About: I bring several years of professional pet-sitting experience to every visit. I worked as a cat sitter with Katie’s Kitty of New York City before becoming the company’s Queens manager, where I helped oversee both pet care and a team of sitters. In the time I have lived in Fairfield County, I have had three rescue cats and two large breed dogs. I’m experienced with cats of all personalities, from outgoing and playful to shy, cautious, and independent, and I understand how important it is to respect each animal’s individual routine and comfort level. I’m also comfortable caring for dogs, including large breeds, and have plenty of firsthand experience with the needs and personalities of big dogs. Most importantly, I know that having someone care for your pet means trusting them with a beloved member of your family and with your home. I take that responsibility seriously. You can expect dependable, attentive care, good communication, plenty of updates and photos, and lots of affection when your pet wants it! I currently have a flexible schedule and can often accommodate morning, daytime, and evening visits throughout the week. I keep my service area relatively close to home so I can be dependable, punctual, and give each visit the time and attention it deserves. My availability can vary with my professional schedule, but I keep my Rover calendar up to date and only accept bookings I know I can fully commit to. Once I’m booked to care for your pet, you can count on me to be there! I love and care for the pets I sit for as if they were my own. I take the responsibility of caring for someone else’s beloved pet and home very seriously, and I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they are in caring, capable hands. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully and maintain the routines their pets know, from feeding and medications to walks, playtime, litter care, and companionship. Safety is always a priority. I’m attentive to doors, gates, leashes, food restrictions, and anything else that could affect your pet’s well-being. I also pay close attention to behavior and will let you know if I notice anything unusual. My years working professionally in pet care have taught me how much trust is involved in giving someone access to your home and putting a beloved pet in their care. I treat both with tremendous care and respect. You can expect reliable communication, plenty of updates and photos, and most importantly, a pet who is genuinely loved and cared for while you’re away.

About: I grew up with two dogs and two cats my whole life! I’ve been a pet sitter to my family members and friends for the past decade and love animals. My job and travel schedule does not allow me to have my own dog full time but I would love to have the opportunity to take care of yours :) I’m very responsible and caring to pets and humans!! I work full time but work from home Thursday/Friday and of course am free on weekends! I can re-arrange my WFH schedule to best suit your dogs needs. When I work from home I typically have very few if any meetings, instead I go on walks or runs and enjoy the outdoors (weather permitting ☺️) I have a fenced in terrace that is 25 x 20 ft for any dogs to enjoy at their leisure when I pet sit! I am very responsible and vigilant as a sitter. My primary concern are the pets I’m sitting and will be very consistent with that mindset for the duration of their stay.

About: QUALITY NOT QUANTITY. I DO NOT TAKE A LOT OF DOGS and CATS AS WELL. If your dog chews please let me know, as I will find out and I do not want any misunderstandings. I cannot take destructive dogs any longer. I devote all my time to the pets that stay with me. Just see my reviews. You will not find anyone as devoted or experienced or as loving. My years of experience have benefited others. Any dog that stays with me will receive all of my attention. I also ask that client's do not bring their own blankets, toys, bowls, etc. As I have plenty and prefer to use my own. Also, dogs can become possessive of their own toys so I have 'communal' toys for all to enjoy equally. All my time is devoted to my dogs and cats and those that are in my care. I am a vet tech and groomer over 20 yrs. Extremely safe. Fenced in yard, never left alone. Walk on strong lead if owner wishes. I can give medicines, injections, etc. I have cared for dogs and cats with cancer, diabetes and more. I work part-time from home as a consultant. Therefore, I am here 98% of the time. Dogs aren't left unattended. Very safe here, very accommodating. I am now going forward as to not take dogs with separation anxiety and/or destructive behaviors. Although I dealt with this when my ex-husband and I ran a training and boarding facility for 15 yrs; I cannot take dogs with extreme behavioral issues. I do know other sitters that will on and off Rover, if this is your dog I can refer. I work from home. They dogs are not left unattended. They are always supervised and observed throughout stay. I actively engage with them to ensure a happy time. Front and back yards fully fenced in. Inescapable property. Able to run and play, at intervals throughout the day. Never outside unattended, always supervised and observed. Cats are always kept inside.

About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a small kid! If you have 3 pups or more, I just charge for 2! When I turned 17 I worked at a doggy daycare called rover retreat, where I fell in love with taking care of dogs! I went to school in Colorado, my native state, for a couple of years, where I dog sat off and on. I decided to pick my life up and move to the city of Stamford with my to be closer with my girlfriend's family. I love to teach pups tricks and enrich the lives of all animals! About: I have been taking care of dogs since we brought one into our home 3 years ago. It's important to me that a pet feels safe and cared for while their owner is away. I'm currently a stay at home mom with school aged children so I have plenty of time to make visits to see your cat or dog. About: I'm Steven, a former science teacher who turned a lifelong love of animals into full-time pet care. I've cared for my own dogs for years (John, a Yorkie, and Lucy, my senior Chihuahua) and have looked after friends' and neighbors' dogs, cats, and small pets for as long as I can remember. I'm Fear Free Certified and Red Cross Pet First Aid & CPR certified, and I'm fully insured and bonded. Teaching taught me patience, routine, and how to read what someone needs when they can't say it in words, which is exactly what good pet care takes. Every booking is handled personally by me, so you'll always know who's showing up at your door. I do this full-time, so your pet is a priority, not a side gig. For house sitting I keep your pet on their normal routine, same feeding times, walks, and bedtime, and I send photo and text updates throughout so you can relax while you're away. I follow feeding and medication instructions exactly (I give my own senior dog her meds on a strict schedule, so I take it seriously). Every booking starts with a free meet & greet so your pet and I are comfortable before anything is confirmed. Since I come to you, your pet stays in their own home, familiar surroundings, their own bed and yard, which keeps them calmest, especially seniors and anxious pets. About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and now my love has grown even more. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for friends and family. I deal a lot with active dogs since I have two Siberian husky of my own and a Mutt mix. Im currently working part time-usually available every mornings, mid day depending on the week, weekends available all day once booked in advance sometimes flexible if booked late, and definitely available overnight at anytime. I can do anywhere in Greenwich, Stamford, Darien, Norwalk, Westport and Southport. I will treat your furry pets as they are like mine.
