About: I’ve had animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. I’ve trained multiple puppies, cared for senior dogs, and have years of experience looking after cats. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and always make sure each pet feels safe and loved. I currently work from home, so I have a flexible schedule for walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. At the moment, I’m not able to offer boarding, as my own pets may not adjust well to new animals in the home. My approach is calm and understanding. I like to respect each pet’s unique personality and habits. I don’t believe in being overly strict, but I always make sure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since having our first family dog when I was little. I trained our family dog to not only have discipline, but also do tricks! I recently trained my friend’s dog to do some fun tricks too. I love to give the pups all the attention and patience they deserve. I shared a cat all through college with my roommate and am familiar with cats needs. I currently have Friday-Sunday off so I’d love to board or do walks on the weekend. I’m also available in the mornings and evenings if walks are needed then. I live close to lots of walking paths and dog parks. It’s a great area to go on long walks or to the dog parks!
“Annabel did a great job for my 2 cats while I was away for a week. She sent great pictures and even cleaned up when they got into a treat bag one day. Highly recommend!”

I have a lot of experience with dogs and cats, including senior pets, blind pets, and pets that need medications or extra care. I also work in healthcare so I have knowledge in first aid and monitoring health conditions which helps me provide safe attentive and responsible care for every pet while making them feel comfortable loved and at home. I currently work part-time in healthcare, which allows me the flexibility to dedicate quality time to caring for pets. Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and I genuinely love making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is to create a calm, caring environment where your pet feels at home, with plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and supervision. I’m available on weekends, evenings, overnight stays, and most weekdays after work, and I would be honored to care for your furry family member as if they were my own. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and loving home where every pet can feel safe and relaxed. I have two separate private rooms available if your dog or cat prefers a quiet space to rest, needs time to adjust, or if you request separate accommodations. I also have a very friendly cat who is gentle and comfortable around both dogs and cats. I have reliable transportation, so I can take dogs to nearby parks for walks, fresh air, playtime, and exercise. I have experience caring for senior pets, anxious pets, blind pets, and pets that require medication or extra attention. Working in healthcare has taught me to be attentive, patient, compassionate, and detail oriented, allowing me to closely monitor each pet’s behavior and well being. About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and grew up with three cats, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me. During college, I was hired by local families to pet sit while they traveled, often caring for their pets for extended periods. Today, I continue to pet sit for friends and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’m comfortable caring for cats, dogs, and other animals, and I always take the time to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know every pet is different, whether they love to play, go for walks, or just want a calm companion. I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. I work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so I have plenty of flexibility for daytime drop-in visits. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I’m available in the evenings. I love fitting pet care into my routine and enjoy spending time with animals throughout the week. I’ll always communicate with you and provide updates so you know your pet is in good hands. I know how important it is to trust someone in your home and with your pet. I’ll always follow your care instructions carefully, make sure doors and windows are secure, refresh food and water, clean up after your pet, and give them the attention they need. Whether your pet is energetic or prefers a quiet companion, I’ll respect their routine and personality while treating your home with the same care and respect I would my own.

About: My love of dogs led me to start a dog walking business when I was only 10 yrs old. Once I finally convinced my parents to get a dog, I was 15 and we ended up with two bichon-malteses who were the loves of my life. As an adult, my career has me traveling frequently so I haven’t become a pet owner, but I continue to dogsit for friends and neighbors because I love the companionship when I’m home. I am committed to providing your dog a comfortable home away from home where they will be well cared for and loved. I work from home Mondays and Fridays so can be available for care for a long weekend (Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon). My availability may be limited based on work travel. I live in a dog friendly building, where there is greenery and walking paths around the building for daily walks and enjoy going for longer walks in nearby parks.

“Claire is amazing. She kept in touch throughout our weekend away, sending photos of Noodle and keeping us updated on what they were doing. She spent a lot of time with Noodle, taking her for walks and playing with her. Noodle loves her. Claire is very professional and you can tell she loves dogs. Don't hesitate to book her. She's great. We will definitely use her whenever we need a sitter for Noodle.”

“Alexandra took excellent care of our two cats while we were away, taking time to get to know them and play with them each visit. We were thrilled they were in such good hands and will definitely ask Alexandra to help us again.”

“Sarah was incredibly attentive and communicative while we were away! She provided us with updates and pictures after we mentioned how nervous we were leaving them, and it helped ease us a ton! I know our two cats were lucky to have Sarah checking in on them ?”

About: I’ve had dogs growing up. As an adult I have had cats and dogs, many of whom had special needs. I have had two blind cats and cats and dogs with various chronic medical conditions. I also have a veterinary assistant certificate from Norwalk Community College and I have worked as a vet assistant. I am retired for now. This leaves me time to focus on your animals. I can do sleepovers as well as daily walks and home visits for cats. I cannot take pets in my home but can do walks and sleepovers in a clients home. If an owner has a fenced in yard and the dog likes going out in the yard I would go with the dog and not leave the dog unattended. If the dog is used to walks we would walk.

I have an open schedule and am quick to respond. I’m home from school this summer and available just about anytime! I’m able to hang out with your pup weekends, evenings, and overnight. Nicole is wonderful with my Atlas. She is always on time, communicative, and sends lots of pics. I was concerned that he might develop separation anxiety when I returned to work, but Nicole’s drop-ins keep him happy and engaged (the only separation anxiety is mine 😊). Her consistency and experience is helping him learn his manners (leash and potty etiquette) very well.

Evelina was absolutely amazing with my Marley while I was away on a week-long cruise. From the start, she was professional, kind, and very communicative, which gave me real peace of mind. She sent regular updates and photos, and it was clear Marley was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. When I got back, Marley was relaxed, healthy, and clearly loved his time with her. Evelina truly treated him like her own. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend Evelina to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring Rover helper.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
