“Bella is wonderful. Not only is she great with my dog (and I'm sure everyone else's) she has her own dogs and cat....so she really understands how pet parents feel. The minute she met my dog, she came into my house, and started brushing him & rubbing his ears...you should have seen his FACE - He nearly fell asleep, lol. She definitely loves animals and she gets it. If she offered boarding/daycare, I'd totally trust her with my dog and I am VERY protective of my dog bc daycares in Riverdale allowed him to be attacked and harmed. She is careful and she actually cares.”
“Lorenzo did an amazing job walking our baby! Latte doesn’t need much: just a little walk to pee and poop and then he’s ready to head back in. He did just that and it was a great help as I work a hybrid schedule so I’m unable to walk Latte when I’m in office. Having someone come over while we’re out of the house and tend to our baby’s schedule is just something we need, especially with such a trustworthy dog handler! Latte was very amicable with Lorenzo, so this is definitely a great start to something new.”

“Tamette is an incredibly easy person to work with! She’s also very quick to communicate. Both of my dogs return from their walks either satisfied and happy. Thanks a lot!”

About: I’ve had both cats and dogs as pets growing up my whole life. I walk dogs for families all around my neighborhood as well as dog/catsit. I love surrounding myself with fur babies of all types:)) I’m a college student with no job because I go back to college first week of July for soccer (no time for a full time job). That being said, I’m home all the time to take care of your animals! I live in a neighborhood filled with dogs! Everyone is always out walking their dogs and all the dogs I’ve cared for love interacting with the other dogs. There’s loads of places for them to do their business and walk!

“Abhi was AMAZING! My dog and cat both loved him and he was so thorough and obviously has a deep level of care and love for animals. I will definitely be a repeat customer!”

About: I know your dog is more than just a pet—they're family. That's why I'm committed to providing the same level of care, patience, and attention that I'd want someone to give my own. Who Am I As a long-time pet owner, I understand that caring for a dog goes far beyond providing food, water, and exercise. Dogs thrive on structure, purpose, consistency, and companionship, and I believe these qualities are essential to their overall well-being. My goal is to provide more than just a walk. I strive to make every visit a positive experience by giving your dog the attention, consistent care, and mental stimulation they deserve while you're away. My hope is that your dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy while you enjoy the peace of mind of knowing they're in good hands. How I Got Started My passion for caring for dogs began by helping neighbors and family members with their pets. I later had the opportunity to work for a private pet walking company, where I learned more about professional pet care, punctuality, and the importance of building trust with both dogs and their owners. That experience strengthened my commitment to providing dependable and compassionate care. What Can Clients Expect My goal is simple—to provide your dog with a safe, enjoyable, and positive experience every time I visit. I strive to build trust with every dog through patience, consistency, and genuine care. My hope is to become someone both you and your dog can rely on, while being a positive addition to your dog's quality of life. Thank you for considering me as your dog walker. I look forward to meeting you and your dog very soon! Pet care is a priority in my daily routine. I maintain a flexible schedule so I can accommodate weekday, weekend, and last-minute requests whenever possible. I treat every dog as if they were my own. I follow your instructions closely, maintain a safe environment, and make sure your dog feels comfortable, secure, and well cared for while you're away. My priority is earning your trust by providing dependable and compassionate care.

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was six years old and have always played an active role in their daily care. From feeding, walking, and grooming to providing plenty of love and attention, caring for animals has been a natural part of my life. At 16, I began dog walking for friends and neighbors, gaining experience with pets of different sizes, breeds, and personalities. Over the past two years, I've expanded my services to include in-home overnight pet care, allowing pets to stay comfortable and maintain their routines while their owners are away. I genuinely love animals and enjoy building trusting relationships with them. My experience, reliability, and passion for pet care help me provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment for every pet in my care. I currently work a part-time job with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I often have two days off during the week and am available in the mornings and evenings before and after work for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, and quality time with your pets. My flexible availability helps me accommodate a variety of schedules while ensuring your pets receive the attention, care, and consistency they deserve. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. Before caring for a new pet, I like to do a thorough walkthrough with the owner to learn about their pet's routine, training methods, preferences, and any special instructions. I believe consistency is important, so I strive to maintain the same structure and expectations your pet is used to in their daily life. When entering a client's home, I always proceed carefully, opening doors slowly and ensuring pets cannot slip outside. I make it a priority to keep fresh water available, follow feeding and medication schedules as instructed, and closely monitor pets during walks and outdoor time. If a pet is in the yard, I always check that gates are secure and fencing is safely enclosed before allowing them outside. Above all, I treat every pet with patience, kindness, and plenty of love and attention, helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away.
“Sarah really loves animals and it shows in how she cares for Winnie when she boards or walks her. I trust Sarah’s judgement and know my dog is being cared for in my a sense. It’s very hard to find professional pet care and I feel very lucky to have met Sarah!”
About: I’ve taken care of animals most of my life and take pride in making sure that any animal I encounter is well cared for. I have experience with cats, dogs of all sizes including large dogs (150+ lbs). I currently work full time but from home half the week. I am able to do drop in visits and walks mid-day as well as before and after work hours. As a cat/dog Walker and sitter I treat every home I visit with the same care and respect I have for the animals. I will only ever follow instructions the owners have provided as it relates to their pets and home.
About: Hi :) I'm a rising senior at Colorado College living in Denver for a summer internship. Ever since I could talk, I’ve loved dogs - possibly more than people sometimes. My family has always had dogs ranging from puppyhood to senior life, and I‘ve been the main caretaker and friend to all of them. My dogs were a purebred German Shepherd named Millie & a Rhodesian Ridgeback-Shepherd mix named Harold, so I am very comfortable with medium to large sized dogs (but the little ones are just as welcome!). Since high school, I've pet sat for dogs ranging from Huskies to Pitties to Chihuahuas (and a few cats in between). I play rugby and love to hike/run in my free time, so I am more than able to meet the needs of an especially energetic dog -- However I am also always down for a leisurely walk with a senior dog that just wants to chill in the park for a while :) I just fully joined this app (after initially setting up an account in middle school haha) and am primarily here to get to spend time with some lovely animals and help them have fun. Dogs are truly a gift to the world and it's my honor any time I get the chance to be around them! I currently work full time 8:30am - 5:30pm on weekdays, but am wide open before or afterwards and very flexible on weekends. I live pretty close to downtown, but I have a bike and a car so can get anywhere in the city relatively easily. If you are located very close to downtown I would even be able to do weekday afternoon walks/visits with enough advanced notice! I'm on here less for the money and more for the chance to spend time with some great animals so I'm happy to work with you on scheduling :) While I currently live in an airbnb in Denver I can't host animals at my home, however I have a ton of experience visiting clients' homes. I find this to be a better set up most of the time anyway since I want to make sure your pets are as comfortable as possible in my care. Before walking/sitting for you I'd love to set up a quick meet up where your pet can get to know me and I can make sure we are on the same page about what your animals need from me! Given my full time role, I wouldn't be able to give high quality petsitting care on weekdays, but I am more than happy to look after your animals full time on the weekend. Reach out to me with any questions :)
“I felt at ease having Caleigh walk our brand new baby, Leo. She was communicative and right on time which was important for us with an 8wk old puppy. Will be using again. Thank you!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Greenburgh
Drew walked our 2 dogs (a Lab and a Cocker Spaniel mix) every day for a week and it worked out great. He was very thorough in his communications and punctual on each visit. Our dogs can be anxious, but Drew was great with them and they instantly became comfortable. I would highly recommend Drew.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
