About: Hello! My name is Skyler and I am currently a mammal trainer at an AZA accredited aquarium with a background in veterinary care. I would love to help walk your dog, whether you have certain training goals or just needing extra help while you are at work! I started my career by walking my friend’s crazy, (but adorable) puppy in high school. I was able to help train the puppy during every walk, and left her tired out when her owner got home. I am off two of the busiest days of the week- Monday and Tuesday. I have full availability to do drop ins, daycare, or dog walks! I have an unfenced yard and plenty of grass out front. I take frequent trips to my local park that has tons of room to play.
“Our cats were very happy when we came back, we got consistent updates and photos, she was communicative and she did what we had asked regarding the care of our kitties as well as keeping our home secure. We recommend booking Patricia, and will use her in the future! Thank you! 😻😻”

About: Growing up with pets, it’s something that I’ve naturally always loved. I enjoy seeing my pets pampered and happy, and it’s a joy that I hope to express with other people. I’m currently a student and work part time. I go to school and work earlier in the day, so I’m available Sunday, (SOME Mondays & Tuesdays), Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 2:00PM to 7:00PM I live in a pet friendly apartment complex and neighborhood. There’s a lot of space for walking or playing right outside. In my own home, I have a playpen for my pups whenever I’m not home so that I know they’re safe while I’m away.
“I am a new Rover user and was nervous about entrusting my 8-month-old puppy to someone I didn't know. But Samantha exceeded expectations in many ways! She clearly loves dogs and was excited to meet my Yogi. She gave him a wonderful walk, made sure he had plenty of water, and even adjusted her schedule to meet our preferred timeline. Yogi was happy as a clam when we got home, and we are thrilled that we now have a reliable sitter to call for future needs.”

About: I am a dependable and caring dog walker with hands-on experience assisting my wife with her dog sitting business. Over the years, I have helped care for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities by providing walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and general attention to their needs. I work full time, but my schedule is structured in a way that allows me to dedicate four days off each week to pet care. This flexible routine gives me the ability to consistently support busy dog owners who need reliable help during the day. Safe and reliable dog care provided in a clean, comfortable, and home-based setting where pets are treated like family. I focus on creating a calm and secure environment where dogs feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for throughout the day.
“We have had Tanya over for drop in visits multiple times. My dog is so happy when she arrives and instantly wants to play. She gives thorough report cards and lots of photos. Thank you!”

“Loren was awesome. We were away for 3 days and she took such great care of our Apollo who got sick while we were away and he loved her upon meeting her. We were happy to have found her. Book her!!”

About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong dog enthusiast with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all shapes and sizes. I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life- currently, I share my home with the light of my life, Apple - my sweet pup of 4 years. I attend dog training classes every Sunday with her and use top-quality treats to reinforce positive behavior with love, patience, and play. I am also familiar with reactive dog training and advanced tactics to help dogs feel at ease, especially when in their own home environment. My goal is to make every dog feel happy, safe, and well-loved! Whether it's a quick walk or extended care, your pup will be treated like one of my own! I am an elementary school teacher during the school year, so my schedule is very flexible in the summertime. I'm not available for overnights, since I have my own dog at home, but I am available the rest of the day, including most weekends! I am a firm believer in a walk at least every 4-5 hours and ample play and exercise throughout the day. Dogs need stimulation, whether that be through tug, fetch, training through tricks, or sniffing walks. Oh, and lots and lots of belly rubs! I can also take care of any hygiene requests including, but not limited to baths, brushing, and teeth brushing depending on the dog.
About: I have taken care of my neighbors, family's, and friend's dogs since I can remember. I am currently a working part-time student on summer break from university. So I have the extra time to be the helping hand you need to help take care of your pets when necessary, whether it be drop-in visits or taking them on a much deserved walk. Ensuring the safety of your four-legged loved one is of the upmost importance and as a pet care provider I like to ensure their safety and comfort through proper care. Such as following any additional comments left by pet owners, taking the extra step to make sure your pet is comfortable while playing in their own yard or enjoying a nature stroll, and also taking the extra step as a pet care provider to watch out for any signs that your pet might be in distress and addressing the situation in a quick and calm manner which ensures the best experience for your loved one.

