About: Hi, I’m Jessica. My love for animal care started in 2018 when my family rescued our dog, Chase, from a puppy mill in Pennsylvania. Helping him feel safe, understood, and confident pushed me to learn more about dog body language, temperament, leash behavior, and how to care for each dog based on their needs. I originally entered college as a pre-veterinary Animal Science major and gained hands-on experience with animals, including sheep. I also competed in UConn’s Little I competition and placed second. Later, I shifted toward human medicine and changed my major to Allied Health Sciences on the pre-med track, but my love for animals never left. I also worked as a kennel assistant, where I cared for pets in a boarding environment and learned how important routine, safety, patience, and clear instructions are. Dogs are my strongest area, but I also have experience with cats and small animals through feeding and basic care. For pets with more specific needs, I’m very willing to learn and follow your instructions carefully. Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know their routine, temperament, walking style, triggers, favorite activities, nervous habits, and how they do around other dogs, cats, strangers, children, loud noises, or new environments. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, reactive, slow to warm up, or just very particular, I’d rather know upfront so I can care for them safely and calmly. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, companionship, and basic routine reinforcement. I’m not a professional trainer, but I’m happy to follow the commands and routines you already use. My goal is to keep your pet safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while giving you clear updates and peace of mind. My schedule is currently flexible, especially for drop-ins and walks. I’m usually available during morning, afternoon, and evening time blocks, and I do my best to plan visits in a way that gives each pet enough time, patience, and attention. I’m also happy to discuss your pet’s usual routine so I can keep things as consistent as possible while you’re away. In a client’s home, I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible. I pay attention to doors, gates, leashes, food instructions, litter areas, water bowls, and anything the owner tells me is important. I also like to know about each pet’s temperament, triggers, hiding spots, leash behavior, and comfort level with new people so I can keep the visit safe and calm. For walks, I make sure pets are securely leashed before leaving the home and avoid unnecessary interactions with unknown dogs or people unless the owner says otherwise. I’m patient with shy, nervous, excited, or slower-to-warm-up pets, and I’d rather move carefully than rush them. I’ll also send clear updates, so you know how your pet is doing.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and i truly love to bond and be with animals. I want to be a vet when im older so i will take this job very seriously and work to the best of my ability. I have pet sit for other dogs before and loved to spend time with some new animal friends. I'm currently a student in high school so i have a lot of time to come and take care of any animals that need. I love to go on walks so if your dog wants to walk, we could walk for hours. I do not have a fenced yard but i am used to having to walk big dogs that i've sat on leashes and they have plenty or backyard space to walk around and do their business. If they need a crate that is also 100% doable.

About: I’m great with all kinds of dogs — active pups who love playtime outdoors and calm dogs who enjoy peaceful, relaxing moments. I adjust my care to fit their personality and make sure they feel comfortable and loved. I am currently working full time Monday through Friday. Anytime outside of working hours I will be open and ready to provide care! Weekends and early morning I am also available. I keep each pet’s care as consistent as possible with their normal routine. I also make sure every dog gets extra attention so they always feel safe, happy, and comfortable.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs my whole life. I have fostered rescue puppies for five years now. I have also worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for two years. I am just graduated from college so I am available throughout the week or weekends. I can start booking appointments after June 9th! This includes dog or cat pet sitting, dog walking, or overnights! About: I have taken care of many dogs since I was 14. I can take care of a high energy puppy who needs to get all of their energy out. I love spending time with older, calmer dogs as well who need just as much love. I am very on top of it when taking care of your pets and will make sure they get the best care possible. I also have experience with cats and can make sure they are as comfortable as possible. I am also very flexible in the type of care and the times you need! i’m not really busy during the summer so I have plenty of time to watch your pets. I do have a part-time restaurant job, but I only work once to twice a week. I have a big yard for your dog to roam around. I would need you to provide a crate or a leash for your pets.

