter dogs walking them, training, and socializing the dogs. I go to class varying times M-F and am available in between classes and on weekends. My hours are different than a typical 9-5 so I have time when you are at work! I am accustomed to crate training, leash training, and utilizing commands of all types. Most recently I spend time watching a black lab puppy who needs consistent training. I have worked with dogs from 5 lbs to my own at 110 lbs. Big dogs do not scare me and I am very confident in my dog handling abilities. I have also worked with reactive dogs!
