Hi! We are Alyssa and Michael :) We are both huge animal lovers and treat every pet like they’re our own. We’ve been caring for animals for years, especially dogs and cats, but alyssa also has experience with fish, rabbits, and birds. Alyssa used to work for a professional dog-walking company, Thumping Tails, where she worked with 70+ families, handling everything from walks and feedings to cleaning up, playtime, and just giving pets the attention they need while their owners are away. Even after leaving, a lot of those families have stayed in touch and still trust me with their pets, which means a lot to me. I’m happy to provide references if needed! We are both very comfortable with all kinds of dogs and have worked with different breeds (small to large, you name it), from puppies to seniors, varying energy levels, and even pets with disabilities or special needs. We both also have experience giving medications when needed. We are both cat owners ourselves, so we totally get that every cat has their own personality. We’ve worked with friendly cats, shy ones, and the “I’ll come to you when I’m ready” types. I’m very patient and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. We both offer walks (quick, short, or long), drop-ins, playtime, and can even help with pet socialization if that’s something you’re looking for. Also happy to just stop by to give your pet some love and attention! Right now we are not offering boarding, but we both have experience with house sitting through both freelance work and my previous company. We are both very easygoing, reliable, and really pay attention to the little details on whatever instructions you leave, l follow them closely to keep your pet happy and comfortable. Feel free to reach out anytime! We hope to meet you and your pets soon! ** We want to preface since there have been many requests to modify payments: any bookings booked through holidays will be charged at full holiday price. We apologize for any inconvenience, but during the holidays we typically get upwards of 20-30 requests and due to the volume, the price of gas, and the cost of our own personal time being away from each other and our own pet, we must charge at our holiday rate. Rover also deducts 20% from all of our bookings on top of that, so please respect our time and do not request a change to the cost, we already charge well below market value in the Westchester area. Any bookings cancelled in the middle of a booking will also be charged at full price as we typically have to turn down other clients in order to accommodate previous bookings made.** We look forward to meeting you and your pets! :) — Alyssa + Michael🐾

Alyssa is amazing! She was very responsive and organized. She took good care of our cat and left detailed visit notes. She was our first Rover cat sitter experience and we were glad that we were able to have her taking care of our cat while we enjoyed our vacation. Will def rebook with her for our future trips.

Michael was our primary walker for Winston and he was INCREDIBLE with him. Winston is a BIG puppy and has a lot of energy and love to give and Michael handled him like a pro, while keeping us informed along the way. You’d be lucky to have him as your walker. Our dog Winston LOVES him. We definitely will be booking again.

Schedule
**Please read before booking :) *** Michael is currently unavailable during the day, starting in August he will resume day time walks, he can still accommodate morning and evenings. Alyssa currently works full time M-F 9am-6pm, but available early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Alyssa for the time being is the only one offering housesitting. -At this time I am currently booked for 6 weeks out of the summer, so please double check my availability before booking a housesitting.

We care for pets exclusively in their own home, where they feel safest and most comfortable, and I focus on keeping their routine consistent and stress‑free. our services include dog walking tailored to each dog’s pace and preferences; feeding and refreshing water exactly as instructed; administering medications with care and clear documentation; maintaining clean, tidy litter boxes; and providing socialization and enrichment through play, cuddles, or calm companionship based on each pet’s personality. During house‑sitting visits, we follow all home instructions, keep your space secure, and can also bring in mail, water plants, take out trash, and ensure everything is locked and cared for before one of us leaves, all while sending you updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

We both love hanging with your pets, especially fetch, jogs, just hanging and sniffing around! With cats, we love to give head scratches, pets, and play with any toys you they may have!
