About: I grew up with pets all my life especially dogs. whenever my family has went on vacation they would call me to watch and take care of their pets. I also have a 16 year old shih tzu. my dog has allergies so I am well rehearsed in caring for dogs with allergies and administering oral medication or cream/ointment medication. He is also going blind so I have experience on handling dogs with vision impairment as well as neurological issues. I work until 5 during the week but some days i work from home and would be able to step out during those times. my weekends are open! my dog is a rescue so I have a lot of experience with anxious animals. I'm also very good at keeping a set schedule for the animals if needed for food or play time.

About: In my early life, I had bunnies. I then got a bearded dragon when I was 15 and got my first dog in my senior year of high school. My first two pets were not traditional pets but taught me the responsibility of caring for one just the same. I have also worked with puppies and done obedience training with them. In addition, I have experience in adminstering medications I am very skilled with animals, and I've also been around cats and dogs my whole life as well as have 2 cats of my own. I'd be a trustworthy, reliable, and responsible sitter! I have experience with all sorts of dogs and cats, big and small, shy or outgoing, and even dogs or cats that have been rescued from tough backgrounds. I usually go in at around 7/8 pm, meaning I can make it for pet dinner time! During the day, I work from home so I have flexibility there. I would care for your pet in your home and follow any directions provided. I would keep the space the way it was when I arrrived and only access pet care areas.

I do not have any pets. I recently lost my beautiful Choco to cancer. He was a beautiful brown golden doodle but looked more like a brown golden retriever. I also have a catio on my balcony for some fresh air. If needed, I will separate my cats from more reactive animals while in my care.

About: Socialized dogs will absolutely have a great time staying with me as we spend time at the dog park and make new friends! High energy pups are my favorite as I'm a long distance runner and can handle extended walks/runs with your buddy. I've had 3 years experience at dog kennels and was responsible for monitoring group play of up to 20 dogs in one yard. Puppy group play was my favorite and most intensive role as I was trained to recognize dog body language and maintain safety when pups were getting too ruff. During my time in kennels, I also was able to provide scheduled feedings and administer oral medications daily. My family owns an elderly dog with arthritis, and during cold months I am willing to carry dogs up/down stairs to avoid slips on snow/ice. During a long-term stay I will gladly spend time with your pooch for walks, play time and socializing, naps, massages, and feedings. Observing dog behavior during each of these parts of our day is important to me. This allows me have a detailed report of your pet's stay when you return. Keeping track of any behavioral, digestive, or sleep-related issues is always made a top priority for my guests. I typically begin my day with walking any dogs that are staying overnight with me, could be at the dog park, then feeding them, and then heading out for 1-2 hours to walk my regular clients on weekdays. With winter approaching, we may need to minimize time spent on walks during heavy snow/rain. However, larger breeds who can handle snow days are encouraged to stay with me for extended outdoor play. It's very important to me to establish trust with new dogs at their own pace. This is easily done by giving the typical commands and rewarding with treats, as well as affirming trust on leashed walks. In my apartment building there are other dogs who live on my floor, and I'm very vigilant about who is in the hallway or stairwells when I am taking a dog outside. Within my apartment unit, your pet can freely relax on the couch or large rugs I have. Smaller breeds are also welcome to relax on my bed along with me when its time to sleep. I do my best to keep dogs calm and like to be hands on with lots of belly rubs and ear scratching as most dogs seem to really enjoy that. Its also important to me to clean my apartment before and after I have pets staying overnight.

About: Hello, I am an empty nester mom of two independent children and have received immense enjoyment and fulfillment from petsitting. I received an associate veterinary degree earlier in life and have had a passion for animals all my life. I have always owned dogs until I had to put down my last dog- a Weimeraner. Since then- I have enjoyed getting close to my clients dogs. I do walks/feedings and also board clients dogs at my home when they are away. Physical fitness is important to me so I enjoy walking or hiking the dogs I care for ! I work a small amount of part time hours so am home a good deal. Your loved one will receive lots of attention ! About: I've had three dogs in my life. One turned 17 this year. She's a happy old lady but does require some medications that I have learned to administer and I make sure they are given on time and properly. I enjoy taking my pups on long walks on nice days. Aside from my personal dogs I have spent time house and dog sitting for two other people with various different dog types with different personalities. For one of these people, she is also a dog sitter and I assisted her in one emergency situation where she needed needed me to stay the weekend and care for the five dogs in her care plus her two minor children. I work full time with set hours Monday - Friday. I'm free weekends. Early morning walks are easily done but afternoon walks are after 4. Depending on location, how close a location is to my job, I do have a 30min lunch where I can run out and give a quick walk. For my personal dog I tend to do a good long walk in the morning and another good long walk after 4 to make up for the long day. I've never worried about bathroom accidents with her. I love dogs. That's just a fact. I protect them anyway I can. I have gone out to look for neighborhood lost dogs, I have seen paw prints, but no shoe prints, in the snow during a snow storm and I went out searching for what I was sure was a lost escaped dog. Before leaving my house, I do a scan to make sure there's nothing dangerous out that my dog could access, hanging cords, small items, loose treats, etc... to make sure she's always safe.

I currently have a pretty flexible schedule and can usually accommodate a variety of times throughout the week.
