“Robin took great care of our dog. She sent updates throughout the day and when we picked him up, I could tell he was very relaxed and happy and enjoyed his time with her and her family. We will definitely use her again for our dog!”

“Excellent care of my puppy again. My little Bailey can sometimes be shy or anxious. When I dropped her off, she was so excited to be there, ran off to play immediately and never looked back! Lol That let me know that she likes it there and this family takes care of her.”

“Christina was great with our Trixie. She was very attentive to her special needs and very understanding about our concerns leaving our dog for several days for the first time. She kept us informed how things were going and was great administering meds as needed. We have already requested to rebook. Christina has a lovely home and family. Your dog will be safe and well cared for with her.”

“It was our first time boarding Cleo, our 4 year old labrador, with Gwynne, and it was an excellent experience! Gwynne was very quick to respond to inquiries, took time to ask about Cleo, offered to arrange a “meet and greet” to make sure that Cleo gets along with her own dog, Flash. During her stay, we received daily updates with cute pictures and videos. Cleo got ton of exercises with Gwynne and her family, they even took her to lake Mohegan which is Cleo’s favorite destination! Overall I highly recommend Gwynne! Cleo will be back!”
“Second time leaving Cobie with Diana and her family and Cobie couldn’t have been more excited when we pulled back up to the house! So grateful to find someone to look after her like she was their own, that sends tons of updates and enjoys her quirky lovable Golden vibes. Thanks again and 100% will reach out next time I travel to see you all can watch Cobie again!”
“She was a great dog sitter, reliable, caring, and my dog loved her. I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in good hands. she kept an open line of communication and sent pictures each day to keep me up dated”

“Jay was great! I was very worried about leaving my dogs and I thought they would drive him nuts. He gave me updates which I appreciated. The fact that he lives very close to me was very convenient. If I go out of town again, I will definitely re-book with Jay.”

Great overall experience! Thank you Jack for taking such wonderful care of our energetic baby Rex. Thank you also for the daily updates and videos, it was most comforting being so far away and being away from him for the first time. I would reach out again to Jack/Rover immediately if we are ever in need again.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
