Doggy Day Care in Stamford

About: I will take care of your dog(s) as my own! I have been pet sitting since my college years and now I am happy to offer a great family environment for your pets at my home. I have a friendly Golden Retriever and a large fenced yard for the dogs to play and explore. I am full time stay at home mom and I am always watching the dogs. They are cared for in a family setting, roaming free around the house, the ones who are boarded spend dinner time and evening time cuddling and watching movies with us. They are included in everything we do around the house, brushed and cleaned daily, and spend a lot of time playing outdoors. I love all breeds, but currently taking care of medium to large dogs, family friendly breeds only. We live in a quiet residential area, so please be respectful of the neighborhood. Please know that: - Drop off and pick up hours are 8am-7pm by appointment only. - No Saturday drop offs and pickups in respect for our family time. - Boarding is 2 nights minimum; 3 nights on holiday weekends. - Daycare must be on recurring weekdays, no daycare on weekends. - We offer discounted rates for long-term stays. - Calendar is always updated up to 6 months ahead. Trust and safety of your dog(s) are my top priorities as I know what it takes boarding my own dog while away. - I have a fully fenced yard and a few designated dog areas in my home to play and sleep. - My lawn is treated for ticks seasonally with pet safe materials. - I only board family friendly breeds for the safety of everyone. - Rough play is not allowed in my home. - Dogs do not leave property while boarded; they get to play in the yard all day. - They don’t get to interact with any dogs that are not personally known by me. - No table food is offered unless specifically agreed with owner. - Each dog sleeps on their own bed in a separate gated area at night, unless they are from the same family. - The orthopedic dog beds are washed after each boarding. - The yard is kept clean of doggy poop at all times.

I see Steph as an amazing second dog mom; she is gentle, caring and best of all, very detailed and meticulous to make sure my Dixie is always comfortable, safe and actually happy as a day camper or overnight boarder no matter the weather. Plus my baby gets lots of walks and photos every time. Steph is also very accommodating. Once, she had to drop off and pick up my Dixie from a dog care facility that we earlier arranged because she had vacation plans in the middle of our needed number of boarding days. She didn’t have to, but she lingered after dropping Dixie off to make sure she was settled and calm before she took off. Bonus: Pote, Steph’s darling little dog, has been great company for my furry baby. His healthy and well-groomed appearance proves Steph’s consistency and commitment to being a wonderful dog parent and caregiver. Her husband also connects with the dogs to make them feel at home. My Dixie just loves all of them! One last note: Steph has been our go-to long before she joined Rover, so that I am 100% confident she’ll quickly become one of the most sought after sitters and pet boarders in our area. About: I have taken care of dogs for over 10 years. Knowledgeable in Brachycephalic Dog. Friends and Families have relied on me for all their pet needs. Very responsive to any questions or concerns. Your furry friend is in great care with my family and I. I currently work from home and have the ability to take full care of your pet during the day. I have multiple open spaces in my house for your pets to feel comfortable in I have one 8 year old French Bulldog who is very friendly and loves interacting with other dogs. Also have open spaces for your pets to roam around in. Outside my house, I have large open spaces for your pet to walk and run in, along with going to the bathroom.