About: I have 2 labs (1 lab German Shepard mix and 1 lab), who love to play and romp around, as well as the finer things in life like relaxation.My working schedule allows me to work from home full time, huge plus for the pups and kiddos. We travel about once a year for 2 weeks, and mostly spend our time in town as our boys do sports. I was a dog walker and sitter for 2 years in college, had a dog growing up as a child and I’ve rescued and adopted 5 pups with my husband. Since I'm use to the early mornings, walking the fur babies early is not a problem. I believe a tired dog is a happy dog and I try to make sure they get as much play time and attention as needed. Treating the fur babies as family members, means they have their beds, own couch, toys and free range in our house.

About: Growing up my family always had a dog. Over the years we have had a total of three. I am lucky to be a dog dad myself now of my beautiful rescue Lola. Having her as a few month old puppy, my fiancée and I were able to train her so I do have experience and patience with puppies, along with older dogs as well. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I can do morning or evening visits or walks depending on what works for you and your pet! What I find works best is to meet with the dog and owner before hand to find out what kind of routine works best for them, what toys they like to play with, favorite treats ect. It’s all about making the owner feel comfortable and to make sure their pet is comfortable as well!

About: I’ve dog sat and walked for multiple families and cared for cats for 10+ years. I am looking to help local families with pet care I work fully remote and have a flexible schedule so I am able to assist in mornings, during the day, and evening regularly and consistently I have two cats at my apartment currently and have owned pets my entire life. For dogs or cats that I sit, I ensure a safe environment to meet every family’s needs

About: I have grown up with large dogs (Dobermans, Pitties, Mastiffs) my entire life. I have been rescuing Pitties for over 20yrs and am currently on my fourth rescue. I am experienced with medication administration, special needs and, all ages of dogs from newborn to senior. I have an hour lunch break and, am free after 3pm daily and, all day every other wknd! I care for my 3 pets and can't wait to get home and see them! I work 7-3 most days but, my dog is yard trained so, can be let out multiple times when I am not at home. Once I do get home, we head out for a walk and then, its dinner time! All of my animals are allowed on my furniture and, choose who's bed they sleep in each night!

About: I've grew up with dogs and have been responsible for taking care of them, including feeding, walking/running & playing/taking outside, bathing, and more. I have experience giving older dogs medicine, both orally and injections (especially insulin for diabetic dogs). One of my dogs developed hip dysplasia and cancer at her older age, so I am experienced with caring for senior dogs in need of extra attention. Additionally, I often pet sit for family and friends and am trusted to ensure not only their basic needs are met (clean water, food, bathroom breaks/walks), but also they receive attention and affection while their owners are away. I'm currently home for the summer as a college student and I'm unable to get a job with a set schedule because I have surgery coming up which takes a huge chunk out of my summer but I'm available for the entirety of June and first week of July. I can basically be free whenever needed, weekdays and weekends! Since I have cats at my house, I don't care for client's pets in my own home to minimize conflict. In clients homes I follow whatever rules laid out for their animals, ensuring they're fed at the proper intervals, always have clean water (and litter boxes if used). If applicable, I like to go outside with the pets to play with them and make sure they get needed stimulation. I take them on walks (and of course clean up after them), and runs when applicable. I also like to make sure the animals get lots affection (as long as approved by their owners) to make sure they're not lonely while away!

About: I have taken care of animals ever since I can remember as I grew up with lots of pets and took on responsibility for them from an early age. I have worked on a farm in the past, which gave me the chance to work with all kinds of animals. I love all animals, especially dogs. I have had the opportunity to channel that love into pet sitting and walking other pets for neighbors and clients for about a year. I have taken care of a variety of pets, especially dogs ranging from young puppies to seniors. With my care, clients can be assured that their pets will be safely taken care of and loved. I am a student home for the summer so I have a pretty flexible schedule! I am available throughout the day Monday through Saturday, so I will be able to dedicate lots of time to caring for your pet! I follow any specific instructions for pets, making sure they are well-fed and exercised. I am willing to either play with the pet at home or take them on walks, whichever is preferable.
