About: Im comfortable working with friendly dogs of different ages, including puppies who need extra attention and older dogs who may need a slower, more gentle approach. Plus, my dog is very friendly and enjoys the company, which can help other dogs feel more comfortable and social. I’m currently in school for ultrasound, so with my full-time schedule, I’ve been looking for a flexible way to earn some extra income. I really enjoy walking my dog, and I’m interested in turning that into a small business to help others who need dog walking services while also building connections with other dogs. About: I have taken care of animals ever since I can remember as I grew up with lots of pets and took on responsibility for them from an early age. I have worked on a farm in the past, which gave me the chance to work with all kinds of animals. I love all animals, especially dogs. I have had the opportunity to channel that love into pet sitting and walking other pets for neighbors and clients for about a year. I have taken care of a variety of pets, especially dogs ranging from young puppies to seniors. With my care, clients can be assured that their pets will be safely taken care of and loved. I am a student home for the summer so I have a pretty flexible schedule! I am available throughout the day Monday through Saturday, so I will be able to dedicate lots of time to caring for your pet! I follow any specific instructions for pets, making sure they are well-fed and exercised. I am willing to either play with the pet at home or take them on walks, whichever is preferable.

About: Growing up, dogs were always part of the family. My dad worked at an animal shelter and had a natural gift with animals that I watched and absorbed. When he passed in 2020, I inherited his two dogs and loved them until the end of their lives. I miss them every day. That loss is part of why I’m here. I know how special it is to form these bonds with animals, and how they keep us company through every quiet, mundane moment, not just the walks and the highlights. I’m highly attuned to what animals and people need, even when they can’t say so. It would be my honor to care for yours. For drop-ins I follow the pet’s established routine closely, keep things calm and consistent, and always leave the space as I found it. For house sitting I treat a client’s home with full respect, maintaining the pet’s normal schedule so they barely notice their person is gone.

About: * I have been taking care of my family dogs for nearly 20 years. After moving out on my own I have had the ability to rescue two cats who I love to spoil and care for since I couldn’t have a dog. I’ve recently moved in with my gf and we have an older dog. I love walking dogs and helping owners take care of their animals since I couldn’t have my own for so long due to where I lived. I’d love to be able to help you with your animals and give them exercise and love while you are at work and out of town. I currently work full time in the New Haven area but live in Fairfield! I work a typical 9 am to 430 pm job. I have no issue being up early or staying up late. During the week I can walk your dog or drop in anytime between 4am and 7am and 5:30pm and 11pm. From Friday at 5:30pm until Sunday at midnight I am fully available! If I stay at your home to watch your animal, I will only be gone for work and an hour at the gym. I love my cat and dog and spoil them like crazy. I would treat your animal as if they were my own with lots of love and attention and make sure they have everything they need. I will communicate with you about your animal throughout the visit and make sure you feel comfortable that they are being treated well.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life and have taken care of them since I was little. I have pet sit for dogs, cats, bunnies, fish and etc. I am willing to also house sit while pet sitting. I have house sat for many family friends in the past. In 2020, I graduated high school and have taken a gap year due to the pandemic and to stay safe. I received an associate veterinary degree earlier in life and have had a passion for animals all my life. I have always owned dogs until I had to put down my last dog- a Weimeraner. Since then- I have enjoyed getting close to my clients dogs. I do walks/feedings and also board clients dogs at my home when they are away. About: I have taken care of many, many dogs. I can also come whenever and multiple times a day! No issue! I love playing with dogs just as much as I love taking care of them. I can take care of them at any time. Never too early or too late. I can come multiple times a day or just once! Whatever is needed. I ensure to always have them on leash and in a fenced area. If I am walking the dog and a car comes I ensure s/he is in between my legs. I can also crate the dog if needed.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was in high school. I am known as the dog-sitter in my neighborhood. When my neighbors go on vacation or away, I am always the first one called to watch their animals. While they are away, I feed and walk the dogs. About: I’ve always had three cats growing up and still do today. I’ve also spent my whole life around dogs through family and friends, and I’ve been riding horses for over a decade. I’m comfortable with all animals and would love to meet yours! I'm currently a senior at sacred heart university. I'm looking to fill in my free time by helping out with any pet needs! I have a good amount of free time open and can't wait to start taking care of your animals! I live in an apartment which is dog and cat friendly. It has its own mini dog park/area on site. It also has lots of walking trails for some long walks.

About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds from as early as I can remember. Being the oldest of my siblings I was the first to have to take on the pet care chores, and this included both our dogs and our cats, and the other types of animals we had in our household. I have pet care experience with dogs and cats, as well as other pets too. When I moved out on my own with my previous partner (2012-2017) we had adopted three rescued cats, and I was the main administer of the diabetic cat’s insulin and late IV fluid treatments. My ex kept our cats in the split, but in 2018 I adopted my first dog completely on my own. She’s a rescue pit bull mix and now, with my current husband, she is joined by another rescued pit bull mix and a rescued cat. Last year we also adopted a red ear slider turtle off the street in Philadelphia and he now enjoys his aquatic terrarium with his guppy and pleco friends. In 2023 I briefly worked for a dog walking company in Ridgefield and was bit by one of the client’s dogs, unprovoked, and because of that I left the service after being blamed for the outburst and attack (despite telling the owners and the employer that the dog was getting increasingly aggressive with me and I wasn’t comfortable walking him anymore). It was the only time I had ever had an animal turn on me like that and it made me rethink working for a service where I wasn’t listened to or given proper protection. My husband and I have been Rover clients since we moved to Connecticut in 2023 and I am very happy to say we have never had a negative experience, which is why I have decided to lend my services to other pets and families in the area that are in need of an experienced pet caretaker. I am a professional actor so I have days that are marked off for auditions and work or rehearsals, however it is not a consistent time or place. I work throughout the Northeast, NYC, and the Mid Atlantic currently with my acting opportunities, but I am also open to short term travel as well. Because of that, my availability is very open some weeks and not as much on others, depending on what projects I am currently involved in and what the scheduling is like. I would love to spend more time your pets in my downtime and give them the attention they require, since mine are pretty saturated in it regularly. I have two dogs, which are extremely friendly and love other dogs, people, and cats! Our cat is very aloof so they wouldn’t be seen much in cases where pet sitting at my home is needed. Our yard is not fenced in but I am very accustomed to taking them out for walks, or having them leashed under my supervision in our yard. Because I live in Newtown, there are plenty of places to get some quality walks in, and we are also not far from open public dog parks either if that suits your furry friend! I also have my own car which I am more than comfortable transporting your pet in or coming to you for check ins or walks. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines so that is not a worry either, and I am diligent in making sure everyone has a great time when their friends (and our human friends) are over too!