Having a last minute, long trip come up was made easier knowing someone who loves cats and is responsible was helping me out in my apartment and with my cat. About: I grew up in a household where dogs weren't just pets—they were family. While I’ve spent my life loving and caring for dogs, I’ve chosen to wait on getting my own to ensure I can eventually give one the full-time attention they deserve. My wife encouraged me to start dog walking because she knows how much joy I find in connecting with animals. My goal is to provide your dog with the same level of care, patience, and affection I’d give my own. Whether it’s an energetic walk or a cozy drop-in visit, I look forward to keeping your pets happy, active, and well-loved! Monday – Wednesday (Office Days): I offer "Sunrise & Sunset" sessions. I’m available for brisk morning walks before 8:00 AM to start their day right, or evening strolls after 6:00 PM to help them wind down. Thursday & Friday (Home Office): I have mid-day flexibility. Since I work from home these days, I can drop in for lunch-time relief or afternoon playtime. Weekends: Full availability. I’m off and ready for longer adventure walks or extended visits! “A fantastic relationship through and through. Kim is extremely responsive to communications. Her interaction with my little dog Fred - who is very shy and tentative with new people - was great. She reassured me during my trip that Fred was doing well and interacted with Kim very well. I am grateful for the sitting / home visits Kim provided. I would not hesitate to use Kim in the future.”

About: I owned and adored many animals from the day I was born until I was 21 when my beloved golden retrievers passed away. It wasn't until my dad began walking and boarding dogs for Rover that I realized how much I wanted to help. He started at a local senior living home, where we met Clouseau, a dementia patient's dog we adopted. I also worked there for two years, serving food to the residents. Clouseau was the first of many dogs my dad took in for his Rover job. There were usually up to 7 dogs in the house at a time, including ours. I love dogs, so naturally, it was heaven to me! I assisted my dad with daily walks and took on one of his client's dogs. His name is Scout, and I've been walking and boarding him for three years since he was a puppy. I have consistently been a dependable dog walker for Scout and a trusted and reliable resource for pet-sitting services during other friends' vacations. I enjoy working with Scout so much that I started my Rover account to expand my knowledge of animals and spend my time aiding in their healthy, happy lives! I aim to treat every animal as my own since I don't own any pets. I guarantee safe, loving, and attentive care. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate early morning, lunch, and late afternoon walks. I am also available throughout the week to suit your pets' needs. My home is a secure apartment with ample space for pet care. I ensure their safety by using proper equipment and maintaining clean, well-supervised areas. While there isn't a fenced area for your pets, numerous safe spaces are available for walking and play. Rest assured, your pets will be in a secure and comfortable environment under my care.

My first two pets were not traditional pets but taught me the responsibility of caring for one just the same. I have also worked with puppies and done obedience training with them. In addition, I have experience in adminstering medications I am very skilled with animals, and I've also been around cats and dogs my whole life as well as have 2 cats of my own. I'd be a trustworthy, reliable, and responsible sitter! I have experience with all sorts of dogs and cats, big and small, shy or outgoing, and even dogs or cats that have been rescued from tough backgrounds. Feel free to message me and I will try to get back as soon as possible! I work part time (usually Thursday-Sunday) as a bartender. I usually go in at around 7/8 pm, meaning I can make it for pet dinner time! During the day, I work from home so I have flexibility there. Norwalk dog parents share their Rover experiences
Micheal did such a wonderful dog with Daisy. The report cards let us know that walks were timely, a great length and loved that we could keep up with the photos he provided. Daisy is “newly” adopted and we are still learning her ways and with Micheal’s skills we could see how helpful he was with advancing Daisys own comprehension of commands. We will absolutely be using Micheal in the future as long as he’s not already fully booked.

Wendy Johanna was really great watching our dog for a few days! Our dog is usually anxious and timid with new people but she seemed to warm up to Wendy quickly. Wendy was great at communicating with us and sending lots of updates, photos and videos that really helped us relax knowing our dog was being looked after. I’d definitely recommend Wendy and will use her again in the future! 🐶
Daniel was the absolute BEST! We could not have asked for a better dog watcher. My family and I were away, leaving our pups alone for the first time. Daniel was super reassuring before, during and even after his time with us. He is very responsive to messages, sends check in messages with every visit and even did some extra efforts to make sure our pups felt comfortable. 10/10 recommend.
