“Alice was great and was able to help us out on short notice! She got a lot of instructions and still did great with Bugsy and meeting her needs. She was super sweet and communicated with us well. We’re so grateful for her doing a wonderful job with Bugsy!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all kinds since I was 10. Friends and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and give plenty of love to their pets. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and cats always treating them like part of my family. I love keeping pets happy, healthy, and comfortable while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule, so I can spend plenty of time with pets each day. I’m available for dog walking, cat care, playtime, and more. I make sure every pet feels safe and comfortable in my care. I provide a calm, clean, and pet friendly environment, and I follow all instructions from owners closely.
“Our dog is anxious when he separates so when Dahn texted five minutes after we'd left on an errand, we expected the worst. Instead, we were elated to hear everything was going swimmingly. Dahn had charmed our dog and kept him completely happy and engaged. The balance of the hour was more of the same. We're looking forward to her return.”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I helped care for my family’s Shih Tzu, Kelly, who lived a long life and gave me experience caring for an older dog and understanding the extra patience and attention senior pets need. More recently, I had my Frenchie, Tyson, who recently passed away. We spent so much time together going on daily 3-mile walks, cuddling, playing, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Caring for him taught me how important consistency, love, patience, and attentiveness are when it comes to pets. What sets me apart is the genuine care and connection I build with animals. I understand that pets are family, and I treat them with the same love, comfort, and attention I gave my own dogs. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just calm companionship, I’m happy to adapt to their personality and routine. I’ve always had a dog in my life, and I truly enjoy the companionship, activity, and happiness they bring every day. My goal is to make pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while giving owners peace of mind while they’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy being active and spending time with dogs. I’m available every morning for walks and again after 5:30 PM for afternoon/evening walks. I love starting the day with long walks and giving pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need. I’m also available for boarding on Fridays through Sundays. On weekends, I enjoy spending extra time with pups, whether that’s relaxing together, grabbing a pup cup, or visiting the dog park if that’s something your dog enjoys! I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs. In my home, pets will have lots of attention, supervised outdoor time, and space to relax. We have a small fenced-in yard, and I love spending time outside with dogs for fresh air, playtime, and walks. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m happy to follow their normal routine and any instructions they provide to help their pet feel comfortable and secure. If crating is part of their routine, I’m comfortable using a crate both in my home or the client’s home when needed. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I always try to make sure they feel safe, loved, and stress-free while in my care

I want to make sure not only yourself but the dog is as comfortable as can be.

About: I’ve always had three cats growing up and still do today. I’ve also spent my whole life around dogs through family and friends, and I’ve been riding horses for over a decade. I’m comfortable with all animals and would love to meet yours! I'm currently a senior at sacred heart university. I'm looking to fill in my free time by helping out with any pet needs! I have a good amount of free time open and can't wait to start taking care of your animals! I live in an apartment which is dog and cat friendly. It has its own mini dog park/area on site. It also has lots of walking trails for some long walks.

About: Socialized dogs will absolutely have a great time staying with me as we spend time at the dog park and make new friends! High energy pups are my favorite as I'm a long distance runner and can handle extended walks/runs with your buddy. I've had 3 years experience at dog kennels and was responsible for monitoring group play of up to 20 dogs in one yard. Puppy group play was my favorite and most intensive role as I was trained to recognize dog body language and maintain safety when pups were getting too ruff. During my time in kennels, I also was able to provide scheduled feedings and administer oral medications daily. My family owns an elderly dog with arthritis, and during cold months I am willing to carry dogs up/down stairs to avoid slips on snow/ice. During a long-term stay I will gladly spend time with your pooch for walks, play time and socializing, naps, massages, and feedings. Observing dog behavior during each of these parts of our day is important to me. This allows me have a detailed report of your pet's stay when you return. Keeping track of any behavioral, digestive, or sleep-related issues is always made a top priority for my guests. I typically begin my day with walking any dogs that are staying overnight with me, could be at the dog park, then feeding them, and then heading out for 1-2 hours to walk my regular clients on weekdays. With winter approaching, we may need to minimize time spent on walks during heavy snow/rain. However, larger breeds who can handle snow days are encouraged to stay with me for extended outdoor play. It's very important to me to establish trust with new dogs at their own pace. This is easily done by giving the typical commands and rewarding with treats, as well as affirming trust on leashed walks. In my apartment building there are other dogs who live on my floor, and I'm very vigilant about who is in the hallway or stairwells when I am taking a dog outside. Within my apartment unit, your pet can freely relax on the couch or large rugs I have. Smaller breeds are also welcome to relax on my bed along with me when its time to sleep. I do my best to keep dogs calm and like to be hands on with lots of belly rubs and ear scratching as most dogs seem to really enjoy that. Its also important to me to clean my apartment before and after I have pets staying overnight.
About: I have always had at least two dogs in my life since the day I was born until attending college and currently have two living at home in Florida with my mom. I’ve been dog- and cat-sitting and walking on and off for years, both in NYC and around the world. I also have extensive experience with senior dogs and puppies, having owned and cared for both. I’m that person who stops to smile at and pet every dog I pass by. I just moved to Connecticut and want to continue to spend time with animals. I will treat your pets like my own! :) I work part-time, remotely, and on my own schedule, so I have lots of flexibility and time to care for and play with your furry friends! I have cared for pets of all ages and sizes throughout my life, from dogs, cats, horses, and more, and I love being around animals! I am comfortable with high strung puppies, low key older animals, administering medications, going on walks and to play times, and everything in between. I just adore time spent with animals. If you have any specific concerns please don’t hesitate to ask me.
