27. Katherine R.

“Katherine was a fantastic cat sitter. She was very reliable and communicative. Several curveballs were thrown her way (ants, cat medicine, etc) and she was able to handle them all in a professional manner. One of my cats who usually hides (even from me), seemed to really take a liking to her and came out from their hiding place. I would not hesitate to hire her again.”

28. maria alexandra v.
“I do not think it is an exaggeration to say that Maria loves dogs more than kiddos - and this is a woman who has been hailed as a phenomenal nanny by several families over the last several years. Many people will ask to pet new dogs that they meet, but Maria truly falls in love with every single one. In fact this is true of all animals, but she does have a special place in her heart for doggos. I probably do not have space to write all the stories I could about this part of her life, but here are a few. In addition to the dogs she has cared for while nannying (5 in total), she has had no less than 4 dogs of her own. She has raised newborn puppies, and she has rescued dogs (and cats) that she found abandoned in the street, or that were left by families that could no longer care for them. In fact just the other day she turned the car around when she believed she saw a dog being tied to a pole on the side of the road, but thankfully the owner was only taking a rest and did stay with the animal the entire time. Maria is from Colombia, which has a complicated dog culture. There is an abundance of dogs throughout the country, but they are not always well cared for, and many end up as strays. I personally witnessed her nurture a hungry stray dog while staying at a fancy resort. While the proprietors tried to shoo the animal, thinking it was being bothersome, Maria was actually encouraging the dog to approach. She then calmed him into trusting her so that she could give him some food and water, and he later followed us to our cabana and slept outside. We currently have two dogs in our family, and if I didn’t see it with my own eyes every day, I would not believe two dogs could ever be this happy and comfortable. She does not simply provide them food and water. She rolls around and plays with them whenever they bring her one of their favorite toys, and she lays down with them on whatever surface of the house suits them in the moment. They have so many choices, with 3 beds of their own, a comfy couch and ottoman, and even occasionally our own bed. She bathes them, grooms them, cleans their teeth, and even paints their nails (yes really!). To them, I may be one of their “humans”, but she is truly a part of their pack. Arya, Kathy (our mini French poodles), and Maria would love a chance to share their love with the special furry member of your family, and I promise they will be so very well cared for!!”

29. Chandni B.

“We are so happy we found Chandni. She has been such a great help with taking care of our two cats when we are of of town. She sends us frequent updates with pictures and our cats love her. She is very reliable and caring. We highly recommend Chandni!”

30. Susana G.
“Susana took care of my dog and is very good with him, she sent me photos all the time and I followed the instructions, she is very loving with him”

31. Leonard P.
“Leo was great taking care of our cats while we were abroad. One of our cats is 18 and needed medicine, Leo made sure he got it and even sent us pictures of the medicine before he administered it! At each visit, he stayed the amount of time promised, the cats looked healthy and happy when we got home. I would definitely use Leo again!”

32. Jael F.

“Jael was great! Stopped by to get the lay of the land and then took excellent care of my 2 cats. They were happy and well looked after when I got back. Jael was thorough and even went back a second time one day to check something for me.”

33. Lisa G.
“We couldn’t be happier with Lisa as our pet sitter! Our dogs, Wesley and Zeppelin, absolutely love when she comes to watch them. Recently, she stayed at our home for six days while we were out of town and provided daily photos and updates, which we really appreciated. Knowing that our dogs were in their own home, being cared for by someone so attentive and reliable, gave us complete peace of mind. Lisa truly goes above and beyond—we highly recommend her!”

34. Patrícia C.

“Patrícia was amazing!! She was wonderful with our two cats, was super communicative, and was all around fantastic! Thank you thank you!”

35. Elvia C.

“Elvia was incredible. She sent us updates throughout her time with our dog, Cora. She is very flexible and helpful in time of short notice. Cora was exhausted at the end of the day so she was taken great care of. We will 100 percent keep using Elvia in the future for our dog. Highly recommend”

36. Ferris A.
“Ferris takes amazing care of my cat when I am away. He spends time with her so she does not get lonely, plays with her, and treats her like she is his own cat. Also, he has been able to give medication to my cat. Ferris is responsible, responsive, and proactive as a pet sitter.”

37. Rossana L.
About: I have taken care of dogs for more than 20 years. I personally have owned several dogs throughout my life and currently have 2 fur babies. I have friends and family that have always relied on me to care for their babies in my home or theirs. I currently work 10 min for my home and have weekends off. It allows me to do frequent potty breaks during the day and full play time in the mornings and late afternoon. I have a fenced in yard and 2 wonderful fur babies to keep your doggy company. I can easily continue any crate training or your fur baby can have their own room with a full daybed and tv.

38. Samantha D.

“I am a new Rover user and was nervous about entrusting my 8-month-old puppy to someone I didn't know. But Samantha exceeded expectations in many ways! She clearly loves dogs and was excited to meet my Yogi. She gave him a wonderful walk, made sure he had plenty of water, and even adjusted her schedule to meet our preferred timeline. Yogi was happy as a clam when we got home, and we are thrilled that we now have a reliable sitter to call for future needs.”
