About: I’ve worked for shelters throughout college and fostered multiple cats, my longest foster was a year! I currently have three cats of my own, adopted from various shelters in NYC and all are super friendly! I’m very good at socializing cats for children friendly homes as well! I’m currently working full time, but I live across the street from my office. So I constantly have easy access to my cats or any fur baby in my home! My schedule is flexible during the week and I am also able to do overnight stays in areas around Stamford! I have a pet friendly apartment that is perfectly situated to house cats overnight or for a day! Fit with water fountains, toys, automatic feeders, and extra space is a cat needs some alone time. I also have multiple double sized litter boxes or a mini litter box situated in the bathroom. Lastly, I have a camera system to monitor the cats fitted with iOS notifications for any emergencies or alarms in the home.
“Stefanie was amazing! Always kept me updated and was so communicative. My kitty cat loved her and I would absolutely recommend her in the future! An amazing sitter.”

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life (30 years old) but for the last 10 years I have worked to take care of others. I have also cared for dogs with special needs, including neurological disorders and dogs with seizures. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. Your pet will have top priority and I will be around/available all day for the care that you request. I do not own any pets myself, so if your dog stays at my house, there will not be any others. I have a fenced in yard if you would like your dog to take advantage of outdoor activities such as fetch. Dogs are allowed on couch/bed. I work from home, and will make sure to take your dog on walks at the schedule you request. I can provide short walks, or long walks up to 1-hour if requested.

“5 stars are not enough. Cinthia went above and beyond to help us at short notice. She took excellent care of our cat, Niles, and I am so happy I found her. Definitely keeping her as a sitter. Thank you for all the photo updates, making sure he was comfortable, and for just being awesome!”
“Emily took great care of our cats while we were away. She was prompt, attentive and followed all of my directions perfectly. She kept me updated with photos and messages, giving us peace of mind that the cats were well taken care of. I will definitely request Emily again for drop in care for our cats for another trip.”

“Jessica was a wonderful and reliable caretaker for our cat, Ollie! We went away for three days and had her do a drop-in visit on the second day while we were gone. She provided photos and videos of him and gave us peace of mind that he was doing well, was eating, and that he hadn't thrown a wild house party while we were gone 😅. Before the drop-in visit, Jessica also came to our apartment to meet Ollie, and so that we could show her the key system in our building. Would definitely book Jessica again!”

“Katherine was a fantastic cat sitter. She was very reliable and communicative. Several curveballs were thrown her way (ants, cat medicine, etc) and she was able to handle them all in a professional manner. One of my cats who usually hides (even from me), seemed to really take a liking to her and came out from their hiding place. I would not hesitate to hire her again.”

About: I’ve had animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, birds, and reptiles. I’ve trained multiple puppies, cared for senior dogs, and have years of experience looking after cats. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and always make sure each pet feels safe and loved. I currently work from home, so I have a flexible schedule for walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. At the moment, I’m not able to offer boarding, as my own pets may not adjust well to new animals in the home. My approach is calm and understanding. I like to respect each pet’s unique personality and habits. I don’t believe in being overly strict, but I always make sure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since having our first family dog when I was little. I trained our family dog to not only have discipline, but also do tricks! I recently trained my friend’s dog to do some fun tricks too. I love to give the pups all the attention and patience they deserve. I shared a cat all through college with my roommate and am familiar with cats needs. I currently have Friday-Sunday off so I’d love to board or do walks on the weekend. I’m also available in the mornings and evenings if walks are needed then. I live close to lots of walking paths and dog parks. It’s a great area to go on long walks or to the dog parks!

A little bit about myself, I live with husband and 2 fur babies. I have owned various size and breed of dogs since I was in elementry schools. Right now I have 3 small dogs( all were adopted), one is a senior and one is handicapped. They go out for walks at least 30 min per day in the parks, and I groom them myself. We trained them well and they dont beg by the table, they dont bark for no reasons, and they are well socialized. I am so grateful for able to take care them. One of the dog is 15 years old she got adopted by us at age 7, she came with anxiety issues. we retrained her to relieve herself outdoor, she learned fast, and she was rehabilitated into a wonderful, fun, loving dog. The handicapped one has a birth defects but he is the sweetest dog I ever owned, he is well behaved and very smart. I want to pour more time into taking care of these amazing pets, they are not just dogs, they are our family, companions and true friends I work as arts and craft teacher at elementry school (5 hours per week). I also teach 3 hours per week at the YMCA. I have ample time to take care of the dogs. At my home the dogs are being monitored with servalliace camera. I let them out every 2 -4 hours during the day if I am home. Our yard is fenced. They get 2 meals a day. some treats. I follow clients instruction on taking care of dogs.

“Natasha went above and beyond when taking care of Roscoe. He is a bit of a fearful dog, but he took right away to Natasha and even rolled over for a belly rub, which he never ever has done with a stranger before. She must have some sort of special touch. She is responsible, keeps in constant contact, followed all of my instructions, and Roscoe obviously loved her. We will definitely be using her again in the future.”

Stamford dog parents share their Rover experiences
I had a wonderful experience with my dog sitter and would absolutely book with her again! She took excellent care of my two dogs and was attentive, kind, gentle, and professional throughout the entire process. She followed all instructions carefully, kept me updated, and treated my dogs as if they were her own. It gave me tremendous peace of mind knowing my pets were in such caring hands while I was away. When I returned home, my dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and trustworthy pet sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of my girls! 🐾❤️

i never met elvia, only spoke on the phone, making arrangements for my dog. Having never met her, leaving my house keys was honestly a bit uncomfortable for me. however, given her excellent reviews, i decided to just trust and go for it. elvia came exactly on time, fed and played with my dog for a half hour and then left. everything went just as planned. her communication was great, which was essential, and put me at ease. i had a postive experience.

Nicole is wonderful with my Atlas. She is always on time, communicative, and sends lots of pics. I was concerned that he might develop separation anxiety when I returned to work, but Nicole’s drop-ins keep him happy and engaged (the only separation anxiety is mine 😊). Her consistency and experience is helping him learn his manners (leash and potty etiquette) very well.

Hanaya is perfect! I can only say good things! She helped us out in a terrible pinch. She was responsive and prompt about it, willing to commit to what I consider to be a challenging job, and she did it reliably and proved very flexible as well. I’m going to use her again the next time something comes up!
Evelina was absolutely amazing with my Marley while I was away on a week-long cruise. From the start, she was professional, kind, and very communicative, which gave me real peace of mind. She sent regular updates and photos, and it was clear Marley was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. When I got back, Marley was relaxed, healthy, and clearly loved his time with her. Evelina truly treated him like her own. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend Evelina to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring Rover helper.
