About: I have had dogs my whole life and i truly love to bond and be with animals. I want to be a vet when im older so i will take this job very seriously and work to the best of my ability. I have pet sit for other dogs before and loved to spend time with some new animal friends. I'm currently a student in high school so i have a lot of time to come and take care of any animals that need. I love to go on walks so if your dog wants to walk, we could walk for hours. I do not have a fenced yard but i am used to having to walk big dogs that i've sat on leashes and they have plenty or backyard space to walk around and do their business. If they need a crate that is also 100% doable.

About: I have always loved animals. I’ve taken care of family and friends’ dogs since I was 16. I treat everyone’s pet as if they were my own! I am currently a graduate student taking classes online, asynchronously. My schedule gives me open availability to take care of your fur baby when needed! I live in a very friendly, safe, low traffic neighborhood. There is an abundance of local dog parks nearby as well. When going outside, I keep them leashed and make sure I can always see them.

Mondays through Thursdays: AM & PM visits before and after work, sometimes can do a lunchtime visit if in Ridgefield. Fridays: AM & PM visit, sometimes can do a lunchtime visit if in Shelton, overnight stays. Saturdays and Sundays: Flexible, 3 visits a day, and overnight stays. Safety is my #1 priority - ensuring your pets feel secure and comfortable. My goal is to provide a stress-free, trustworthy experience which is why I only accept bookings I can confidently handle based on each pet's needs and my experience. During my visits: - I respect your space and follow all care instructions and house rules. - I ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure. Doors are opened with extreme caution. - I ensure they have access to everything they need and their water dishes are full. - For cats, even if they sometimes goes outside, they must be and remain inside for the entirety of my visit. I will ensure their litter boxes are cleaned. - For dogs, there will be double checks of leashes, collars, and/or harnesses.

About: I have taken care of and walked many types of dogs since I can remember. Neighbors have relied on me to take care of their pets when they were away on vacation. I am currently searching for work but I am able to walk animals on the daily. I am also able to drop into peoples homes on the daily I will ensure the safety of the animal following the instructions of the owner. About: Socialized dogs will absolutely have a great time staying with me as we spend time at the dog park and make new friends! High energy pups are my favorite as I'm a long distance runner and can handle extended walks/runs with your buddy. I've had 3 years experience at dog kennels and was responsible for monitoring group play of up to 20 dogs in one yard. Puppy group play was my favorite and most intensive role as I was trained to recognize dog body language and maintain safety when pups were getting too ruff. During my time in kennels, I also was able to provide scheduled feedings and administer oral medications daily. My family owns an elderly dog with arthritis, and during cold months I am willing to carry dogs up/down stairs to avoid slips on snow/ice. During a long-term stay I will gladly spend time with your pooch for walks, play time and socializing, naps, massages, and feedings. Observing dog behavior during each of these parts of our day is important to me. This allows me have a detailed report of your pet's stay when you return. Keeping track of any behavioral, digestive, or sleep-related issues is always made a top priority for my guests. I typically begin my day with walking any dogs that are staying overnight with me, could be at the dog park, then feeding them, and then heading out for 1-2 hours to walk my regular clients on weekdays. With winter approaching, we may need to minimize time spent on walks during heavy snow/rain. However, larger breeds who can handle snow days are encouraged to stay with me for extended outdoor play. It's very important to me to establish trust with new dogs at their own pace. This is easily done by giving the typical commands and rewarding with treats, as well as affirming trust on leashed walks. In my apartment building there are other dogs who live on my floor, and I'm very vigilant about who is in the hallway or stairwells when I am taking a dog outside. Within my apartment unit, your pet can freely relax on the couch or large rugs I have. Smaller breeds are also welcome to relax on my bed along with me when its time to sleep. I do my best to keep dogs calm and like to be hands on with lots of belly rubs and ear scratching as most dogs seem to really enjoy that. Its also important to me to clean my apartment before and after I have pets staying overnight.

About: Full time dog walker for the last four years off Rover. My summer schedule thins out a bit as college kids get home and teachers have summer break, so looking to pick up a few services. I am a lifelong Fairfield resident, former 15 year FPS teacher, and a dad to two boys. I am a full time, professional dog walker. I own my own sitting/walking business and use Rover to fill in the gaps. I’m primarily available weekdays between 9:15 am and 3:00 pm, some evenings after 5:00 pm, and varying weekend hours (just ask!). Please see my calendar for house sitting availability. At the moment I’m using Rover only for drop-in visits and house sitting opportunities. For drop-in’s, your pet will have fresh water, treats (if desired by you), and 20 to 30 minutes of play outside. For house sitting, I will be at your house between the hours of 9 pm and 7 am, with two to three drop-ins/feedings throughout the day.
