“Jamie took such great care of our dog Cokie. I only wish we lived closer to Jamie to continue having be part of our puppies life! She is so skilled with Animals (works at a Vet's office) Has great instincts about dogs and is so bright and thoughtful. Jamie is a gem and you are lucky to have the opportunity to work with her in the Westchester area. Thank you Jamie and Rover too for connecting us.”

“I wish I could give Iris more than 5 stars because she was that great. My dogs are not the easiest to take care of and are definitely weary of strangers. Iris took the time to get to know them and make sure they were very comfortable while my family went away on vacation. Iris sent many updates to let us know the dogs were ok which we really appreciated! Not only did Iris take care of the dogs but also our lizard, fish and even watered our gardens. I was able to relax and enjoy our trip knowing that we had such a reliable and trustworthy sitter taking care of our fur babies and home! Thank you so much Iris.. we will be booking you again!”

About: Love dogs all kind. First I pet seat my friend’s dogs when they were away. Then I got my own dog. Alaska is a 34 lbs pomsky. She is very playful and would like a company. I can take your dog to a dog park or the dog beach. Both of those amenities are next to my house. Moreover I have small fenced yard for playing with bunch of balls.I work from home , so have a lot free time to pet sit fur babies and take them for plenty of walks. If you are away for a short trip, book your pet a bed and breakfast inn in my house. I will take care of your furry friend either at my house or yours. Currently work from home. Very flexible. However prefer drop offs and pick ups in mornings. If pick up after 3 pm addition charge may apply I have fenced yard where. I can let dogs out for quick pee and play if needed. However I take them on walks at least 2 times a day. If good weather, I may take them to the dog park or rye beach

“Drew took amazing care of my cat Lola while I was away on vacation. This was my first time using rover and he immediately put my mind at ease! He had great communication and sent daily updates.”

“Elena was a great pet sitter, I absolutely loved her! She took care of everything my cat needed and that we agreed. She took the time to get to know him and the attention was all focused on him. It was the best sitter I had so far. Definitely booking again! Thanks Elena, it is so great to have peace of mind even leaving the little one.”

“Catie took excellent care of our 2 cats. One of our cats has special needs with a feeding tube in place. Catie learned how to administer medications thru the feeding tube. She picked it up quickly and asked questions when she wasn’t sure about something. She kept us updated with daily feedback and photos. She’s trustworthy and reliable as well as being very skilled at handling challenges which can happen with finicky cats like ours. Would highly recommend to others and will use her again.”

About: What sets me apart is that I’ve cared for dogs through every stage of life. I grew up with three dogs starting when I was 12, so I have experience with everything from managing puppy energy to giving older dogs the patience, gentleness, and attention they need. I’ve also helped friends and family with their dogs over the years, whether that meant walks, drop-ins, or caring for them while they were away. This is the first time since childhood that I’m living without dogs, and I’d love the chance to help care for yours like they’re my own. I work full-time during the week, so weekends are the best fit for me right now. That’s when I have the most flexibility and can give dogs more of my time and attention without feeling rushed. I live in a house with a front and backyard, giving dogs plenty of room to relax, play, and get fresh air. There are also several parks nearby, so walks and outdoor time are easy to work into the day. I know every dog is different, so I’ll make sure to follow their normal routine and keep them comfortable, safe, and cared for like they’re my own.
About: What sets me apart is my combined expertise in pet care and property management. With years of experience sitting for a variety of pets—including dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds—I’m comfortable caring for animals of all ages, from playful pups to senior pets needing medication. My background in property management means I’m skilled at handling household maintenance and addressing unexpected issues, ensuring your home stays in perfect condition. Thoughtful and detail-oriented, I go above and beyond to anticipate needs, providing peace of mind while you’re away. I currently work remotely, so house sitting/dog walking fits perfectly into my routine. I am an early bird, so early morning walks are welcome and I am available to provide constant attention to your pet. I provide a safe and loving environment for pets in both my home and my clients’ homes. While my yard isn’t fenced, I live in a quiet neighborhood with non-yellow-lined streets, perfect for calm and enjoyable walks. I never wear headphones or listen to music during walks, staying fully aware of our surroundings to ensure your pet’s safety. My strong communication skills also help me navigate interactions with other dog owners we might meet along the way. Whether at my home or yours, I treat every pet like family, ensuring they feel secure, loved, and well-cared for.
“Lina is a consummate professional and truly cares for her clients. We had her stop in for a feeding and potty break but she wasn’t available at the exact time we needed. She went out of her way to try to accommodate us and stop by as late as she was able to for a dinner feeding since we were coming home late. A+++”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rye Brook
Aaliyah is fantastic and such a professional. She is polite and courteous and clearly loves dogs. She even tackles challenges like my forgetting to leave the key out for her! She handled it so beautifully and was so patient and helpful! Many thanks Aaliyah and thank you Rover!

This was Jason's first drop-in visit with our two Great Pyrenees dogs and our Maine Coon cat. The boys met Jason at his meet-and-greet visit about a week in advance and the boys loved him from the moment he walked through the door. He's very comfortable with our big boys (115 pounds and 140 pounds!). Jason, overall, is fantastic-- professional, thoughtful, conscientious, and just a great guy. He followed all of our instructions to the last detail. We already have more days booked with him. It's such an enormous relief to find him so the boys can stay home together rather than staying at the kennel while we go out of town. Highly recommend him!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
