Hi! I’m Elvia, and I absolutely love animals. What started as a way to spend more time with pets has turned into something I genuinely love doing. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, personalities, and energy levels, and I treat every pet that comes into my care as if they were one of my own. I’m a very hands-on sitter, and I believe pets deserve more than just food, potty breaks, and a place to sleep. I want them to feel comfortable, loved, and included. I have experience with puppies, adult dogs, senior pets, and cats, including shy or nervous pets who need a little extra patience to warm up. I’m comfortable following medication schedules, special feeding instructions, individual routines, and those funny little quirks that make every pet unique. Puppies are welcome in my home, and I understand that puppy life comes with accidents, zoomies, chewing, and lots of energy! I’m also comfortable caring for calmer senior pets who prefer a slower pace and plenty of cuddles. One of my favorite parts of boarding is watching a pet go from “Where am I?” on the first day to completely settling in and becoming part of our family.

Schedule
Because I board pets in my home, they become part of our everyday routine. I have a family and pets of my own, so your dog will have plenty of human companionship rather than being left alone for long periods. I keep their normal routine as much as possible and make sure they get plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and downtime. Some dogs want to play all day, while others are happiest lounging next to you—and I’m happy to meet them where they are. For house sitting, I focus on keeping your pet comfortable in their own home and maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I’m happy to provide regular updates so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

A typical day
It depends on the personality of the pet! We can go for walks, play fetch, spend time in the yard, have play sessions with toys, go on adventures, or simply hang out and get lots of pets and cuddles. I’ve even had pups join me for hikes and outdoor adventures when appropriate. For the more laid-back pets, sometimes the perfect day is simply lounging together. And yes—there will be plenty of belly rubs, treats, and attention. 😊

- The more I know about your pet, the better I can care for them! Please let me know about their normal routine, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, potty habits, sleeping arrangements, favorite activities, fears, triggers, and any quirks they may have. I especially appreciate knowing how they interact with other dogs, cats, children, and new people. If your pet is shy, nervous, reactive, or needs extra patience, please tell me—there is absolutely no judgment. I’d much rather know ahead of time so I can make their stay as comfortable and positive as possible. My goal is simple: I want your pet to feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away. And I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re in good hands.
