“Review update: So we've used Daniel many, many times now, and everything I said in my first review is still true, but so much moreso. He has outstanding communication, is extremely easy and pleasant to communicate with, is always on time, and is very respectful of our home. He is also super flexible and accommodating, and open and responsive to feedback. He provides wonderful, thorough updates, often with pictures and videos. My dog/puppy Jack is absolutely craazzzzy about him and looks so forward to his walks with his new best friend. Daniel does such a great job providing him his morning exercise, stimulation and fun, while also balancing helping me help young Jack to be the best dog he can be. He's part of the team. It's so easy to see that he genuinely likes and cares about my dog, and for me there is NOTHING more important than knowing that my boy is in good hands. I can now absolutely say that I fully trust Daniel to take excellent care of my dog, and for the record, that's not easy for me. I don't give it another thought when Jack goes out with him. It's so nice. In over a decade, I've only really trusted 2 people with my dogs. Now it's 3. Thank you so much Daniel! Honestly, don't even hesitate to use Daniel's services. I can't say enough good about him. (Just please don't try to take my time slot! 😂 but no 😂).”

“Craig was great. He took my both my labs on a a walk for a few days on short notice. One of my dogs was a little under the weather and Craig was attentive to his needs. Craig communicated and showed the highest level of professionalism and positivity. I would highly recommend Craig.”

“Daniela was very responsive and flexible to tend to our pups for daily walks with very short notice. Our three dogs immediately took to her and seemed to enjoy her company. Would definitely hire Daniela again!”

“Yuri Paola recently started walking Yuki and from the first meet-and-greet she was always punctual, attentive and very professional. She wanted to know all about Yuki’s preferences and behavior, and we appreciate that she always gives us updates about the walks, with details and pictures. The experience has been great!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals most of my life and take pride in making sure that any animal I encounter is well cared for. I have experience with cats, dogs of all sizes including large dogs (150+ lbs). I currently work full time but from home half the week. I am able to do drop in visits and walks mid-day as well as before and after work hours. As a cat/dog Walker and sitter I treat every home I visit with the same care and respect I have for the animals. I will only ever follow instructions the owners have provided as it relates to their pets and home.
“Emmily was great with my senior German Shepherd dog who is pretty much losing his sight. She is a great communicator and took really nice pictures. I definitely recommend her.”

I’m patient, caring, and always follow your pet’s routine to keep them comfortable. You can count on me to give your pet lots of attention—and I’ll even send photo updates so you can see how great they’re doing Currently work a full time job weekdays to provide for my daughter and I. I’m available both Saturday and Sundays after 10:30am that way I can spend time with your fur baby and love/care for them as my own. When I care for pets, whether it’s in my home or a client’s, I can make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I follow their normal routine for meals, walks, and playtime so everything feels familiar to them. I love giving them lots of attention, cuddles, and play! About: What sets me apart is that I’ve cared for dogs through every stage of life. I grew up with three dogs starting when I was 12, so I have experience with everything from managing puppy energy to giving older dogs the patience, gentleness, and attention they need. I’ve also helped friends and family with their dogs over the years, whether that meant walks, drop-ins, or caring for them while they were away. This is the first time since childhood that I’m living without dogs, and I’d love the chance to help care for yours like they’re my own. I work full-time during the week, so weekends are the best fit for me right now. That’s when I have the most flexibility and can give dogs more of my time and attention without feeling rushed. I live in a house with a front and backyard, giving dogs plenty of room to relax, play, and get fresh air. There are also several parks nearby, so walks and outdoor time are easy to work into the day. I know every dog is different, so I’ll make sure to follow their normal routine and keep them comfortable, safe, and cared for like they’re my own.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - White Plains
She’s exceptional. So kind and sweet and patient. My rescue puppy was scared of the wind and she took her time with him. Sat with him on the floor so he’d eat his food. Made sure he was comfortable before putting him on the leash. 10/10 will definitely rebook with her!

Michael was our primary walker for Winston and he was INCREDIBLE with him. Winston is a BIG puppy and has a lot of energy and love to give and Michael handled him like a pro, while keeping us informed along the way. You’d be lucky to have him as your walker. Our dog Winston LOVES him. We definitely will be booking again.

I’m a new dog parent, my puppy is 7 months old, and I was so nervous to book a walker for the first time! Payal came recommended from a friend and she is AMAZING! She put me completely at ease and went above and beyond for my Bruce. I left her so many instructions and she did everything with ease. He is also not the easiest dog to wrangle (70 lbs at 7 months) and she had no problem. There is a dog park at our building I asked her to bring him to and when she saw that there were unsafe things on the ground like objects he could swallow and other dog’s poop, she decided not to have him play in there and did other activities instead, then bringing him inside when he was getting hot. She truly cared for him the way my husband or I would and we cannot thank her enough! We will book with Payal many more times!

Anna is always timely, professional and the dogs love to see her! Cannot recommend enough for both small and big dogs (we have a golden and a cavalier)! She is thorough and attentive, and has helped us out when we needed someone last minutes. Will absolutely use her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
